Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light heard one of the men cry out that Riku got away, and Lightning quickly realized they were only concerned with him, not the Heartless. The Heartless vanished once Riku was gone anyway, leaving Lightning alone on the beach with all the lieutenants. This wasn't going to be good. They knew Riku was an outsider, and they knew that he lived with her. Now she was going to be scrutinized.

Lieutenant Carson, one of the soldiers that was now on the beach after hearing of the attack, kept his gun supported in both of his hands as he looked to the woman standing on the beach. "Officer Farron!" he called, his voice strict. What was going on?

Lightning briefly shut her eyes, her back to the Lieutenants. This guy never did like her; he believed she was always keeping secrets. She put her sword back in its case and turned around, saluting him and the other men. She had to do that; formality towards higher-ranking people was a big deal in the Guardian Corps.

Carson nodded once to Lightning, seeing a few other of the Lieutenants do the same. "What's going on here?" he asked, initiating the interrogation. Those things... What were they? "Have the l'Cie broken out again?"

  • Author
"No, sir," Lightning said, lowering her arm to her side and standing up tall as she looked mainly at Carson. "Those were monsters." Just not monsters that Carson or any of the other Lieutenants would know about, since they never left Cocoon.

Carson's eyebrows furrowed. What kind of monsters? The only monsters on Cocoon were those wretched l'Cie, and the wildlife on Gran Pulse. What did Officer Farron know?

"Officer Farron," Lieutenant Amador said, stepping forward a small step when Carson just glared at Lightning. "The young man that ran off was your cadet. And he used magic. Is he a l'Cie?" If he was, Amador would be upset. He had really liked Riku.

"No, sir," Lightning said again, looking to her Lieutenant. "I'm not sure what you saw, but...It wasn't magic." She just lied to her Lieutenant! She had never done that before.

"It's doubtful that the people who witnessed the attack would lie about such a thing," another soldier, Lieutenant Burg, stated stoicly. "We saw the power that left the man's hands ourselves." Officer Farron wasn't being truthful, when she really needed to be.

"...He has technology at his hands that is unfamiliar to us, sir," Lightning said, trying something else. Lying in the military was something that could get her imprisoned, but she had to cover for Riku. People weren't mean to know about the Keyblade. "It wasn't magic, just advanced technology that he created himself."

"Had you known about this technology around the time the cadet joined the Corps?" Burg asked following Lightning's statement. Advanced technology? If this was the truth, it violated the rules of the Corps. If they didn't know about technology, it wasn't allowed in the Corps.

  • Author
"No, sir," Lightning said, her gaze on Burg now. "I just found out earlier today." She wasn't sure if they would believe that lie or not, even if Lightning was a good liar. She was going to get in deeper trouble for each lie she spun.

Carson turned his head, looking to the other Lieutenants. "This all seems questionable," he said to them. "For precaution, we're taking you in for questioning, Farron." He looked back to her as he said this, knowing that they couldn't do this here. Crowds were gathering.

Lightning furrowed her eyebrows slightly. "No need to sugar-coat everything, sir," she said. Taking her in for questioning was another way to say that she was going to be imprisoned until she gave them the truth. "You're arresting me because you don't trust me, and you never have."

"I always knew you were clever, Officer Farron," Carson replied with a smart smile. "But your intelligence is being wasted with your attempts at covering up for your cadet." He lowered his gun, putting it in his large holster on his belt. "Let's not make a scene, now. Come with us."

  • Author
Light saw Lieutenant Amador's expression out of the corner of her eye, and he clearly didn't want her to be arrested. But it was going to happen whether he liked it or not. "What am I being charged with?" Lightning asked, her gaze locked on Carson.

"The use of magic and hiding a fugitive in your home, as well as placing him into the Guardian Corps," Carson said, approaching Officer Farron. "You've put us all in jeapordy, Farron. For that, you'll be taken into custody."

  • Author
They saw me use magic? Lightning thought, furrowing her eyebrows and not moving away from Carson. Yeah, that was bad. But she wasn't the one who placed Riku in the Corps, so Carson was way off on that accusation. But there was nothing she could do until she could speak to somebody who would actually listen to her. She had to go in willingly or face worse charges.

Carson moved in on Lightning calmly, taking out some handcuffs and standing behind her. He locked them around her wrists and then grabbed hold of her upper arm. "Let's go, Farron," he said, looking at her with slight disappointment and disapproval, starting across the sand.

Claire Farron held back a "hmph", going along with Carson and the other Lieutenants willingly. Now that the Heartless were gone, she saw even more people on the beach than there had been before the attack. She even believed she saw some of her cadets amongst the crowd who was watching her get arrested. She locked her jaw and looked ahead, hands curling into light fists. This process wasn't going to be fun.

Lieutenant Burg turned starting back up the beach so they could return to headquarters. "Nothing to see here, folks," he said to the people gathered around. "Everything's alright. Enjoy the rest of your day." He then passed them, the crowd creating some room so all of the Lieutenants and Officer Farron could leave the area and take her in for questioning.

  • Author
Nothing to see? Everything's alright? Don't make me laugh, Light thought, continuing to keep her gaze forward. It wasn't every day an officer of the Guardian Corps was arrested, especially not in a public place. Everything most certainly was not alright if the Corps was desperate enough to arrest her while in a public place. The media would enjoy this story, that was for sure.

A day later...

"Psst! This way." A young man waved his fellow comrades along, no longer dressed in his uniform. A few walked ahead of him, around a corner, and he followed suit. They already fixed the cameras, that way no one could tell that they were breaking in. Today, Officer Farron's cadets were breaking her out of her prison.

Light sat on the bed in her cell, having her own "cage" instead of sharing it with another inmate. The Lieutenants all took turns questioning her yesterday, but she still didn't spill the truth. So today, they were bringing in somebody who was extremely skilled in interrogations. It would have a lot of physical pain involved, but Lightning could stand it. She had to, for Riku's sake. Nobody could find out about the Keyblade or the existence of worlds other than Cocoon and Gran Pulse. This was a secret she had to keep.

The cadets approached the hall that their Officer was trapped in, and the leader of the group approached the door to her cell. It wasn't like a regular cell, with only bars; it was a room with a high-security door. "We're gonna have to unlock it," he whispered hoarsely, looking back at his fellow cadets. "Any ideas?"

  • Author

"Smash it?" one of the cadets said in return, shrugging faintly while he also stayed quiet. He was the cadet who always wanted to fight with his fists, and the one who flirted with the officer. He wanted to get her out of the cell as soon as possible, but using his fists against technology probably wouldn't help much.

I have a serious problem, Lightning realized. As long as Carson was around, he'd set her up for interrogations and not for trial. There was a chance that she would never be shown justice. If she had thought through this yesterday, maybe she wouldn't have come in so willingly. But where would she have run to if she did resist arrest? She had nowhere.
