Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Gual may have released Lightning when he ran to his ship, but Kamon kept a strong arm wrapped around her stomach while also lifting his hand to cover her mouth. "Riku!" she cried, though it was muffled. Kamon dragged her away and forced her to sit with him on his ship, one arm staying wrapped around her while the other went to the steering wheel. "Riku!" she shouted again now that she could, her voice filled with pain and fear when Kamon's ship lifted off the ground and her sword remained on the ground on the mountain.
Riku stood upright, lifting a hand and reaching out for Lightning instantly. The fear in her voice... It put pain in his heart. But that wasn't the only thing that caused him pain. Riku cried out, falling to one knee when Zane shot him, the bullet impacting his leg and immobilizing him.

Lightning saw the other ships rise, Gual and Rena's included in that. And then they sped off, Light looking back as much as she could to see Riku and Zane. Please...make it out of this. Please save me again. Riku could take on Zane, but he had to hurry with that and get to her, before something bad happened. The arrows in her shoulders were already killing her, sticking out of her body. She was close to passing out.

Zane only smirked at this "Riku", shouldering his larger gun for the time being. "Forget about saving her, dude," he said. "You won't be seeing her again." He wouldn't let him get by him.

Riku grunted, silently casting a cure spell to get the bullet out of his leg. It worked, thankfully. "I wouldn't be too sure of that," he said with a small grunt, looking at Zane when the ships were gone. "I'll save her."

A little later, Light made it back to the building (a different one than last time) conscious, though barely. When they were inside, Gual put duct tape over her mouth and then restrained her by holding her hands behind her back while Rena did something else. She yanked out both arrows at once, making Light scream in pain and shed some tears. But the cry was muffled behind the tape, not that anybody would hear her agony anyway. The only person who could possibly track her down now was Riku.
Riku proved his point to Zane after a battle with the teen, one longer than he would have liked. His last attack had been firing a Dark fireball at the teen, who died upon impact, since he was already too weak. Riku didn't jump on his glider right away, however. Instead, he went to Zane's ship, which should have had coordinates to their hideout. I'll save her.

Gual reached into his pocket and threw a potion over Lightning's head, seeing the wounds heal a little. Not much, but enough. "Can't have you dying on us yet," he said with a small smirk. Kamon smiled faintly himself and started dragging Lightning back towards the wall, where she would be chained with her arms extended to the sides like a cross. She couldn't fight back, too weak and wounded. Even if she did have her weapon, which was left on the mountain where Zane and Riku were, she wouldn't have been able to resist them. They weren't going to torture her this time, though, but he wouldn't tell her that. He'd leave it to Darren.

Darren was busy setting up the machine that would help them wipe out Lightning's memories and use them for themselves. He focused on the screen, typing in a few codes until it was ready. "All set up," he said to his comrades. "Once she's ready, we'll start."

Despite her feeble struggles, Gual and Kamon put her wrists in the chains on the wall, the girl dangling about a foot off the ground. Lightning noticed that computer, her eyebrows furrowed as she looked at it. "What are you doing?" she asked through the tape over her mouth, her voice muffled.

"Nothing that involves torture, if that settles any of your worries," Darren replied, typing in a few more things before pushing a button, turning to Lightning. "We'll just be erasing your memories and collecting them for future use." So they could have the power of a l'Cie.

Light's eyes widened and she tugged at her restraints, though they didn't give in the slightest. They were going to erase all her memories? What Rena said next, though, made her feel sick.

"Your knowledge is all we want. It's easier to just steal it than keep you alive. So once we're done, so is your life." Rena smirked at her, seeing how she took that news. Lightning was doomed.

Darren nodded once, glancing from Rena to their captive. "She's right," he said. "That friend of yours won't be able to help you now. Zane probably finished him off." If not, then it would be too late for Lightning; she'd be dead.

"Yeah right," Lightning spat through her tape, her voice still muffled and almost undecipherable because of it. Riku wouldn't die to Zane. Didn't Darren remember Riku killed three of his friends at once? He could easily take down Zane. ...And hopefully help her.

