Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"I slipped up," Riku realized after a minute, shaking his head as he looked at the space between himself and Lightning. "The kiss... It was a mistake." He took advantage of her right then and there, and as much as he loved the kiss, he regretted it.

"Maybe," Light agreed softly after a few seconds. She knew she wasn't in her right mind and emotions were controlling her a lot. She wasn't sure if that was an okay thing to do or not while her memories were missing. What was she supposed to do until they came back?
Riku looked up at Lightning, his aqua eyes on her face. "...Maybe I should go," he said softly. And really go this time. This couldn't happen again.

Lightning lifted her moist eyes to Riku's again, not bothering to say anything. She already made it pretty clear that she didn't want him to leave. She didn't have anything to add to her argument from before, so she didn't bother repeating herself now. If Riku wanted to go, then he should go.
"You should have Serah come back," Riku said then, his eyes still resting on Light's. He fought the sorrow in his heart, not sure whether it was showing on his face or not. "Just so you're not alone." He would check up on her, but he couldn't stay very long. It obviously created problems.

Lightning nodded softly, though she had no plans to bring Serah back. She was the older sister; she was supposed to be taking care of Serah, not have things work the other way around. And like she told Riku, Light could be ambushed at any time. She wasn't bringing Serah into this.
Riku took another step back, his hands in tight fists. "...I'm sorry," he said one last time, meaning it deeply. He didn't want to leave her, but there was no other choice. If he stayed, she wouldn't be able to focus on her memories, and she didn't want to fight the desires they both shared. It was best that he left.

Light nodded softly again, her pale blue eyes staying on the young man who was moving further and further away from her. He would leave soon; she just knew it. And that was when her heart would shatter.
Riku continued to back up, and when he reached the doorway that would lead toward the balcony outside the next room, he stopped. "...Be strong," he said, swallowing when his voice trembled slightly.

I don't want to be strong, Light thought miserably, though she nodded to Riku for the third time in a row. That was what he needed to hear, or see, since he was leaving. She would survive the best she could.
Riku stared at Lightning for a moment, and when he felt that his emotions would come to the surface, he quickly hit his arm guard. In a brief flash of light his armor appeared, covering his form. I love you, Claire, he mouthed, though she wouldn't be able to tell because of his mask. Riku then forced his feet to turn instead of move forward, the boy heading toward the glass door that would lead him to the balcony.

Lightning didn't catch onto Riku's mouthed words, not that she was meant to. When he was in armor and walking away, she tore her eyes away from him, emotion taking over. She laid down on the couch and curled up into a ball, eyes squeezed shut as she cried. The sobs were soft, since she tried to hold them back the best she could. But like she said earlier, she didn't want to fight anymore.
Riku went outside, shutting the door behind him quietly. He then called to his glider and jumped on, forcing himself not to look back. He couldn't look back, or he would never leave. But he had to, or else Lightning would never get her memories back; he was a distraction. Riku grunted, forcing his glider to take off into the sky, the boy leaving the world in only seconds.

Three days later

It was five days after Lightning was saved by Riku from the torture, and three days since he left her. She hadn't seen him since, and right now, she was wishing that he was in this world. She saw Serah and Snow in the past few days, but they couldn't help her too much. That was why she had gone for a walk to the mountain where she trained her "cadets". And it was there that five ships arrived to meet her. Darren, Rena, Kamon, Zane, and Gual...they had been watching Bodhum for her, and now they found her all alone. She was such an idiot for not being more cautious!

A portal appeared in Bodhum, allowing Riku to fly in near Lightning's house. It was just up ahead, so he went there. He stopped on the balcony, as usual, and knocked on the glass door once his armor was gone. He didn't get an answer, so he tried opening the door himself. Locked. Riku lifted an eyebrow, listening to see if he could hear anything.

Lightning winced when Gual's axe cut her arm, the young woman jumping backwards. She punched Rena with her free hand when she charged at her, her sword in her other hand. She had just one second. Time for some fireworks. She reached into the pouch on her leg and threw an object up into the air, shooting it with her gunblade once it was pretty high up. Multiple colors appeared in the flare, a loud bang also being created from the bullet hitting it. That would alert the Corps to her whereabouts. She just hoped they could make it in time.
Riku turned at the loud bang, his eyes going skyward. It was there that he saw what appeared to be fireworks, and from his time in the Corps (which wasn't long), he knew that it was really a flare. "Lightning?" he voiced aloud without thought, taking a step in that direction on the balcony. He couldn't smell her here, and if she were here, he would catch onto her unique scent. But Riku had nothing, so it had to be her. There was something in his heart telling him so.

"Witch!" Rena shrieked, charging at Lightning once she set off the flare. Now the Corps would come and find them here! They had to get Lightning out of here, quickly. Rena swung her sword at the soldier but had it blocked. She couldn't take her down; they were equal in swordsmanship. Now this was going to get dirty.

Light didn't sense Kamon, the biggest of the teens, moving to get behind her. When he had the chance, he wrapped his arms around the weakened and injured soldier from behind, pinning her arms to her body and lifting her off the ground. "Get off!" she hollered in fury, kicking through air to try and get out of this. But Kamon didn't let her go.

Riku jumped on his glider immediately, not bothering to summon his armor as he left Lightning's house and started toward the area where the flare went off. She was there. He just had this feeling.

Darren only laughed, the boy setting an arrow on his bow. He then pulled it back, releasing the arrow a second after and aiming for Lightning. She was a goner. No way would she get away from them this time.

Lightning cried out when the arrow pierced her right shoulder, not damaging any vital organs but hurting her worse than she already was. She squeezed her eyes shut, her struggle against Kamon weakening. His grasp around her ribcage was so tight she was having trouble breathing. And the pain was making her vision start to blur.

Riku kept his eyes on the area that the flare had come from, and he arrived there soon. He heard some laughter echoing to where he was, though he didn't know who it belonged to. But he did recognize the area. It was where Lightning took them to train.

"One down, one to go!" Darren said with an evil smile. He pulled his other arrow back, aiming for Lightning's opposite shoulder. He released it then, his aim perfect from where he stood.

Light already had her eyes squeezed shut, and they remained that way when the other arrow impacted her. She cried out again, but the cry was muffled when Gual stepped over and placed a hand over her mouth. She dropped her sword because of the pain in that arm, things continuing to get cloudy. Backup wasn't going to get here in time. She was in for another month of torture.

Riku heard a brief sound, but it was enough for him to recognize. Lightning. He dipped his glider toward the mountain, going around a corner and seeing six people, one of them being the person he loved. "Hey!" he cried. They must have been those kids!

Zane turned at the shout, and he instantly glared at the person in the air. He lifted his gun, this one bigger than the last, and shot bullets. No way was this guy ruining things for them.

Lightning opened her pain-filled eyes to see that Riku was here, on his glider. She didn't question how he found her or what he was doing here, not having time to. She whimpered when Kamon squeezed her more tightly, consciousness nearly leaving her altogether. She couldn't take this any longer.

"Darren, we gotta go!" Rena said, looking to him while Gual and Kamon had a grip on Lightning and Zane was handling the other guy who apparently trained with them in the army. Zane could keep Riku occupied while the rest of them slipped away with Lightning.

"Right!" Darren hollered, lowering his bow to look at one of his friends. "Zane, keep him busy." He then looked to the others. "Let's go!" He started for one of the ships, knowing they would have to take off before Riku followed.

Riku's glider got shot too many times by the gun, surprisingly, so Riku was forced to jump off. He rolled upon landing on the ground, though he summoned his Keyblade to him immediately. "Light!"
