A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"Back to ordering me around, huh?" Light asked softly, smirking faintly as she looked back to Riku. He had a habit of doing that, but lately, she had been the one giving him orders. As his Officer.

Riku caught the look in Light's eyes, and the meaning behind her words. "Hmph," he said, his smirk still in tact. He then walked past her, toward the hallway and the bathroom. He would shower; she would eat. They'd figure things out from there.

Light glanced over her shoulder at Riku, watching him go for a few moments before she turned around and went on her way. She wasn't too hungry, because whether she showed it or not, she still felt sick. Maybe she'd just get a drink and then lay down on the couch.

Riku entered the bathroom and started the shower, taking off his shirt once the water was running. Once he was done with his shower, he'd spend some time with Lightning. He wasn't sure if it would go well or be awkward, or if they would even talk. Regardless, he would be there, just in case she needed him.

As Light predicted, she just made herself some tea (after throwing out the sugar that was really tranquilizer and using real sugar) and sat down on the couch. Her paperwork was still on the table, undisturbed. But she didn't feel up to doing it. She drank some tea and then set it on the table, laying down on the couch and curling up for a while with her eyes shut.

Riku got out of the shower, dressed in his normal clothing. He managed to sneak home one night and bring a couple things, that way he wasn't stuck with the uniform for the Corps. He started into the living room and thought he saw some pink hair on the couch. He approached the furniture and saw that Lightning appeared to be asleep. Riku smiled softly, unable to help himself.

Lightning wasn't asleep, only resting. So she heard Riku's soft footsteps and sensed him nearby, also believing she felt his gaze on her. But she didn't bother speaking up, feeling like if she did, it would take away the peaceful aura between her and Riku.

Riku took a seat in the chair nearby, giving him a clear view of the young woman resting on the couch. He set his elbows on his knees and clasped his hands, his eyes still on her. She was beautiful, but she wasn't his until she decided that was so. It was just the way things had to be.

Light heard Riku take a seat, and judging by the soft creaking, she knew which seat it was. And she definitely felt Riku's gaze on her now. "You're bored enough you're going to sit there and watch me?" she asked softly, smirking and opening her eyes to see Riku.

Riku smirked a little, hiding his surprise at the fact that Lightning was actually awake. "Does it bother you?" he asked softly, tilting his head as he lifted an eyebrow, playing along. If it did, he'd stop. But if not, well, he was okay with doing it for a little longer.

Lightning's smirk remained, the girl shaking her head a little. "Guess not. I should be used to it by now, after all." For a while when she had terrible luck with Maleficent, she would always wake up to Riku staring at her.

Riku's smirk turned into a crooked smile, the boy just gazing at Light. He wasn't offended by what she said, since it referred to what he did in the past. He always looked at her. Riku could hardly take his eyes off of her.

"You know, I always used to wonder whether or not you actually slept at nights," Light said softly, rolling onto her back and looking up at the ceiling as her smile started to fade. It seemed odd she would always wake up to Riku looking at her and not sleeping himself. She remembered how tired he appeared when she was weak and in his care.

"I did," Riku said with a small nod, his smile slowly fading away until it was gone. "I just woke up before you did." He was always there, just to make sure she was alright. He was an early riser anyway.

"Mm," Light hummed with a small nod, setting her hands on her stomach as she gazed upwards. It was just luck that they were awake at the same time, then. And to think she and Riku were just friends at that time...But he said he had feelings for her then. Looking back, she could see it.

Riku didn't look away from Light, gazing at her while he could. He couldn't look at her so...longingly when they were working. It would cause suspicion, and that could put Light's job in jeapordy. Riku wasn't about to ruin that for her.

Lightning turned her head, looking over at Riku and seeing how intently he stared at her. Sometimes, she felt like he was looking right through her, through her mask and to who she really was. But, she was trying not to wear much of a mask around him in the first place. She wanted to let him in.

Riku remembered how angry he'd seen Light the first day of training. That was a side of her that he'd never experienced personally, because he'd seen a gentler side of Lightning. A side that none of the other cadets would ever see...not like he did.

"What're you thinking?" Light asked softly, seeing how Riku didn't shift his gaze at all when she looked at him. He must have been thinking deeply about something.

"...I'm thinking about you," Riku replied honestly. He wasn't going to hide such a fact from Lightning. If someone was thinking of him, he would want them to admit it to him as well. But, he didn't want to lie and say it was nothing, because it was something. Really something.

"I figured that, since you were staring at me," Light said, some amusement coming through in her voice. What was he thinking about her specifically? Was it something he could share?

Riku smirked weakly, nodding slightly. Kairi always told him it was rude to stare, but he never really paid any mind. He did what he wanted most of the time. Besides, it was hard not to stare at Lightning. For obvious reasons.

"You gonna give me some details on those thoughts or just keep staring?" Lightning asked, smirking at Riku while keeping her comfortable position on the couch. She was curious as to what was going on in his head.

"Hmph," Riku laughed once behind closed lips, his smirk still in tact. He wouldn't mind either, so he decided on doing both: telling Light, but still staring. "...I'm thinking that I need to stare while I can. I can't during other days." The cadets would notice.

"That's right," Light said, nodding faintly and looking to the ceiling as her smile started to fade away. "Tomorrow, it's back to school, cadet." They would be with the whole crew again. And she still had to plan what they were doing. Crap.
