Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku tightened his grip on his blade, seeing the Heartless stalking toward him while the crowd on the beach dispersed. "They're here because of me, Light," he said again. "There's something I forgot to tell you about the Keyblade..." He frowned, his serious eyes finding hers. "It's a homing beacon."

Light furrowed her eyebrows slightly, shifting her gaze to the Heartless moving in towards her and Riku. "A homing beacon..." she repeated softly. She never would have guessed. So...the danger was here because the Heartless sensed Riku's Keyblade here?
Riku knew what he had to do...and that was to leave. Immediately. A Heartless jumped at him then, a Neoshadow, and he slashed at it with a cry. He knew his identity was out in the open now, but it was too late. He had to defeat the Heartless, even if it put his own well-being in danger.

Lightning saw a Heartless lunge at Riku's back, and she placed herself between the Neoshadow and Riku, swinging her weapon at it and defeating it in mighty blow while also protecting Riku. They could handle these Heartless. That was all they could focus on right now.
Riku saw a few Heartless coming at him at once, and he knew he had to get rid of them before they went in for the kill. He summoned the Dark power to his left hand, his skin glowing a bright blue. He then grunted, shooting off Dark Aura at the two Neoshadows, stunning them before he slashed at another that came at him from the side. This was going to be chaotic.

Light slashed through a few shadows, though she was forced to get a little further away from Riku as the fight raged on. And that was when she spotted another group of Heartless that appeared to be stalking something. A group of small children were running for their lives, away from the Heartless. No! She couldn't get there in time, so she shifted Paradigms, casting Aero and creating a strong tornado that sucked up the Heartless. She just revealed she could use magic, but she didn't care. She could never forgive herself if she let children get hurt.
Riku winced and jumped back, glancing down at the deep gash in his arm before he blocked another attack from a Heartless. He grunted, pushing it away. He had no choice. "Lightning!" he called, his back to her as he focused on swinging at another Heartless. He had to go.

Lightning grunted, using more magical spells to destroy the Heartless. "What?" she hollered in return, glancing at Riku before she slashed through another Heartless. There were so many of them...
"I've gotta go!" Riku called, glancing over his shoulder. He regretted that move, however, when a Neoshadow jumped on him and forced him to the ground. He rolled backward, so he pinned the Heartless down. He then stabbed it in the chest, releasing a captured heart into the sky.

That response definitely wasn't what Light expected to hear. "W-what?" she said again, though she heard him. He had to leave? Why?! She didn't want him running out of her life. The thoughts distracted her, letting a Heartless grab at her arm and try to drag her down. She grunted, falling down to one knee as she shifted her sword into a gun and shot it off her other arm, forcing it to vanish.
Riku pushed himself up, and he flung his Keyblade at a row of Heartless, defeating them as his weapon came back around to him. "There's no other choice!" he hollered. "If I leave, so will they!" They were tracking him; he brought them here. He had to go.

"B-but?!" Light tried to think of words to protest, but she couldn't focus on speaking while fighting such an overwhelming number of Heartless. She and Riku were being overtaken, but they could beat them if they worked together, couldn't they? Together was exactly what she wanted to be with him. Always.
Riku saw that he was momentarily clear, so he started toward Lightning to help her out. He shot Dark Aura at one of the Heartless that leapt for her back. He had to stop advancing toward her, however, when a group of Heartless appeared in front of him, blocking his way. This was his fault...He couldn't risk putting her in any more danger. He had to go.

Lightning cut through a Heartless that was by her, looking up and seeing the line of Heartless that separated her from the person she loved. "Riku!" She started running in that direction, feeling desperate. She didn't want him to go.
"No, Claire, stop!" Riku cried, stepping forward. That movement triggered attacks by the Heartless, who leaped at him. He held one hand out in front of him, casting his shield. She had to understand...He didn't want to leave, but he had to. For her safety.

Claire grunted, skidding to a halt when Riku ordered her not to come closer. She felt the emotions rising up in her heart, emotions of fear, disappointment, and worry. She should have told Riku her feelings earlier. Now...it was too late.
Riku swung at the Heartless that came at him just as his shield disappeared, sending one into the water to his side before he caused another to disappear for good. He caught the look on Light's face briefly, his eyes locking with hers. I can't stay. If he didn't leave, the Heartless would put this world into Darkness. He couldn't have that happening. Not to Claire...Lightning, or Serah and Snow.

Lightning's eyes were locked on Riku's, the Heartless not bothering her. ...Come back when it's safe. She couldn't leave this world because of her duty to the Guardian Corps, and she couldn't run off without talking to Serah. She wanted to be with him even if it meant leaving her world, but she couldn't leave right now.
Riku glanced at the Heartless, the boy taking a step back before his eyes found Lightning again. "...I'm sorry," he said. He hadn't meant for this to happen. He just wanted to be with her, but now he couldn't be.

Light shook her head faintly, subconsciously taking a small step forward and getting closer to the Heartless. Don't say that... This wasn't his fault. He hadn't brought the Heartless here on purpose.
Riku stepped back again, seeing the Heartless coming toward him with the same slow movement. He tightened his grip on his Keyblade as his eyes locked with the ones that belonged to the one he loved. ...I love you, he wanted to say, but Riku couldn't say it. Not before he left.

Light blinked when she heard people hollering, and she looked over her shoulder to see some military lieutenants rushing over towards her and Riku. They would arrest him if he stayed; magic was seen as a threat to the government. They would imprison him if they caught him.
Riku's eyes darted to the people running in, and he knew instantly by their attire that they were soldiers. Time to go. But first... He had to distract the Heartless. Riku grunted, shooting Dark Aura at them to catch their attention. They turned to him and hissed before advancing in his direction. Riku tightened his grip on his Keyblade and threw it up into the air. As it transformed into his glider, he hit the button on his armguard, summoning his armor. It was time he took his leave.

Lightning lifted an arm to shield her eyes from the bright light, some of the men behind her doing the same. They stopped several yards away from her, too stunned to do anything to stop Riku. Good. He had to get out of here.
Once Riku's armor covered his form, his glider appeared next to him, ready for takeoff. He climbed on immediately, though he shot another Dark attack at a Heartless with his hand when it tried to stop him. It was stunned, and he glanced briefly at Lightning before he took off. He soared into the sky, summoning a portal that he disappeared through only a second later.
