Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"We're not stupid," Darren said, a deep frown on his lips. "We know who you are and what you can do, magic included. We want to see what exactly makes you tick, if you catch my drift." They were going to keep her here, and do some experiments.

Lightning grunted, pulling out her sword and letting it expand in front of her. "I'll let you know right now what makes me 'tick'," she said, eyes narrowed. She knew what Darren was really saying, but she would give them some other opinion. "Brats like you thinking you can take me down." She was a warrior. She could beat some teenagers. ...Hopefully.

Zane reached for his other gun, smirking as Darren reached behind a counter and grabbed his bow and arrow. He then looked to the others, seeing them take out their weapons as well. "Brats? Or soldiers, Officer Farron?" She trained them, after all. And now she was going to fall to her own trainees.

Lightning's eyebrows furrowed further, her grip on the gunblade tightening. Darren used a bow and arrow...the boy who looked like Zane had guns, Kamon had his fists, and Gual had his ax. They really were the same people who fought with Warp in the future. The only person missing was--

"Just be sure not to kill her," Rena said to her friends, stepping out of the shadows with a sword in hand. Now it was eight against one, and seven of them were trained by Lightning. Rena had been working in the background to help them reach today instead of going into the army. "A dead l'Cie is no good to us."

Darren strung his bow, and he pulled out an arrow and lined up his shot. "Heh," he laughed softly. "She looks surprised." He wasn't sure why, but it was alright. It didn't matter. She was theirs.

"...You want a taste of my magic?" Lightning asked, glaring at the group. "Then you got it." She shifted Paradigms and prepared a spell, opening her free hand and releasing some fireballs at the teens. She would need magic in this fight.

Zane dodged the fire, rolling to the side. He then fired off his guns when he was on one knee, his aim directly on Lightning. They couldn't kill her, but they could wound her bad enough to where she would be easy to handle.

The fight lasted a while, since Lightning could fight, defend herself, and cure herself. But she couldn't shift Paradigms to become a Medic, because then she was defenseless against attacks. She couldn't win this fight. She winced when she felt the broad side of a sword knock the side of her head, knocking her down to the ground and making her lose her grip on the weapon, and unconsciousness. The battle for her freedom...was over.

Darren had been in the middle of placing another arrow on his bow when the hit was dealt, and he looked to his comrades with a proud smile. "Good job, everyone," he said. She was theirs now. "Let's get her ready for some testing."

A few days later

Serah Farron was home alone, currently on the phone with Lieutenant Amador. They spoke daily about Lightning's current status, and Serah feared for her sisters life. This was all so terrible. She was crying almost all the time, even shedding tears now. Lightning was in grave danger, and nobody could save her.

Riku flew into Cocoon's atmosphere, but he knew that he had to be stealthy about it. So he summoned a portal to be just by Lightning's house. He traveled toward the balcony, which would give him easy access to the home. He jumped off his glider, which disappeared before he dismissed his armor. Riku saw Serah just through the glass door, and he knocked on it. It'd been a few days, but he wanted to make sure Lightning was alright.

Serah looked towards the door when she heard the knock, seeing Riku there. He was back? She lifted her free hand and wiped at her tears briefly as she stood up, heading towards the door while staying on the phone. "Just...let me know if anything comes up," she said softly to Amador as she opened the door for Riku. She had to know where her sister was.
Riku stepped into the house, his eyes on Serah as he closed the sliding door. Her eyes were all red and puffy, and she sounded sad. What happened? Where was Light?
  • Author
"Thanks," Serah said softly in response to Lieutenant Amador, the man promising Serah would know everything that was going on. "Bye." She pulled the phone away from her ear and pushed a button, turning it off before she set it down on a nearby counter.
Riku took a small step into the room, but he didn't go far. "Serah," he said softly. She looked upset, which set off his nerves. It was Lightning, wasn't it? "What's going on?"
  • Author
Serah shook her head softly, lifting her hands and wiping at her eyes a little before she looked back to Riku. "A lot has happened in the past few days," she said softly. It would take a few minutes to catch him up.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed a little more, but he didn't say anything. A lot of things...because of him? That was the only conclusion he could come to. But...where was Lightning?
  • Author
"I only know bits and pieces of the story," Serah said, faintly shaking her head again. "But Lightning was arrested soon after you and the monsters left. I think it was because she probably lied to her commanding officers to cover for you." Serah knew Riku could use magic, but the rest of the government hadn't known that. And they probably still didn't, since Lightning would cover for him.
Riku blinked, his body tensing at the news. She...lied, for him? "What?" he said without thought. Lightning was arrested, because of what he did? That was stupid!
  • Author
Serah nodded faintly. "Lightning was only in custody for a day when a group stormed into the jail and broke her out. It seemed like she went willingly. But...I don't understand why she would be arrested without a fight and then fight her way out of a strongly-guarded jail, even if she did have help. Lieutenant Amador thinks Lightning realized she wouldn't get a fair trial because another Lieutenant in charge of the case has always been against her."
"So...she's gone?" Riku asked, his eyes narrowing as he tried following. That was what he got out of this, but where was she? Lightning was in trouble because of him...and he hated it.
  • Author
"Yes," Serah said with another small nod. "But if she was just hiding from the government, she would have contacted me somehow. Since the jailbreak, more research has been done on the crew that helped her. ...They're terrorists, Riku. And Lightning hasn't been seen or heard from since the jailbreak, so...Everyone's sure that she's their hostage." Tears started welling again, this situation so horrific Serah could hardly take it.
Riku saw the tears in Serah's eyes, and he fought past the shock within him as he approached her. He set a hand on her shoulder, looking down at her. "I'll handle this," he said, hiding any trace of worry or sadness in his voice, though he was sure it was evident in his eyes. "I did this... I'll find her."
  • Author
Serah shook her head faintly. "This would have happened no matter what," she said. "The people joined the Corps as cadets to get close to Lightning so somehow, they could capture her. It was coincidence that this involved Lightning covering for you and going to jail." So it wasn't Riku's fault.
Riku shook his head. "It doesn't matter," he said softly. "I just gave them an easier route." He would look for Lightning, and he wouldn't stop until he found her. She was too precious to him to lose, and to Serah too.
