Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Hush, boy!" Jafar ordered loudly, glancing at the street rat before his eyes found the empty ones of his newest puppet. The puppet with a very powerful weapon.

Kairi's heart leaped at the new voice. "Sora." She kept her gaze on Jafar despite the fact that her heart spoke for her, Sora's voice not having an affect on her physically.

"Shut up, Jafar!" Sora spat in return. "You want me killed? Then do it yourself!" Don't give Kairi the burden of ending it...please... His heart couldn't handle that. He was trying to fight for her with Jafar, but that was all he could do right now.
"Why should I, a powerful sorcerer, get my hands dirty when manipulation is much less messy?" Jafar asked with a smirk, glancing over at Sora. The street rat knew what was coming, and he couldn't handle it. "Kairi, put an end to the poor boy's life. It seems he cannot handle much more."

Sora grunted, lifting his gaze to the girl who was under Jafar's control. "Kairi, remember what I said before?" he asked softly. "You were afraid this would happen again...but I knew that if it did happen, you could break free. Have faith in yourself!" She could do this!
Kairi walked over toward Sora slowly, unable to control her body. Panic, however, was within her heart. "I can't stop it, Sora!" she told him urgently, fear in her heart. Jafar was too strong...and she was too weak.

"Yes you can!" Sora argued verbally, ocean blue eyes stuck on Kairi. "You did it once, and you can do it again. I know you can!" He believed in her, with all his heart. She could still break free.
Kairi stopped in front of Sora, her blank eyes dropping to his ocean blue. She heard Jafar order her to "do it now", and her grasp automatically tightened on the Keyblade in her hand. No, her heart told her silently. Your Light is not to be used for this. Focus on the Darkness and use your Light and power to obliterate it.

"I believe in you, Kairi," Sora said more softly, looking directly up into Kairi's eyes from where he laid. She still could stop Jafar from getting his way. She could break through this spell by using her own strength and not depending on him. She was strong.
Kairi shifted the grip of her Keyblade to both hands, holding the weapon out in front of her. Sora's voice and her own heart were reaching her conscience, something she lost when Jafar took control of her mind once again. Your Light is stronger than any Darkness. Use it, and defeat that which is haunting you and your loved ones.

"I love you," Sora said softly, not sure if he was getting through to Kairi or not. She hadn't killed him yet, so that was a good sign. If he didn't get through to her, then...he'd probably be with her soon. If he died, she most likely would too. But he couldn't want that; the worlds needed her. Her Light burned too strong to be forgotten by anyone.
Jafar laughed from behind Kairi, and she knew it was because Sora confessed his love for her once again. Kairi closed her eyes at the three words, however, keeping her grasp on the Keyblade only she could wield. Destiny's Embrace, and right now, her destiny was opposite the one Jafar wanted for her. Use your Light. Defeat the Darkness. The tip of Kairi's Keyblade began to glow with the power within her heart, and she knew what she had to do. Time to die.

Sora's eyes went down to the Keyblade that's tip was starting to glow, his gaze going back up to Kairi before returning to the weapon. Even if he wanted to, he couldn't have blocked an attack like this. Maybe...this is it. Maybe it's meant to be this way. Sora briefly shut his eyes, accepting it for only a second before he grunted slightly and opened his eyes. No. Neither him or Kairi were going to perish like this. They wouldn't die today.
Now, Kairi. The girl listened to the command her heart gave her, and she didn't question it for a second. She turned around quickly, facing Jafar just as a white beam of light shot from the tip of her Keyblade. She grunted a little at the power she could feel within the attack, and the scream that left Jafar's throat. Kairi squinted through the bright light, it growing brighter and brighter within seconds.

Sora's eyes widened at the sudden turn of events, having not expected this at all. He thought maybe Kairi would break free, but he never imagined her attacking Jafar. And this attack was very strong...fatal, even for Jafar.
Kairi closed her eyes when the light got too bright, though her grasp didn't loosen on the Keyblade. The power was still leaving her and flowing through it, destroying Jafar. His scream finally faded away after a moment, and Kairi felt the power that had coursed through her veins weaken. She knew it was over, right then. Jafar was gone.

Sora opened his eyes after briefly shutting them, the brunet lowering his head to the ground and letting the side rest on the stone. It was...over. Kairi was the one who killed Jafar. He always knew she was strong, but he never expected her to show that strength in an attack like that.
The weight of the Keyblade caused Kairi to sidestep slightly, and she let the tip sit on the ground. But, she didn't get to admire the weapon for long; it faded in a faint light, and she then understood. Her use for it was over.

Sora looked down at the weapon Kairi held, seeing it fade away. He didn't know what just happened, but the threat from Jafar was over. He was done messing with Kairi, and he was done tormenting the worlds. The only pain that remained was the pain Sora was experiencing right now.
Kairi turned around then, her hands empty of any weapon to show that she just eliminated an enemy...the strongest sorcerer in the worlds. The girl knelt down next to the boy she loved and lifted a hand to his face, tears instantly appearing in her eyes when she saw all his injuries and remembered what she almost did to him. Again.

Sora looked up at Kairi weakly when she knelt down by him, her hand on his cheek. "You did it," he said softly. She broke free of Jafar's spell, just like he said she could.
Kairi smiled weakly, but it only lasted a second before worry replaced her relief. "Thank you for believing in me," she said softly, her hand resting on Sora's cheek. She could feel the warmth of his body heat, knowing he was still alive. She hadn't killed him. He wasn't dead because of her. Sora was alive.

Sora smiled weakly as well, looking up at Kairi's soft, untainted eyes. "You're welcome," he said quietly. But really, Kairi was the one who did all the work. She was the one who broke free of the spell.
Kairi moved her hand on Sora's cheek to his spiky hair, which was a little damp with sweat. But that was the least of Kairi's concerns. "Are you okay?" she asked then, her voice shaking a little as she looked over Sora's face and then his chest. She saw some tears in his clothing, which made her nervous. What had Jafar done to him?
  • Author
"...I'm pretty beat up," Sora confessed softly. He still had no strength to move, and his injuries were absolutely terrible. Not fatal, but bad enough that he was in a lot of pain and just wanted to lose consciousness.
"Can you make it back to the house?" Kairi asked, her eyes finding Sora's again. She would help him the best she could, but she didn't have any potions or anything to help until then. And she wasn't about to leave him lying in the middle of the street.
