Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku turned a little, his knees bent slightly in anticipation. But he wouldn't let these punks get to Light; not a chance. He looked around for a weapon of some sort, and he saw Light's case for her gunblade. There! Riku grunted, stepping over quickly and whipping the gunblade out of its case, flinging the bag at one of the soldiers in the living room. The gunblade was still in the form of a gun, so he shot at the soldier closest to him, the gun firing off.

The man grunted in surprise, seeing his soldier deflect the bullet after blocking the bag. He hadn't expected Riku to know how to use the gunblade, let alone the gun part of it. But he and his men were well trained; they wouldn't be hurt. He had to admit, though, this recruit had a good sense about him. He wasn't panicking.

Riku sensed one of the soldiers moving in, and he whirled around, firing off a bullet at the man before he could get too far. He glanced at the gunblade briefly. How does this thing turn into a sword?! He never learned this part!

Maybe he doesn't know how to use it after all, the man thought, looking at Riku from behind his mask. Oh well, Riku had to improvise then. He motioned for his men to all move it at once, and they did while he stood back a little bit.
Riku grunted, seeing multiple men moving in at the same time. Okay, fine, he thought, eyebrows furrowing. Keeping his grip on the gunblade, he threw his arm out, striking one of the men in the side of the head before he leaned a little, kicking another in the chest. He had to figure out how to get this thing into a sword, now!

Impressive, the man thought, seeing Riku deal physical attacks. He was obviously thinking about the weapon in his grasp while he fought, but at least he could multitask. He motioned one of his men to go for Lightning, seeing him move in and reach for her.
Riku caught the movement out of the corner of his eye, and he instantly focused on that. Light! Riku had moved a few steps over due to his recent movements, but now he was about to get closer to Light again. He shot a bullet at the man going for Lightning, thanking Fate for his perfect aim.

The man saw his man lift a hand to his chest and grunt, falling down to the ground afterward. But he was only playing his part; he had on a bullet-proof vest. In just a few more minutes, the leader would bring this all to a halt.

Riku saw he had just enough time to do what was necessary to protect Light, so he did it. He knocked the gunblade against his knee, hard. To his relief, it opened into a blade, causing a smirk to appear on his lips. Riku then went for the man that was closest to him and Lightning, slicing him across the chest and forcing him back with a kick to the chest.

Huh, the leader thought, impressed. Riku was doing well, extremely so. He could call this test right now, but he wanted to see a little bit more. He had never seen a rookie with such good instincts.
Riku saw that three more men were left, so he took the one that was closest to Light, the boy darting so he was in front of her. He lifted his forearm and knocked it against the guy's windpipe, stunning him. Riku whirled around, striking the guy horizontally across the chest. He hit him one more time afterward, causing him to stumble and fall to the floor. That left one more, and Riku saw him moving for Light behind the couch. You're mine.

Light remained unaffected by the battles right in front of her, the tranquilizer too strong. She was completely out of it, and she would be for a while unless she was given some kind of antidote.
Riku turned around and jumped up, his hand finding the back of the couch right next to Lightning's head as he jumped over the front of the couch. He didn't touch her at all, the boy's feet hitting the soldier square in the chest before pressing him to the ground. Riku stood up straight and then pointed his gunblade at the last man standing, his foot on the other guy's chest. He dared that guy to move one muscle.

The man smiled behind his mask, very impressed. Riku was able to protect his officer well. And, he was determined to do it. "Well done," he said, lifting a hand to the mask he had over his head. He took it off, revealing his true identity. Lieutenant Amador.

Riku grunted in shock, his eyes widening. "L-Lieutenant!" he said in the same manner. What was he doing here? And why did he say "well done"?

"At ease, cadet," Lieutenant Amador said, seeing his men start rising off the ground, not really hurt. "There's no real danger here. It was an initiation test." And he passed, with flying colors.

Riku glanced down at the guy that started moving under his foot, and he lifted it off his chest, stepping over. He then looked back to Lieutenant Amador. "Sir...?" he said, lowering the weapon in his grasp. Test? This was a test?

Lieutenant Amador laughed, at ease as he normally was. "Well, you can't expect us to let everyone into the Guardian Corps," he explained. "We were testing you for protective instincts and abilities in general. And you passed with flying colors. Now you're officially in the Corps."

"Oh, um..." Riku stuttered, smiling nervously before it faded. He bowed slightly, lowering his head. "Thank you, sir." He held the position for a second before standing upright again. His adrenaline was still pumping. He needed a minute.

Lieutenant Amador nodded, starting over towards the officer who was unconscious on the couch. He pulled a needle out of his pocket, a fluid inside of it. This would wake Lightning out of her stupor. He knelt down slightly and lifted her sleeveless arm, inserting the needle into her skin and then giving her the antidote. That'd work in a minute.

Riku watched Lieutenant Amador inject the antidote, the boy keeping his position behind the couch. He flexed and then unflexed his hand repeatedly, trying to calm himself down. It always took him a couple minutes to get rid of the tension and adrenaline battle brought out of him.

Light grunted softly about thirty seconds after Amador withdrew the needle and took a few steps back, the young woman waking up fairly quickly because of the antidote. But she still felt pretty weak and tired. She curled her hands into light fists and forced her eyes open after about a minute of being injected, blinking a few times to clear things up. The rest of the men moved back to the other side of the room in that time, and the first person Lightning saw was Amador.
Riku saw that Lightning was waking up, and he was relieved to see that; he had been so worried that something really serious happened. Meanwhile, he glanced down at the weapon in his hand, seeing a small button near the trigger. He pressed it and blinked when the blade folded into a gun. Well, that was easier than he thought.

"You look dreamy, Farron," Lieutenant Amador said with a smirk, remembering he said the same thing to Lightning a while back before the l'Cie panic. "We slipped a tranquilizer in to replace the sugar for your tea. Knocked you out so we could give Riku his test."

"That's some tranquilizer," Lightning mumbled, lifting a hand and rubbing her face a little. She felt terrible. How much had they given her, anyway?

"Yeah, well, neither of you have to worry about coming in tomorrow," Lieutenant Amador said. "You'll need a day to recover completely from that drug. We needed to give you our strongest stuff to knock you out."

Riku lifted the weapon in his grasp, setting that hand on the back of the couch with the other. A day off? That meant he could go see his friends...and his family.
