A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Light lifted her hand to the side of Riku's head, cupping his face and looking down at him as tears dropped from her eyes. "I chose to be with you, forever," she whispered. That was what she wanted all along.

Riku felt Lightning's tears fall onto his face, and to know she was crying upset him. But her confession... It was glorious. Lightning...he wanted to say, but he couldn't find his voice.

Light squeezed her eyes shut tightly, though the tears kept coming. Her free hand curled into a fist while she cupped Riku's face, her emotions raging. She just discovered she wanted to be with him, but now it was too late.

Riku felt more tears fall on his face, and he had enough energy to smile weakly. "...Is it raining?" he asked, his voice hoarse as he finally found it. He was just kidding of course, not wanting Lightning to cry anymore. He hated for her to cry.

A ragged gasp left Light's lips, her eyes opening to the boy who just spoke. "R-Riku?" He was alive? He was still with her, and okay? She thought...She looked down at his chest. There was no stab wound...

"Mm," Riku grunted, his eyebrows furrowing as his smile faded. He finally got his breath back, but his head hurt. Rena definitely didn't mess around, not that he expected her to.

Light's wide eyes stayed on Riku's face, the girl registering the pain on his expression. She reached back with her free hand and set her hand on her sword handle, shifting to her Medic Paradigm. She cast a few Cure spells over Riku, her eyes staying on him. He was alive.

Riku sighed, his muscles relaxing once the spells washed over him. "Thanks, Light," he said softly. He owed her one, but he wasn't sure what. He opened his eyes, his headache slowly fading away. His head was still in her lap, so he looked directly up at her, recognizing the surprised look on her face. "...What's wrong?"

Light released the handle of her sword, her eyes still moist. "I-I thought that..." She saw Rena knock Riku down and then stab her sword down. But there was no wound in Riku's torso. The blade missed? How was that possible?

Riku's eyes softened when Lightning trailed off, and he shook his head slightly, but not enough to make it so his head left her lap. He wasn't gone; he was still here. He would die for her any day, but he was glad it wasn't this day.

Light sighed, shutting her eyes to keep the moisture in. She should have been more observant; it would have saved her a lot of emotional stress. But she didn't care about any of that now. Riku was still with her, and she remembered something vital. She wanted to be with him forever.

Riku lifted his free hand and set it on Lightning's cheek, even from his odd angle. It didn't matter to him, though, his eyes staying on her. He heard what she said, and he loved her even more for the way she worded it. Forever...

"Did you...hear what I said?" Lightning asked softly after a few moments, feeling Riku's hand on her cheek. He must have, right? She sort of hoped he did, because she hadn't said it without meaning. She meant it with all her heart.

"...Every word," Riku answered gently, his eyes staying on Lightning. And he cherished each and every one of those words. They meant so much to him, more than Lightning knew. She still loved him...

Lightning found herself smiling, her eyes opening and looking down at Riku. One tear dropped just because her eyes were so moist, though she wasn't so sad anymore. "Forever," she repeated softly from earlier. That was how long she wanted to be with Riku.

Riku's lips spread into a smile, a small sound of relief and happiness leaving him. "Forever," he said with a small nod. He wanted her forever too.

"That's how long you have to put up with me," Light said, her lips shifting to form a more crooked smile. She could be a pain sometimes, but she hoped Riku would enjoy forever. With her.

"I won't have to put up with anything," Riku said with a small shake of his head, his hand still on Light's cheek. "I'm quite fond of you." He would be blessed by her presence every day. Every single day...

Light's smile turned genuine again, her free hand coming up and lightly holding Riku's hand that was on her cheek. "I'm quite fond of you too," she whispered softly. She didn't remember their relationship in the past, but she could accept her feelings now that she knew this was what she had wanted all along.

Riku's smile grew, the boy wanting nothing more than to kiss Lightning again. But there were footsteps outside, which meant... The Corps. Would his moment with Lightning be ruined?

Lightning's smile faded away when she heard footsteps, her gaze going to the window in the room. She thought she heard something, unlike earlier. When Gual said they had to leave, she hadn't heard anything from the Corps. She hoped that the noise was just his imagination.

Riku's gaze shifted when Light's did, his smile fading as well. That had to be the Corps. The flare should have set them off.

"Time to slip out of here," Light murmured, releasing Riku's hand and bringing her other one away from his face. If Riku was caught here, it wouldn't be good. And she didn't feel like facing the Corps either.

"Right," Riku agreed immediately. As soon as Lightning took her hands away, he pushed himself up, lifting his head from her lap. They would take his glider, but they would go out the back.

Lightning stood up, grunting at the pain lingering in her body. The arrow wounds in her shoulders still hurt, along with the rest of her body. She really needed to rest up and maybe cast a spell or two to recover from this.