"It's not like you'll remember him anyway," Darren continued, ignoring that muffled response from Lightning. "Everything you know will be ours in only a few minutes." The button he pushed a moment ago was to start the machine in a certain amount of time. It wouldn't be long now.

"I'll never forget him!" Light cried through the tape, struggling against the restraints as hard as she could. She would never forget Riku! She clung to him before when they were messing with her memories, and she'd try to do the same today. But...Darren said this process would only take a few minutes. Was she strong enough to fight against something that powerful? She had to be. For Riku.

Darren only crossed his arms, his eyebrows furrowing. He could decipher what she said, but it wouldn't be the truth. The machine was going to kick on any minute, and her memories would be gone. All of them.

Riku snuck around the building, lucky enough to have found it thanks to Zane's ship and its coordinates. He held his Keyblade in one hand and Lightning's gunblade in the other; he picked it up just before he left. It was in gun-mode, which meant he would be able to battle from a distance and close range, depending on which weapon he used. He would use both, to save her. He had to.

Light squeezed her eyes shut in pain when she felt an electric current go from the cuffs on her wrists, through her body and to her head, messing with her brain. It was happening! Riku! RIKU!! She was going to lose him!
There was a window open on the side of the building Riku was walking along, and he pressed himself against the wall to get closer to the window. He heard a zapping sound, much like electricity, and some evil laughter. He recognized it immediately. Darren. Riku ground his teeth together and pointed the gunblade through the open window, immediately firing off a chain of bullets. He wasn't going to lose her!

Light heard the bullets come in, but because her eyes were shut, she didn't see Rena, Gual, and Kamon all go to take cover. But for Kamon, he was too late. A lucky shot hit him, making him collapse where he was, dead. The young woman forced her eyes open a little despite the electricity going through her and messing with her mind, trying to suck her memories out of her. She was fighting back, mentally strong enough to.

Darren ducked for cover just like the others, immediately pulling out his bow and arrow. "He's supposed to be dead!" he hollered. "Take him out!" The gun was still going off, but once it was done, they'd get him. He's dead.

"You take him out!" Gual hollered. "You're the distance fighter." He couldn't exactly get him unless he threw his ax, which he wasn't prepared to do.

Lightning squeezed her eyes shut again, in agony. Soft, muffled cries were leaving her lips behind the tape, not that anybody would notice it now. Riku...For just one instant, the picture of him in her mind faded. But she pulled it back up and realized that it was more vivid than it had originally been. And she imagined herself into the picture...in his arms. She could hear herself speak, too. "I made my decision, Riku. I want to be with you, forever." That was what she had prepared herself to say to him before this whole thing.

Darren cursed under his breath. "Cowards!" he cried, peeking over the desk he was hiding behind and pulling his arrow back. He fired one off, going for the window.

Riku ducked, the gunfire halting for the moment. They knew he was there now, so there was no choice but to go in and fight; it wasn't like he was going to run away, anyway. Riku tightened his grip on his Keyblade, feeling its power. He also spun the gunblade in his hand before gripping it tightly as well, feeling as if Lightning's strength and courage was passing on to him just through wielding the weapon.

Rena looked to the computer, seeing it act up. "Darren! The computer!" she cried. It was smoking, but it hadn't been hit by any gunfire as far as she could tell. She looked back to Lightning on the wall, eyes widening at her defiant facial expression. Somehow, she was breaking the system!

Darren looked to the machine at the call, and his eyes widened. "Handle him!" he said, just as Riku came in through the window, having leapt through. He had to make sure the machine didn't fail!

Rena looked to Gual, seeing him come out of his hiding spot as well. Both of them charged forward at Riku, knowing that they had to buy Darren some time. Once he had the information extracted, he could take it out of the computer and they could flee.

Light opened her eyes, eyebrows furrowed when she saw two people go for the person she recognized and loved. Riku! Either he had to break her out of this, or she had to keep defying the system. But the pain was making her weaken, and that would weaken her mentally as well. She would fail without some kind of miracle or intervention.
