Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora walked in, peaking past the chair. His eyes widened at what he saw, a stunned grunt leaving him. Before he even realized what he was doing, he ran the remaining distance in the room and knelt down the by armor and the Keyblade that stood upright in the floor next to it. This was what he was supposed to come here for. This armor...It was Aqua's.
Riku's eyes fell on Sora when he ran forward, the older boy arching an eyebrow in question. "Sora?" he said. Without another word he ran a few feet further into the room, stopping next to the big white chair. When his eyes found Sora again, they widened at what his friend was kneeling by. Was that...armor?

Sora didn't respond immediately to Riku's call, his eyes stuck on the armor. He didn't even feel like he instinctively wanted to respond to the name "Sora"; he felt like somebody else entirely that moment, and his emotions went felt like they belonged to somebody else as well. At that realization, he blinked, turning his head to Riku by the chair. "These are Aqua's," he instantly said, just knowing it.
Riku's eyes narrowed at the name, his gaze moving from Sora to the pieces of metal armor on the floor. Aqua...as in the name from the letter? She was one of the fallen Keyblade Warriors. Riku wasn't sure how Sora even knew that was hers, but he didn't question it; he seemed like he really knew what he was talking about.

Sora looked over the armor, and he somehow felt as if he was looking at what was left of a friend. But those feelings were so strange to him...Why was he suddenly feeling choked up? He tightened his grasp on the good luck charm and reached forward, setting his hand on a part of the armor and shutting his eyes. Aqua...tell me what happened.
Riku took a small step forward, setting his hand on the arm of the white chair. He watched Sora in silence, wondering what his friend was doing. This was bizarre, but at the same time believable.

Sora saw a picture in front of him, some of Aqua's lingering memories connecting with him in a way that he could interpret them. She was on some kind of ship, and she was flying through the Realm of Darkness to save a falling friend. She was saving Terra. When she managed to get a grip on Terra's hand, she tried flying back up towards the Light, but it was fading too quickly, and her ship couldn't fly quickly enough. She transformed out of her armor and kept it around Terra to protect him, but then...she gave him her Keyblade.
"...Sora?" Riku said after a minute of silence, furrowing his eyebrows. His voice only echoed off the round walls. He was starting to get a...weird feeling in the pit of his stomach, and he wasn't sure why.

"I'm with you," Aqua had said to Terra, who was unconscious and embraced in her armor. And then she used some kind of magic to propel her friend towards the light, and she only began to sink deeper into the Darkness. Aqua...she...sacrificed herself.
Riku took a small step forward. "Sora," he called again, this time his voice coming out much firmer. Why wasn't he responding?

Somewhere, Sora heard the voice of his friend, but again he started feeling like he wasn't Sora at all. He felt like somebody who had just found out a dear friend was gone forever. And their emotions were present in his heart, making him feel like Aqua was very close to him. But Sora wasn't close to her. So where were the feelings coming from?
The feeling Riku had in his gut wasn't a mistake, because something really was going on here. The older boy took a few strides toward his friend until he was right beside him. He placed his hand on Sora's shoulder and shook him. "Sora," he said for the third time, trying to get his friend's attention.
  • Author
Sora opened his eyes when the shaking of his shoulder disrupted his thoughts, a new one crossing his mind. That's right, I'm Sora, he thought to himself, slightly weirded out that he had to tell that to himself. He looked over at Riku, his hand coming off the armor and onto his knee. "I know where she is," he immediately said.
Riku gave Sora a confused look, because that was exactly how he felt. What just happened, and how exactly did Sora know where Aqua was? "...Where?" he finally asked, taking his hand off Sora's shoulder.
  • Author
Sora looked back down at the armor, his eyes then wandering to the Keyblade next to it. "Stranded," he responded. "In the Realm of Darkness." She had fallen into the Darkness because she had sacrificed herself so Terra could be in the Light. But...where was Terra now? He was in the Realm of Light; why didn't he ever show up anywhere?
Riku frowned at that, his eyes moving to look at the armor on the floor. So she was in the Realm of Darkness? If they wanted to find her, they would have to go there. But...that was far too dangerous for them now. They couldn't possibly go.
  • Author
Sora set his hands on the ground and rose to his feet, his gaze shifting to Riku when he was upright. Obviously the Realm of Darkness was too large to search, and the danger there would be too much. And plus, they would fade away into the Darkness eventually, wouldn't they? But...did that mean that it was too late for Aqua? She had been there for a long time, but...No, it wasn't too late. He knew that she was there.
"...You sure she's there?" Riku asked, turning his eyes to Sora then. If he was right about where she was...and if she was still alive, they had no choice but to go get her. Of course, they couldn't directly do that. They would have to take another route.
  • Author
"Positive," Sora said with a nod, not missing a beat when he gave Riku his response. Aqua was there, and she was alive. She was waiting...She needed somebody to come save her. And Sora was determined to bring her back to this Realm. Somehow.
"Mm," Riku grunted with a nod. After a second, his sights fell back on the armor, and the Keyblade. "We'll have to find her another way. We can't go to the Realm." They would lose themselves, just as Aqua must have lost herself as well. They had no choice but to come up with another idea.
  • Author
"Right," Sora said with a nod, looking back to the armor. What other way was there to get into the Realm of Darkness? Or, in Aqua's case, get out? Was there any way they could make it happen? Obviously they were meant to do something, or else they wouldn't have found out where Aqua was.
Riku closed his eyes, trying to come up with something. Okay, so they found one of the three they were looking for. In order to actually get to her, they had to go to the Realm of Darkness. Except, they couldn't, or they would lose themselves in the process and the mission would be a failure.

Sora looked down at the ground, recalling when he and Riku had been stuck in that Realm a while ago. It was right after the defeat of Xemnas, and they had been led out of the Realm of Nothingness into the Realm of Darkness, on that shore. They had spoken for a while there without knowing their future, but then things had taken a turn.
Riku sighed, bringing up a hand to his head. "There has to be some other way," he said, opening his eyes and looking back down at Aqua's armor. They had to bring her back. The thing was that he didn't know how...

"The Door to Light," Sora said, thinking of that when Riku finished speaking. When the two of them were stuck there, the Door to Light was what led them back to Destiny Islands and the Realm of Light. That was their answer.
