Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku didn't hesitate firing off bullets at the two teens, prepared to swing his Keyblade if the time called for it. He could do many things with the blade, and he wasn't afraid. He would be brave, for Lightning. He would save her.

Lightning looked over to the computer, seeing Darren there and working on it. She squeezed her eyes shut and cried out in pain, though it was muffled by the tape still. She refused to let go of Riku! She refused to let go of the memories that she still had! She would be victorious in her struggle!
Riku had enough with bullets, seeing that they weren't working well. He heard Darren cry out on one side of the room, unaware that it was because of the machine acting up even more. Riku switched the gunblade into its sword form, using it and the Keyblade to fight Rena and Gual. He wasn't leaving without Lightning.

Light felt the restraints give due to not being able to handle the electrical current going through them, disintegrating in a few seconds. She grunted and fell down to the ground, barely catching herself with her arms before her face would have hit the ground. She couldn't even hold that position, rolling over onto her side in pain and weakness. She was free. She wasn't going to lose Riku.
Riku cried out, the kid with the axe striking him across the chest. The impact made him stumble back and trip over a fallen chair. He landed on his back, but he brought his blade up in time to block another attack from Rena. They were so persistent, and quick! But he had to keep fighting, for Light.

"Darren? Do we kill her?!" Gual called over to Darren after seeing Lightning free of the system, and the system broken. He didn't believe they'd have the chance to work on Lightning again, so it was best to kill her for all the trouble she caused. Right?

Riku heard the idea and cried out. "No!" he yelled, fear heavy in his voice. They weren't going to kill her! They couldn't!

Darren ignored Riku's cry and nodded, lifting another arrow to his bow. She was of no use to them anymore; she destroyed the machine, which meant it was over. They would have to find another person to use.

Light grunted, an arm wrapped around her stomach while the other propped her up on the ground. She saw Rena get shoved away from Riku when he cried out, so Gual went in to attack him instead. She shifted her gaze to Darren, seeing his bow loaded. So, he was going to be the one to try and attack her. Terrific. It'd be nearly impossible to defend herself without a weapon like this.
Riku rolled out of the way of Gaul's attack, barely avoiding the sharp axe as it hit the floor instead. The teen got onto his feet and summoned his Keyblade away, knowing what he had to do. He kept the gunblade in his other hand, seeing that Darren was about to release his arrow. "No!" Riku took a step forward and called to his Dark powers, the boy grinding his teeth together as he felt his body shift through the air, his feet touching the ground once more in front of Lightning as he blocked the arrow with his Dark Shield.

Lightning had squeezed her eyes shut when she saw the arrow coming, an arm blocking her heart. But she opened her eyes when she heard the arrow deflected, her gaze going to the boy directly in front of her. Riku saved her life again.
Riku saw Darren's stunned expression, and he took that as his chance. He summoned his Keyblade to his free hand and casted Cure, both on himself and the woman he loved; it wouldn't be enough to get rid of every wound, since it was split between them. He flipped the gunblade in his grasp, holding it behind him for Lightning to take as he kept his eyes on the other three. Be strong.

Light propped herself up, grabbing the gunblade in Riku's grasp. She grasped the handle and then reached up to Riku's now empty hand with her free one, trusting that she could use him a little bit to help her get up. She still was feeling terrible, but she'd fight the best she could.
Riku felt Light's hand in his and he securely wrapped his fingers around it, also lifting his arm a little to help her up. He kept his eyes on the other three teens however, who seemed to know what was going on. They weren't going down without a fight, and neither were he and Lightning. Not a chance.

Light stood up with Riku's help, coming beside him. She saw Rena and Gual go to stand by Darren, just waiting now. Rena and Gual were afraid to attack them at a distance because the only way they could do that was to throw their weapons. Lightning would use the distance to her advantage. She shifted Paradigms, taking her hand out of Riku's and curling it slightly before she extended her arm in front of her and shot fireballs at the three teens.

Darren's eyes widened, but he didn't have enough time to dodge. He stumbled a step back, crying out at the burns that he knew already caked his skin.

Riku took this as his chance. He sprinted forward instantly, knowing he could handle the close-range attacks if Lightning kept her distance and dealt those attacks of her own. She didn't need to be close to the action, since she was obviously hurt.

Light focused a lightning spell on Rena, who got clipped by the attack before she went for Riku. She saw Gual run over to her quickly and she grunted, quickly bringing up her sword and blocking the attack. She was hurt and tired, but she wasn't going to give up. No way.
Riku swung at Darren countless times before the kid dodged it so many times that it was no use. Besides, Rena intervened. Riku turned on his heel and brought his weapon up, blocking her attack, grunting at the impact.

Rena looked over at Lightning's fight after a while, seeing how neither she nor Gual could overcome each other. But she saw a chance to overcome Riku. She swung her sword and hit the side of his head with the broad side before she bent down, sweeping her leg under his and then knocking him down. And once he was on the ground, she stabbed her sword down towards his heart. But...I missed?! Her aim was off, her sword piercing the ground right next to Riku.

"No!" Light shrieked, seeing Riku get knocked down and then stabbed, at least believing that was the case because of where she stood. And she couldn't see Rena's expression with her hair covering the side of her face. Riku...was...

Gual gasped once nobody was speaking or fighting, believing he heard sirens. "We gotta go!" he said to Darren and Rena. There was no more time to linger here.

Riku grunted, feeling pain in his head and his back. The wind had gotten knocked out of him, which caused him to clamp his eyes shut. He heard Gual's shout, and then he heard Darren's response in agreement. But he tried focusing on breathing, since that seemed to be most difficult.

"Move, now!" Darren ordered, lowering his arrow that he almost shot at Lightning. He started in a run out of the room, knowing his friends would be close behind.

Lightning saw Rena pull out her sword and then run out after Darren, Gual right behind her. They both vanished, and Light ran as well, but not to pursue them. She put her gunblade in its case and ran over to Riku, kneeling down by him. "Riku?!"
Riku didn't move at the call, one hand still holding the Keyblade as he kept his eyes closed. Man, that hurt. Rena was a tough girl, but not as strong as Lightning. She had so much courage and strength. If only he had her agility as well; maybe then he could have avoided Rena's attack.

Light saw Riku's expression start fading away to a blanker one, her eyes dancing over his face in worry. "Riku." She choked back a sob once she said his name, the girl moving and lightly sitting Riku's head in her lap. She didn't check for his pulse, scared to get the result that she already assumed was true. Rena stabbed Riku in the heart. He wasn't responding to her. He was...gone. She felt the tears appear immediately, her gaze staying on his face.
Riku felt the movement, but he didn't respond to it. Everything was blacking out on him, even if his eyes already were closed; Light's voice was faint. He assumed he hit his head too hard, and that was why he was currently stunned, unable to respond. Give me a sec, Light.

Lightning couldn't help but get emotional so quickly, on a roller coaster of emotions. "I remembered something, Riku," she said through her tears, the moisture already flowing down her cheeks and her voice reflecting her great sorrow. She spoke to him as if he could hear her, but...he couldn't. He wasn't with her anymore. "...I remembered the decision I made about us."
Riku tried to find his voice at that, wanting to respond. But he couldn't, still fighting to even stay conscious. He had to hear this. He just had to. He needed to know Lightning's decision; it would change everything.
