Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Even...if you don't have your memories," Riku continued softly, moving his hand closer to Lightning's cheek, "you're still the same person. You have the same strength and spirit that you did before, and even if a part of you was lost with your memories...I know you'll be okay." She was strong enough. She could get through this.

Light's lips parted in surprise and sadness, her gaze remaining on Riku. "Riku..." her voice was soft, dry. What else was she supposed to say? You have too much faith in me. He made it sound so easy, so simple. But it wasn't.
Riku shook his head when she spoke his name. "Don't say anything," he told her softly. "Just trust me. You're going to be okay, no matter what anyone says or does." Even if he left, she would be strong enough to carry on alone. She had the strength of heart for such a task.

Trust me, Light heard Riku say. He said that before. Somewhere. Sometime. He asked her if she trusted him, and she said yes. Without hesitation, she said yes. And she knew that the answer was still valid now. She trusted him completely.
"...I know you don't remember," Riku said softly, his eyes gentle with a bit of sorrow. "But you've overcome so much. I know you can do this, Light." He moved his other hand, the one on her knee, to rest on the side of her head. "You're sad now, and I wish I could take that away, but I'm not making things any easier. That's why I have to go..."

Light shook her head softly, though she was careful not to make Riku remove his hands. "But..." she said softly, trailing off and not knowing what to say. Riku was making this easier. It was hard too, because it presented different challenges, but she wasn't a total wreck with him around. He helped.
"But nothing," Riku said, shaking his head a little as well. "You deserve better, Lightning. Someone that can help you get through something difficult like this. I'm not doing that." He was presenting her with more problems. "I'm...I'm making you cry." Earlier, when she just looked up at him, he saw the traces of tears in her eyes. He caught it, and that was enough.

Again, Lightning shook her head softly. "This situation makes me want to cry," she said softly. "Not you." True, what he said earlier brought up emotions, but she was overly sensitive. She tried not to blame him for making her nearly lose her composure.
Riku sighed softly, closing his eyes. Was that true, really? Because he sincerely felt that he was the cause of these problems. He always had been, back when he was only fifteen and he opened the Door to his world. How would this be any different?

"You are helping, more than you know," Light said softly, eyes dancing over Riku's face. And she meant that. She had been so relieved to see him yesterday, and he filled her in on everything in her past. And he held her. He didn't know how badly she needed that.
Riku kept his eyes closed, not saying anything. He wanted to believe that, but he was so used to messing things up. Sometimes it was hard for him to believe that he was helping to make things right, especially with someone he loved.

Light released her legs with one arm, keeping the other around them. She lifted a hand and lightly set it on top of Riku's silver hair, the action feeling so...natural. She hadn't even thought about it.
Riku felt himself relax under the touch, which was pretty much involuntary. It felt like it was a reaction he was meant to have. But the urge...he wasn't sure what it meant. He...wanted to kiss Lightning. But, he couldn't do that.

Light lowered her head a little while keeping it on her knees, her eyes falling shut as her face remained right by Riku's. She didn't know what else to say. Riku was upset, and so was she. But she was so lost she had no idea how to set things right. I'm sorry, Riku.
Riku didn't move, the boy holding his breath as he kept his eyes closed. He wanted so many things with Lightning...but they just couldn't happen. A relationship would put more stress on her, and she needed to focus on just herself and her memories for right now.

Light kept her hand on Riku's head, sensing how close his face was to hers still. She moved her head forward a small bit and felt her forehead lightly touch Riku's, and she didn't pull away. This was what her heart wanted. She wanted Riku.
At the touch, Riku's hand moved closer to her cheek. "Light," he exhaled, releasing the air that he'd been holding within his lungs. He wanted her...so badly. But...

Light felt Riku's breath impact her, since she was so close to him. But the way he said her name, she didn't feel compelled to respond to it. She noticed how his hand was closer to resting on her cheek now, and she...liked it. She had to ignore logic for a little and just enjoy Riku's presence. This would all make sense to her later.
Riku wanted to do it, just a little bit. Just a small one. It wouldn't hurt anything. His hand slowly found Light's cheek, his finger brushing over her skin. The last time he had been this close to her... It had been so long ago.

Lightning's heart leaped at the soft touch, even if it wasn't much. The experience was new to her, and that sparked new feelings, even if her heart recalled experiences like this. It was all impossible to explain, but she really, really liked this moment, despite what brought Riku over to her in the first place.
Just one...Riku thought, his mind directing his actions and not his heart. But, what if his heart wanted this too? He couldn't tell, the close proximity between him and Light confusing his thoughts. But he knew he wanted something, and to get it, he moved his face even closer to Light's, his lips barely brushing hers.

Light felt her heart react again to Riku getting even closer. She wasn't in a relationship with him, and she couldn't remember a time when she was, but she wasn't dumb. She knew why he moved forward and lightly touched her lips with his own. And she...was okay with it. Logic told her she would never kiss Riku, but her heart said she would. And did. That was a feeling her heart would never forget.
Riku pulled back slightly, the light contact not even the kiss he'd sought. Not good enough, he thought to himself. He kept his eyes shut and closed the gap completely, his lips coming in full contact with hers.

Light's lips parted slightly and stayed against Riku's, moisture forming behind her closed eyelids. She didn't even know why, but she wanted to cry. Not because Riku's kiss hurt her emotionally some way; it was more the opposite. She wanted to remember him so badly it hurt.
Riku applied light pressure to Lightning's neck, his fingers lingering there on the back of her neck. He didn't stop kissing her, the contact causing him to want more, so he continued with it. He missed the way this felt. It had been too long since they were this intimate.
