Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Because of her exhaustion, Kairi was able to fall asleep rather quickly. Sora's calm breathing beside her helped her, acting as a small lullaby. Even the comfort he brought by being so close was enough for her to drift, the girl falling asleep to dream of the one she loved.

A few hours later

Time flew by when Light was in the library in the castle, and she only noticed that it was so late when she finally took her nose out of the book that seemed to provide some helpful information. She didn't know for sure, but she might have made some progress. For the night, though, she had to stop researching. She went back to town, the walk taking a while. She was on guard in case anyone was lurking in the shadows, but she had pretty bad night vision, so somebody could have been standing there without her knowing it.

Riku had his back against the cool stone wall near the entrance to Radiant Garden, such a thing being built during reconstruction. He thought he heard footsteps from nearby, and he turned his head to look in that direction. He was currently hidden by the shadows, but it didn't bother him any. Riku's aqua eyes settled on the girl he had been wondering about the last few hours, the moonlight showing her as she got closer.

Light glanced up at the sky, wondering what time it was. It was pretty dark, though the moon revealed some things on the world. This town was so dark at night, and she remembered as a child her parents wouldn't let her and Ven stay out too late. She had been so young when she lived here. So immature. ...So weak.
"There you are," Riku said, pushing himself away from the wall. He stepped out of the shadows just before Lightning passed him, a couple yards between them. He was curious as to where she ran off to for the last few hours.

Lightning's eyes widened in surprise, the young woman jumping a little but setting a hand on her weapon anyway. But when she looked over and saw it was Riku, she relaxed. Her expression, which must have been clear to Riku, revealed her thoughts. I thought I told you never to sneak up on me!
Riku smirked a little, approaching Lightning. "Sorry," he said as he closed the distance between them. He saw what was written on her face, and he understood it well enough.

"Yeah, sure," Light said, rolling her eyes and folding her arms over her chest. "You really just love scaring people. Admit it." Of course, she was only joking, even if a part of her wondered if that was true. Riku did have a habit of sneaking up on people.
Riku shook his head, though his hair didn't get in his eyes; not anymore. "Nah," he said in disagreement. "I'm just naturally stealthy." His smirk remained, his gaze on the eyes of the woman he loved. They were an even paler blue in the moonlight.

"Not sure I entirely believe that, but alright," Light said, a crooked smirk starting to form on her lips. At least now they were off the topic of why she got in so late. She didn't want Riku to know what she was trying to do, just in case it didn't work out. She didn't want to get his hopes up.
Riku rolled his eyes, shaking his head at the person in front of him. Regardless, he still wanted to find something out. "Where were you?" he asked, though his voice didn't hold any suspicion. He was just curious. He missed her today.

Light's smile faded, seriousness replacing it. "I went to the library in the castle," she said honestly. She actually had to work up the courage to go in there after everything that occurred there. Maleficent did use her home world's castle most of the time when Lightning was with her, but some bad things happened here in Radiant Garden, too.
"Find anything?" Riku asked, thinking the search had something to do with Hades and the Ice Titan. He remembered how she studied it when he found her at the Islands. But why was she looking at it like that? He didn't get it.

"I'm not sure," Light said, faintly shaking her head. "I'll have to look into it more." She just hoped Riku didn't ask what "it" was. If he did, she'd just say it was a surprise.
Riku nodded a little, though he decided not to badger Lightning any further with questions. She looked a little worn out. "You going back to the house?" he asked softly, his eyes still on her, smirk gone by this point.
  • Author
"Yeah," Lightning confirmed with a small nod. "We need to rest up if we're going after Hades tomorrow." Or today, depending on what time it was. Either way, they needed to sleep.
"Right," Riku said in agreement. He was going to do that whenever the rest got back to the house, but Lightning wasn't there, so he decided to wait up. But now that she was here, he'd go back with her.

"What're you doing out this late in the first place?" Light asked, arching a brow at Riku. He was lurking in the shadows, too. She had to convince him to stop doing that, because it wasn't fun having him sneak up on her all the time. And he didn't belong in the Darkness.
Riku set his hand on Light's upper back, guiding her so they could start back. He took the first step. "I was waiting for you," he said, turning his head to look down at the person he loved. He wasn't going to just wait for her in the safety of their bed; he would be out looking for her, to make sure she was alright, even if it did require a little waiting.

Light's arched brow lowered, her eyes softening a little. "Sorry," she said apologetically. "I lost track of time." She meant to be back before it got too late, but obviously that hadn't happened.
Riku shook his head a little, keeping his hand on Light's back. "Don't sweat it," he insisted softly, smiling weakly. He couldn't be upset with her over such a thing; he trusted her to be careful while he helped with Sora. Lightning wasn't someone he thought would go behind his back about anything.

Light smiled weakly, walking along with Riku. She stepped closer to him and wrapped an arm around his lower back, his body warm compared to the night air. She actually didn't feel like sleeping; she wanted to spend time with him. But what could they do?
Riku hummed softly, his hand automatically going to Light's shoulder on her other side when she got closer. He looked down at her for a little longer before his eyes focused forward, the moonlight allowing him to see the path ahead. He guessed it didn't really matter, since he could see well in the dark too.

Lightning gently leaned against her boyfriend, her other hand coming up to lightly sit on his chest. She liked this, a lot. She was glad that they made up. And being this close reminded her again of how she wanted to consciously enjoy his presence. What could they do at night, other than stargazing?
Riku walked with Lightning in silence for a few minutes, taking in the close proximity they had. He liked it, a lot. He never thought he would want something so much with someone, but Lightning was his first for a lot of things. She was great.
