A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"This is nice," Light commented after a few minutes, her voice soft. She never thought she would feel such fulfillment in loving and caring for somebody else. She thought she was better off as a loner, but she was seeing now that she couldn't handle life by herself. And not just anybody could help her cope. She needed Riku.

"Mm," Riku hummed softly, squeezing Lightning a little. It was like she read his mind. She was good at that sometimes, too. He believed she was getting to know him better than Sora or Kairi, but that would be pretty hard to beat. Riku, though, was willing to give her that chance. He would do anything for her, after all.

Light gently ran her hand over Riku's chest briefly, her gaze going up to the sky once her hand stilled. The were so many worlds out there, and so much chaos on them. She and Riku were from totally different worlds, and yet they were becoming best friends and lovers. Funny how that worked.

Riku continued walking, though he looked down at the woman he loved after a moment. "Do you wanna go back to the house?" he asked. He...didn't really want to. He just wanted it to be him and her, together, alone. Just once while things were a little better.

"Not really," Light confessed, lightly shaking her head and looking up at Riku's face. She knew that if they went in there, they would probably go straight to bed because they should have been rested for battle. But she wanted to forget about the fights for a while and just be with Riku. That wasn't such a bad thing, right?

Riku smiled a little, shaking his head. "Me either," he said softly. He didn't really want to go back anymore, now that he was with Light. They would just go to sleep if they went back, and that didn't sound very satisfying, even if he could cuddle with her as they slept.

"What do you want to do?" Lightning asked softly, keeping her gaze on Riku. She could only come up with the idea of stargazing. There wasn't much else they could do when they wanted to be alone and with each other, and feeling at peace. Unless, Riku had an idea.

Riku stopped walking, though he did keep his arm around Lightning. He glanced up at the sky, trying to think of something. What could they do? The Islands always had something, but...they couldn't go there. There was nothing but frozen ground there these days.

Light stopped walking when Riku did, looking at him before following his gaze to the sky. But after a moment, she lowered her head and leaned her cheek against his warm shoulder, eyes shutting in comfort. Anything was fine as long as she was with him.

Riku smiled slightly at the feeling of Light being even closer, though he kept his eyes on the sky. Honestly, he was just happy to be with her. It didn't matter what they did.

Light moved her hand from Riku's chest so it was wrapped around his front, the girl comfortable the way they were. She wouldn't have minded sitting down, since it was a long walk. She guessed by Riku's silence that he didn't have any ideas on what to do, but that was alright.

"Light," Riku said softly, looking away from the sky and down at her. "We don't have to do anything. I just wanna be with you." He didn't feel awkward confessing that, because they loved each other. Riku...was in love. That was a big step for someone like him.

Light smiled softly, keeping her eyes shut. "Agreed," she said quietly. All that she wanted was to be with him. They fought too much lately, and now that they were steady in their relationship again, she wanted to enjoy this peace they were experiencing.

Riku lowered his head a little, placing a gentle kiss on the top of Light's pink hair. He held the position, though he pulled back after a small moment. He loved her, he really did. She was all he thought about when things weren't so chaotic.

"I'm a little tired of standing, though," Light confessed softly after Riku withdrew from the small kiss. She walked quite a ways back to the town, and out to the castle in the first place. It would be nice to get off her feet.

Riku rubbed over Light's arm briefly at that, looking for a bench nearby. He found one, and he motioned to it with his free arm, pointing. "There," he said softly. There was one near a wall that they could sit on.

Light opened her eyes, looking over where Riku motioned. "Okay." She gently withdrew from the hold she had around Riku a little, her arm around the front of his torso moving back down to her side.

Riku glanced down at Light, but then focused again. He kept his arm around her shoulder, starting over toward the bench not too far off. He knew they should have been back at the house and sleeping, but he just didn't want to. And clearly neither did Lightning.

When she and Riku sat down, Light took back her arm from around his back so it wouldn't be pinned between him and the bench. She did stay right beside him, though, not wanting to be apart from him.

Riku put his arm back around Lightning, though he let his arm rest against the back of the bench. He let his hand rest against her hair, his fingers running through it a little as he looked at her. He wasn't too interested in the stars; he stared at them every night for the past thirteen years. Light was what he wanted to gaze at now.

Light smiled softly when Riku ran his hand over her hair slightly, her gaze going over to him. She never thought she would enjoy affectionate gestures like this, but she did. She couldn't imagine not having Riku in her life, so hopefully that would never be a reality.

Riku smiled a little, meeting Lightning's gaze before he looked to his hand traveling through her hair. "...Did I do this?" he asked softly. "In the future?" Was he still this affectionate with her? He imagined so, since his older self told him to propose...as soon as possible.

"Mm," Light hummed with a small nod. The question was very random to her; she and Riku hadn't spoken about the future for a while. She had been so distracted lately that some things weren't too fresh. But she did remember Riku was pretty affectionate in the future.

Riku's smile remained at that, a small hum leaving him as well. That was good...really good. He couldn't exactly imagine his life without Lightning right now, or with any lack of affection toward her. It would be really...lonely.

"What brings that up?" Light asked softly out of curiosity. It was so random; did he think about the future often? She never did go into much detail with the future, even if Riku's letter apparently told him to ask for all the details of what happened.
