Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku focused his attention forward then, concentrating on getting Sora back to Kairi's without causing any more injuries. He saw Kairi out of the corner of his eye come up on the other side of Sora, but a minute after she got ahead, that way she could open the door. The house was just up ahead.

I hate Jafar, Sora thought, looking at the house that was right ahead. He was a powerful sorcerer all right, and Sora didn't need the fight to prove that to him. Oh well; he'd deal with it. With Jafar defeated, only Hades was still tormenting the worlds. That was really good news.
Kairi approached the front door, opening it and stepping inside to hold it open for Riku and Sora. She looked back at them with worried eyes, knowing that Sora was in rough shape. She would have to call Aerith to see if she could do anything to help.

"Thanks, Kai," Sora said softly, stepping inside with Riku's assistance. Even if it was just a small thing, he appreciated her holding the door open. And, of course, he was grateful she saved his life.
Kairi nodded a little, her eyes trailing Sora as Riku helped him further into the house. She shut the door and looked back to the living room just in time to see Roxas push himself up from the couch, a quizzical and alarmed expression on his face. He made room for Sora on the loveseat regardless.

Sora saw the look on Roxas's face, and he smiled weakly while also waving faintly to his best friend. He didn't have to look so worried; Sora would survive. He just needed to collapse for a little while and recover.
Riku helped Sora over to the sofa, and slowly assisted him in getting settled. He glanced over at Kairi, watching her pick up the phone and start dialing. She left the room then, and he heard her say Aerith's name before she vanished from his sight. Right. Sora needed a healer.

Sora leaned the back of his head against the couch, his back also against the furniture. It really hurt...He shut his eyes, furrowing his eyebrows slightly. "At least Jafar's out of the way," he murmured.
"Yeah, thank goodness," Riku said, crossing his arms as he stood next to Sora's position on the couch. But, Sora said something, about Kairi... "What happened?"

"I was defeated," Sora said bitterly. "Jafar got a hold of Kairi and threatened her until she randomly summoned her Keyblade. Then Jafar tried to hypnotize her into using it to kill me. It backfired." The attack that was meant for him went to Jafar.
"Whoa," Roxas said, his eyebrows furrowing as he and Riku shared a glance. Kairi summoned her Keyblade? That wasn't what Roxas expected at all, much like how he hadn't expected to hear Kairi was the one who defeated Jafar. He missed a lot.

Sora nodded slightly. "The Keyblade vanished as soon as Jafar was killed," he said. "I don't think Kairi really has a handle on it." She didn't seem to know how she summoned it. And how did she learn that attack?
Aqua looked to the kitchen, where Kairi disappeared to. She could faintly hear her talking on the phone, but she wasn't really listening to what words were being said. Kairi...wielded a Keyblade. Because of...who? It had to be passed on.

Sora crossed his arms over his chest at the silence, hearing Kairi speaking softly from another room. What was she doing, exactly? She got on the phone as soon as she walked in the door. Oh well, she would have been with him if the call wasn't important. And he felt like he was going to pass out in a few moments anyway, so he wouldn't be great company.
Aqua lowered her gaze, her eyebrows furrowing as she sat on the other couch in the room. Terra chose Riku as his successor, and Ventus hadn't had the chance to choose anyone; it was fate that Sora got his power from him. Aqua... She was the only one who came in contact with Kairi, and put that protective spell on her necklace. Was it me?

Sora felt himself dozing, the lack of conversation in the room helping him get closer and closer to sleep. But, he couldn't get Kairi off his mind. Even if Jafar was gone, he still wanted her close to him. He loved her, after all.
Kairi pressed a button on the wireless phone, leaving the kitchen and returning to the living room. Everyone's eyes fell on her instantly, and she stopped walking briefly before moving her feet again. "Aerith's on her way," she said softly, a small nod accompanying the words. "She's willing to help." Kairi stopped near the couch Sora was on, returning the phone to the hook.

Sora thought he heard some soft-spoken words, though he was out of it already. He lost consciousness when he sensed Kairi's presence in the room again, having no regrets about giving in to his injuries for a little while.

Riku nodded once. "Good," he said, then turning his head to look at Sora. "Looks like he's gonna need it, and it's probably better to get it done while he's out." Sora just fainted, most likely from his wounds.

Kairi let her eyes fall on Sora instantly at the words, and she sat herself down beside him. He hadn't fallen over when he lost consciousness, so she lifted her arm, setting her elbow against the back of the couch and putting her hand into Sora's soft hair. He would be okay soon.

Sora stayed unconscious for a little while, long enough for Aerith to come and tend to his wounds without him realizing it. But unfortunately, the mage said that there wasn't much she could do to heal the deeper wounds like the ones in his back and chest. Those would take a few days to heal. The brunet started coming out of his faint about an hour after she left, the pain the first thing to register to him.
Kairi didn't move from her spot, though she did get up so Aerith could have some room to heal Sora when she was here. But now she was on the couch again, Sora's head in her lap as she ran her fingers through his thick, spiky hair. He would be alright; she would be there for him, just like he was for her.

The next thing Sora sensed wasn't unpleasant like the pain was. In fact, it was so soothing that it almost encouraged him to lose consciousness again. Somebody was playing with his hair, and he was laying down now instead of sitting up. "Mm?" he hummed in question, and drowsiness.
Kairi blinked at the hum, but then she relaxed, smiling. "Don't worry," she said softly, running her hand through Sora's hair again. "It's just me." Everyone else was busy; it was just her and Sora in the house right now. Though she also said it so he wouldn't wonder who was treating him so gently.

Sora smiled weakly, his eyes remaining shut. "Good," he responded softly. "I wouldn't want anyone else this close." No other girl could ever be as close to him as he was with Kairi. He loved her with all his heart.
Kairi smiled softly at the words, continuing to run her fingers through Sora's spikes. He seemed a little better at least, and that was okay. It was better than nothing. "...How're you feeling?" Kairi asked softly, tilting her head a little as she looked down at the boy she loved.
