Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"...You mean it?" Riku asked, lifting an eyebrow slightly. He wasn't sure how, but things always did come out in strange ways. If Lightning said she cared...who was he to tell her she was wrong?

"Y-yeah," Lightning said, seeing how Riku's expression still seemed to show disbelief. For some reason, it hurt her that he didn't believe her. She wouldn't say something without meaning it.
Riku's eyes softened a little as he looked at Lightning, a few feet still separating them. He heard that small stutter and saw the look on her face, and he didn't know what to say. So, instead, he nodded once. If she meant it...he would trust her.

Stop being such an open book, Lightning thought to herself, though she was far from being easy to read. But it looked like Riku was looking past her exterior and seeing her. She glanced away, and if her hair wasn't back in a ponytail, she would have probably played with it in self-consciousness.
Riku almost took a step forward, but he hesitated at the last second. If he got closer to Lightning, his emotions would take control of his actions, and it wouldn't be good. He couldn't take advantage of her...ever.

"Um, I guess there's no point in staying in the kitchen," Light mumbled, glancing up at Riku before she started towards the living room. She was tired of standing anyway, so sitting down would be alright. She would go outside if she wasn't worried about Darren and his gang looking for her out there. Even with Riku here...she was scared. That changed since last night.
Riku watched Lightning go, but then he released a soft breath, staying where he was. He lifted a hand to his face and cursed himself. Idiot! Why do you have to be so stupid?

Light entered the living room and went for the couch, sitting down on one side of it. Riku could sit with her if he wanted. She would try not to feel too affected by it all. She just...needed to sort this out. This was a huge, scary roller coaster for her. And it had no end in sight.
Riku would have gone to get some fresh air, but he couldn't go outside of this house during daylight hours; he'd get caught by the guard. But...he couldn't abandon Lightning. Not again. She needed someone...and he had a feeling he was all she had left. But that probably wasn't the best option.

Light blankly reached for the remote and turned on the television, watching it without paying attention to it. How did she lose her memory in the first place? What process did they use? Was there any way she could speed up this recovery?
Riku lowered his hand from his face at the thought, seeing Lightning from where he stood. "Where's the Guardian Corps?" he asked then. Now that she was free from captivity, he imagined they should have come by to ask her questions. Did she tell them he was the one who rescued her? Were they still looking for him anyway?

"They're searching for Darren's crew," Lightning said, continuing to blankly gaze at the television. "They're putting all their efforts into that." Light spoke to Lieutenant Amador yesterday and answered whatever questions she could, but that was all that happened with her. Apparently she was off the hook for whatever crimes she was accused of.
"You're not being questioned?" Riku asked out of curiosity, walking forward a few feet to stand near a chair in the living room. He figured the Corps would have interrogated her about what happened. But, maybe they couldn't because of the memory loss.

"I already was," Light said, looking to Riku when he stopped nearby. That was what she did yesterday during the daytime. It took a while and they prodded her a lot, but she couldn't recall anything. Amador let her off the hook and said he wouldn't bother her; the next time they would be in contact would be when Lightning initiated it.
"...And?" Riku prodded. They weren't lingering around her house, like he thought they would have. Either for him to show up or the people that tortured her the last month. His hands balled into fists briefly, never liking to think of what that month must have been like for her.

Light tilted her head, furrowing her eyebrows slightly in confusion. "And...?" she asked in return, not understanding what Riku was getting at. He'd have to elaborate.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed. "They're letting you off, just like that?" he asked. "No troops are lingering around your property?" For what? Well, for the "cadets" that kidnapped her, or him. That was what.

Light shrugged faintly. "The Corps doesn't like waiting around for an enemy to show up," she said, knowing what Riku was thinking. "They'd rather be out hunting them instead of waiting for them to ambush me here." So hopefully the Corps would take down Darren and his crew before they got to her. Simple as that.
Riku crossed his arms over his chest, grunting slightly in response. He tore his eyes from Lightning's and looked down at the chair next to him, not knowing what to say. He guessed he wasn't that big of a problem, then.

Hopefully they don't know where I live anyway, Light thought, shifting her gaze to the table in front of the couch. Soldiers around the house would have called attention to it; it was best for her to just lay low for a while. So she was basically trapped in her home until they were apprehended. Or killed.
"Does that mean I'm clear to leave?" Riku asked, keeping his eyes down as he spoke to Lightning. If the Corps was focusing on the teens that kept Light hostage, he should have been free to go.
  • Author
Light blinked at the question, having not expected it. But..."Yeah," she answered, keeping her emotion out of her voice and looking to the television. He was free to leave whenever he wanted.
Riku nodded slightly, glancing toward the television. "Good," he said lowly. If he was ever meant to leave, he could. Whenever Lightning wanted him gone, he was off this world.

Lightning pulled up her legs onto the couch in front of her, wrapping her arms around her legs. Do you want to leave? Light opened her mouth to ask that question, but her mouth was suddenly so dry she felt like she wouldn't have a voice. And tears appeared in her eyes out of nowhere. She lowered her head so her face was hidden in her knees, staying silent.
Riku felt tension in the air then, with a little something else mixed in. He closed his eyes, knowing what it was and who those feelings belonged to. It was Lightning...Claire. There was no doubt in his mind that he was the one who caused her to feel that way. He always did something wrong.
