Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku turned his head to look down at Lightning, but he kept quiet. "Shh," he shushed her gently, keeping his arms around her. "I've got you. Just stay with me." He found her, and even if footsteps were approaching, he wasn't leaving her.

It is him, Lightning thought, continuing to lean into Riku and stay quiet as he told her to do through the shushing. She knew he would come. She knew that he would be able to get her out of this situation that she herself walked into.

Darren walked into the room, a few of his friends with him so they could continue experiments on Lightning. But he stopped short when he saw that someone was in the room with her. "Hey!" he cried. What was going on here!?

Riku's eyes widened slightly at the voice, his head turning sharply to look toward the door. He saw a few teens his age, and he didn't hesitate pushing the button on his armguard and shielding himself. He would be Light's shield too, no matter what.

Light continued leaning into Riku with her eyes shut, though she sensed Darren and a few others in the room. But they weren't all there, were they? No...they never all came in at once. There were probably only four in here, including Darren. Since he was the leader, he was always there.

Riku wasn't surprised when someone shot at him, having pulled their gun out of its holster instantly. The bullet only bounced off his metal armor, something he was happy about. He picked Lightning up, sweeping her off her feet before he ran over to a desk in the room, putting her behind it as he heard Darren give orders. He was supposed to be killed, but that wasn't happening. Not today.

Darren wasn't an idiot. He knew that his arrows wouldn't pierce the armor if a bullet couldn't, which was why he ordered his three friends to handle this. He saw the guy in armor stand back up and summon his blade, and Darren instantly knew this was the guy that left Cocoon a while ago, those creatures having been with him before.

Light leaned against the desk, the desk enough to keep her hidden from the view of the people in the room. She peeked her eyes open for the first time in a while and looked over, seeing Riku standing beside her with his Keyblade in his grasp. She knew him; he wouldn't leave a comrade to die. He'd fight until he couldn't anymore. She just hoped he could defeat three at once.

Riku cried out, swinging at the last teenager. Throughout the fight, he managed to take down the other two who had been ordered to end his life. However, they got that fate instead of him. Now it was down to one more, other than Darren. He didn't like killing anyone, but he had no choice; these people were a threat to this world, and to Lightning. Riku grunted, thrusting his Keyblade into the kid's stomach before jerking it out. The guy fell to the ground with one last breath, his life gone.

Darren's eyes widened, the boy still standing by the door. His friends... They were dead! He glared at Riku, who stared at him from behind his helmet. "You'll pay for this!" he hollered with fury, before he left the room, sprinting to tell his friends they had to go. Right away.

They're going to flee, Lightning realized, remaining behind the desk. Fortunately for her, this was where they put her gunblade after taking it away from her, so she had the chance to strap the case and weapon back onto her. But now she was just leaning against the furniture with her eyes shut, trying to regain some strength.
Riku watched the kid vanish, but he immediately ran across the room to the woman he loved. He knelt down next to her, seeing that she hadn't moved. "Light," he said softly. He reached for her, his Keyblade gone now. "I'm taking you home."

Light opened her eyes, looking over at Riku beside her and seeing him in his armor. "Thanks," she said softly, that being the only thing she could think of to say. Riku went out of his way to save her again, didn't he? Like he had done with Maleficent. That witch is still out there, isn't she?
Riku didn't respond, instead picking Lightning up and holding her in his arms. There was a door ajar that led outside, and he took the opportunity to use it. He hurried outside and set Lightning's feet down on the ground so he could summon his glider. It was time to get her back to Serah.

Why am I living on Cocoon anyway? Lightning wondered. Last she remembered, she was living in Destiny Islands. She had been staying in Riku's house because of the Darkness being in her system. She was confused, things not lining up. The only thing that lined up was that Riku was in her life, and he saved her.
Riku got onto his glider, and this time, he set Lightning in front of him so both of her legs were on one side of the glider and his arms acted as a barricade. She wouldn't fall off, and he could keep an eye on her this way. He flew over the forest and started toward her house, only slightly aware that he needed to watch out for the Guardian Corps on his way.

Lightning leaned her head on Riku's shoulder, the wind blowing her light pink hair a little. Had she ever sat on Riku's glider like this? No, she didn't think so. She didn't recall it happening before. She recalled feelings of being secure in Riku's arms, but...it was only her imagination. She had no memory of the events actually happening.
Riku managed to reach Lightning's house without being spotted, carefully avoiding the Corps whenever he could. He guided his glider toward the balcony, like he had a month ago when he went to look for her. Serah should have been home.

Light remained still, sitting in Riku's lap on the glider. They landed, so she assumed that they reached their destination, which was home. And she was glad to be there, and away from Darren, but she was most relieved to be in Riku's safe arms. He was only her friend, and yet she had such strong feelings for him. Why?
Once Riku landed, he tucked his arms around and under Lightning, picking her up as he got off his glider. He approached the door, which was open for some fresh air. When he was inside, he called for Lightning's sister. "Serah!"

Serah blinked at the call, having been in her bedroom folding clothes. Riku was here? He normally didn't come this time of the day. Did that mean...? She ran out of her room, reaching the living room where she saw two people in just a few seconds. She halted once she understood, a gasp leaving her as her eyes went to her sister in Riku's arms. "Lightning!"

Light peaked her eyes open, seeing her sister standing on the other side of the room. Serah...What a sight for sore eyes. "Hey, sis," she said softly, seeing her sister get emotional already. Light would have been emotional too if she hadn't already spent all her emotions earlier.

Riku still had his armor on, but he was glad Serah still recognized him. He glanced down at Lightning before walking further into the room and placing the woman he loved gently on the couch. She would be alright. He was sure of it.

Serah watched Riku set Lightning down on the couch, having recognized him because of his voice earlier. And just in general, she could tell it was him. As soon as Light was sitting up on the couch, she sat down next to her and embraced her, squeezing her eyes shut and holding her sister.

Light furrowed her eyebrows slightly when Serah held her, her body aching from the torture. But she lightly wrapped her arms around her sister anyway, this being the kind of sacrifice she made for her sibling. She realized she was away for a month, at least with being held captive. The rest of her view of time was skewed because of the memory loss.

Riku stood back and watched the embrace before him, the boy lifting is hand and lightly pressing the button on his armor to dismiss it. Once his helmet was gone, he could clearly see the cuts and bruises on Light's face and arms and legs, which bothered him. He would have to heal her soon.

Lightning grunted softly, an image popping into her head too quickly for her to identify before vanishing. Serah pulled back from the embrace immediately and asked what was wrong, but Lightning just shook her head. "Nothing," she murmured, lifting a hand to her head. Why did she just have that painful flash? Was it a result of the drugs Darren gave her, or something else?
Riku summoned his Keyblade upon seeing Lightning put a hand to her head, and he casted a Cure spell on her, thinking her head hurt. Even if it didn't, her bruises and cuts would heal up too.
  • Author
Light shut her eyes briefly when the spell washed over her, her hand remaining on her head for a few more moments. The pain faded, but she didn't think that the spell was responsible for that; it probably would have worn off anyway. "Thanks," she said softly to Riku, regardless of what her thoughts were about her head. Other pains in her body faded, so the spell worked in some areas. She turned to look at him, her expression turning surprised. When did he get a haircut?
Riku was about to reply to her gratitude, the boy also summoning his weapon away. But Lightning's look made him arch an eyebrow. "...What?" he asked softly. Why was she looking at him like that?
