A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Lightning's gentle touch caused Riku to move his hand that wasn't under the pillow, wrapping his arm around her side and setting his hand on her lower back. This was the closest they had been since the Islands were destroyed, but he hoped it wasn't the last time they really were. He loved her; he wanted to be with her always.

Light felt her body relax at Riku's gentle touch, her eyes already shut. She exhaled a soft breath and lightly rubbed Riku's cheek, the girl starting to doze off.

Riku's form relaxed even more at the gesture, and it didn't take long before he lost consciousness. He slept well, because he was next to the one he loved.

Light's gesture slowed to a stop once she finally passed out, her hand remaining on Riku's cheek even after she was asleep. This certainly was going to be the most peaceful sleep she received in a while, but only because of the boy in front of her.

The next day

 

Aqua flew beside Ventus on her glider, all of them heading for Olympus Coliseum. They were going to meet Hades face to face and finally settle things, but Aqua's heart knew something was wrong. She furrowed her eyebrows as they got closer to their destination, feeling...uncomfortable.

Ven rode on his glider next to Aqua, the boy thinking about the fight they would have with Hades. He remembered when Sora fought him, since he had been within him at the time. The Underworld was a tough place to fight, which was why Sora gave the Olympus Stone to help out. But they weren't even to the world yet and things felt odd.

Aqua turned her head, looking at Ventus and then Roxas, Terra, and Riku and Lightning. "Does anybody else feel that?" she called. Something was off. It was like the Darkness wasn't even in this direction.

 

"I do," Riku replied bitterly, having caught the vibe a minute or so ago. He was picking up on the Darkness, and it wasn't right by any means.

Light nodded slightly, turning her head to look in the direction it was coming from. But when she saw the nearby world that must have been the source, she grunted. It was Gran Pulse and Cocoon, the two worlds that were close enough together to be considered one real place. Something bad was happening there.

Riku glanced over his shoulder when he heard Light's grunt. "What?" he asked. He saw she was looking to the side and he followed her gaze, seeing a world not too far off. "Cocoon...?" Was that where the Darkness was coming from?

"Looks like that world's the source," Terra said with a small nod. "Let's check it out." He turned his glider and started towards it, seeing Ven change direction out of the corner of his eye as well. This Darkness was too big to ignore.

Roxas turned his glider as well, seeing Aqua and Riku do the same. As they got closer to Cocoon, the Darkness got stronger, and there was no doubt that something down there was going on. Something bad.

They all landed on Gran Pulse a few minutes later, since that was where the dark vibe was coming from. Lightning got off Riku's glider as Ven and Terra summoned theirs away, their armor also fading. Light, who was normally relaxed until she saw a threat, pulled out her weapon and held it tightly in her grasp. She looked around and saw the pillar that supported Cocoon nearby, but she wasn't seeing any problems here. What was going on?

Aqua dismissed her glider and armor, her Keyblade appearing in her grasp when the Darkness was so strong. Incredibly strong, really. She got a bad feeling in her heart, and she furrowed her eyebrows as she walked a few steps forward to stand beside Riku. "Do you recognize it?" she asked, recalling how he could smell a person's stench.

 

"Mm," Riku hummed, his Keyblade already in his hand. A frown was set on his face bitterly, mostly because he recognized the scent too well. It belonged to the person who destroyed the Islands and forced them all to leave. "...It's Hades."

Hades... Light thought, taking a few steps away from the group and looking around. She hoped that he didn't dare go to Cocoon and hurt her family. But, she doubted he cared about them right now. He wanted the Keybladers out of the way, and to assist him in that task, he'd bring in Fang and Vanille. She was sure of it.

Roxas turned his head to look at Riku when he heard the name, but then he let his eyes roam the wide area of Gran Pulse. "So where is he?" he asked no one in particular. "If he's that interested in playing games, he can find someone else to pick on. I'm not in the mood." All he wanted was to be with Namine, who he hadn't seen in days.

"He's probably waiting for a moment to catch us off guard," Terra said, gripping his Keyblade and looking around. But that wouldn't happen, not while this Darkness lingered here. They all knew something was up, so why couldn't Hades just show himself?

"Not sure how he could accomplish that," Riku said, glancing over at Terra before he looked to the crystal pillar that supported Cocoon. "We're already waiting." He couldn't surprise them if they already expected something to happen.

Vanille was hiding with Fang behind the pillar, listening to the conversation of the Keybladers. They were set to kill one person in particular today, and that was Lightning. Of course, they'd have to go through some other people to get to her, but that was alright. Her, Fang, and Hades...their enemies would all be dead soon enough. The two girls were ordered to ambush them and try to kill one of them straight away, and she knew who Fang would move in to attack first. Lightning.

Fang peeked around part of the crystal, her hands resting on it for the moment. "Okay, Vanille," she said quietly. "On the count of three, we go for the kill. Alright?" She turned her head to look back at her best friend. This was the plan they had been given, but now they had to carry it out. Hades was waiting.

"Alright," Vanille said with a small nod, grasping her weapon in her hands. She'd cast a spell to distract them and do some damage, and then Fang could kill Lightning. That plan would work out well.

"One," Fang said, gripping her spear and setting her feet. "Two." She saw her target straight ahead, and all she would have to do was make a bee-line right to her and finish the job. "Three!"

Vanille grunted, spinning her weapon slightly and casting an Aero spell. A large tornado quickly went for the group, and she saw a few of them immediately shift their attention to it. Two boys, Ven and Terra, jumped back in different directions to avoid it, and Lightning ran back a few steps in another direction to get out of its path. Good.

Aqua gasped and casted a shield around her to parry the Aero spell, while Riku dodge-rolled to the side. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Roxas do a flip to avoid it as well. But, who sent it?

 

Fang took this as her chance, and she took off in a sprint for Lightning. She made sure she had a tight grip on her spear before she leaped into the air and cried out, pointing her staff down so she could stab Lightning in the back.

Lightning grunted when she heard the cry, able to see Fang out of the corner of her eye. Good thing she was paranoid; she was in the right Paradigm to cast a shield. That was exactly what she did, instinct telling her to use the ability instead of jumping away to a position where she could potentially be attacked again.

Fang's attack was hindered, but she didn't hesitate swinging her spear again when she was on her feet. "Die!" she shrieked. She had to get rid of Lightning so she and Vanille would be free!

 

Riku recovered from the random Aero attack and heard the shriek, which caused him to look over in that general direction. He grunted, instantly taking a small step forward when he saw Fang. He should have expected this.
