Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Kairi looked up at Sora, walking beside him. Even the smallest touch, like holding her hand, brought her comfort and courage. Maybe she really would be okay. As long as Sora was around, Jafar couldn't bother her, right?

Sora didn't bother talking much during the walk, knowing that they didn't really have to talk. Kairi was in a quiet mood and so was he, and that was okay. They had each other, and as long as that was the case, he was content. They got further away from the house, entering a more open area that Sora didn't recognize since the town went through major reconstruction.
Kairi felt safe beside Sora, their surroundings changing as they walked into a different area of the reconstructed town. She'd walked through here a few times the last week or so, and the place wasn't as busy as the square further in town.

"They sure have done a lot of work to this place," Sora said mostly to himself, looking around. So much had changed since he stopped in here during the time of the Organization; this place actually looked beautiful again, like it must have looked before Xehanort. It was cool.
"Mm," Kairi hummed with a small nod. "It's just how I remember." When she was younger, she walked around Radiant Garden with her grandmother all the time. It looked just as her memories revealed to her.

Sora hummed in response, his hand still gripping Kairi's. Well, it was about time something good happened to this world. He just hoped that no chaos came to it soon. But this world always seemed to get mixed into the trouble, somehow.

"And it will unfortunately be the last you remember, Princess." Jafar appeared on the other side of the area from the couple, his red and black cape flowing in the faint wind. "For this world will soon see Oblivion, just as the Islands has done."

Kairi's eyes widened, her steps immediately halting as she tightened her hold on Sora's hand. He's here, she thought. He was in front of her again, in his true form. The last time he was physically with her, he cast that awful spell on her. What was he going to do now?

  • Author
Sora grunted, taking his hand out of Kairi's as he stepped forward and stood slightly in front of her. He extended an arm in front of her protectively, his Keyblade appearing in his other hand. He felt his calmness vanish, fury replacing it. Jafar...

"You both still live," Jafar said slyly, a smile of the same fashion appearing on his face. "Such a shame. I gave the Princess very clear instructions."

Kairi looked away from Jafar in fear, disgust, and shame. How could she actually listen to him? Even if she hadn't completed the task, she'd come close enough.

"We're still alive," Sora agreed lowly. "And it's going to stay that way. You're the one that's going to die, Jafar." He would pay for the pain he caused Kairi, hurting the worlds, and hurting him. Today was Jafar's last day.
"Highly doubtful," Jafar said with the same dark smile. "You see, street rat, the Princess is still under my control. I'm positive she can clarify as much." He looked away from Kairi, who looked over at him warily, and let his eyes rest on the Keyblade warrior. "But you... Your wound is still awfully infected, is it not?" Of course it was. It would take many days for such an injury to heal. Jafar made sure of it when he casted the spell.

"If you think that's going to stop me, then you've really underestimated me, Jafar," Sora said confidently. Jafar was right; his wound hurt even now. But he had fought with wounds before. And today, he was fighting for the girl that was behind his arm. No way would he fail.
Jafar frowned at the words, since they were entirely correct. Perhaps he did underestimate the brat. "Regardless, I have my own weapon to assist me," he said in reply. His eyes found the Princess hidden behind the boy's arm, who stiffened in fear. Yes, she knew what he was talking about.
  • Author
"Don't even think about using Kairi to do your dirty work," Sora said lowly, eyes narrowing. "If she couldn't finish the job the first time, no way will she be able to finish it now." He was right, whether Jafar wanted to admit it or not.

"We'll see how much of an affect you have on her when you're near death, boy!" Jafar said, authority and power in his voice. He then shot a beam toward Sora with his staff, initiating combat. It was time to be rid of the fool.

Kairi gasped, taking a step back instantly. No... This couldn't be happening! Not because of her!

Sora lifted his Keyblade, wincing when he managed to block the beam but it sent a small charge through the weapon to his arm. "Kairi, get back," he said, already sensing she moved away a little. This was going to be dangerous.
Kairi nodded a little and backed up a few more steps, seeing Jafar send another beam at Sora. That made her pick up her pace. She ran to hide behind a small dip in the wall, peeking around the corner to see how Sora handled himself through this fight.

Sora turned his Keyblade and blocked another beam, grunting and taking a small step back when he did. Kairi was at a safe distance; now it was time for him to take on Jafar. He ran forward and initiated a battle with the sorcerer, not planning on losing a battle to the man who dared to touch Kairi.
Kairi pressed herself against the wall when one of Jafar's beams missed Sora and ended up coming to her. Thankfully she dodged in time, and she wasn't injured. But...Sora... He was in awful shape, since this battle had been going on for a while. Jafar had unfortunately been right; Sora's wound was affecting his fighting abilities. The wound she dealt to him. The redhead peeked cautiously around the corner again, hoping to see him on his feet and fighting.

Sora cried out when one of Jafar's attacks hit him, the teen flying back a few feet before landing on the ground with a thud. He rolled a little and stopped on his side facing Jafar, not moving because of the pain that had him paralyzed. That battle had lasted a while, and Sora used up all his magic on defense. He...lost.

"Sora!" Kairi cried instantly. She saw Jafar advancing on the boy she loved, and she did what her heart instructed her to do. She ran forward, along the cobblestone until she reached Sora. She stepped in front of him, her arms going out to her sides. "Don't touch him!"

Jafar arched an eyebrow, his footsteps halting as he stood a few feet away from the girl. "What have we here?" he asked with an evil smirk. "The Princess protecting the Knight? How quickly stories change."

  • Author
Sora grunted, his Keyblade still in his grasp as he laid on his side. "Kairi," he said through his teeth. "Run." He wasn't able to win this fight, no matter how badly he wanted to fight for her. His body wouldn't let him do anything else. But she could still get away safely.
"No," Kairi said, glancing out of the corner of her eye briefly before looking back up at Jafar. "I'm not leaving you." She wouldn't leave Sora, not like this. He wasn't going to die for her. Because of her.
  • Author
"Go back to the house, Kairi," Sora said firmly, still speaking through his teeth because of the pain. If she went back there, not only would she be safe, but she could get help. It might have been too late for Sora by the time she got back, but they could still kill Jafar.
"I said no," Kairi repeated sternly, her eyebrows furrowing. The look Jafar was giving her did cause her fear, but she wasn't going to abandon Sora. She needed him so many times in the past, and now he needed her. Kairi wasn't going to let him down.
