Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light's soft smile remained at Riku's hum, her eyes falling shut again as she continued her gesture. She lightly shushed him, letting him know it was okay to sleep for a little longer. She was comfortable here. And happy.
Riku nestled his face into Light's hair at the response he got, his arm tightening around her a little. Just a little longer, then they would start the day together. The first day of forever.

Light's hand sat on Riku's arm after a few moments, her thumb lightly rubbing him. This was so nice, being able to treat Riku the way that he deserved. She would never push him away again.
"Mm...morning," Riku mumbled, waking up a little more after a few minutes. It certainly felt like a good morning, since he woke up next to her. He'd wanted that for so long, and now he finally got it.

Lightning smiled softly, eyes still shut and her gesture continuing. "Good morning," she said quietly, a little more awake than Riku was. She was excited, though she was calm on the outside. She couldn't wait to tell him the news.
Riku kept his eyes closed, taking in the scent of Light's hair as he kept his position behind her. "How long have you been awake?" he asked groggily, his voice low. He didn't usually sleep past dawn, but today was different.
  • Author
"Not much longer than you," Light responded softly. It had just been a minute, because she started rubbing Riku's arm as soon as she woke up, and he woke up a minute or two after that.
"Mm," Riku hummed softly. Good. That meant he hadn't slept too much later than her, and hadn't kept her here, trapped in his arms. But he doubted she considered it being "trapped". He found it to be the opposite; holding her was nice.

"Sleep well?" Light asked after hearing Riku's response, eyes still shut as she spoke. She was really comfortable here, and she had no urge to move out of Riku's arms. And she was sure that once she told him the news, he'd want to keep her in his arms even longer.
Riku took in a soft breath, inhaling the scent of Light's hair. "Yeah," he said, exhaling quietly. He couldn't have slept any better. "Much better than the couch." He smirked weakly, though the bed wasn't the only thing that made things more comfortable. Lightning did too.

Lightning smiled softly, starting to run her fingers over Riku's arm again. "Glad to hear it," she said softly. She didn't know if he was referring to dozing off on the couch last night or the few weeks he lived in her house and slept on the couch, but it didn't matter. He wouldn't have to sleep there any longer.
Riku hummed softly, nodding a little. Lightning sounded happy in general, at least to him. "Did you?" he asked, referring to sleeping well. Maybe that was why she had that light tone in her voice, or at least a hint of it. It was something he learned to decipher over the months he was with her.

"Mmhm," Light hummed softly, nodding faintly as well. She slept terrific, since she was in Riku's arms. And she dreamed of being in his arms countless more times, and kissing him and cherishing him. There were some bad memories in there too, but the good overcame the bad, because the good was what she expected for her future.
"Good," Riku said, pulling his head back a little as he opened his eyes. He saw the back of Light's head, but then he looked to his arm that was wrapped over her side. He could feel her finger traveling over his skin, a soothing gesture, but he didn't need it; everything was perfect the way it was. Except for Light's lost memories, of course.

"Guess what," Light whispered to Riku, looking down at his arm as she rubbed it. She really wanted him to guess, but if he didn't, she would tell him. She couldn't keep the truth from him.
"...This isn't a dream?" Riku guessed softly, smiling weakly. If it was, he would be pretty disappointed; it was nice. Lightning was his here, and he hoped it was reality. What she said yesterday hadn't been a figment of his imagination, right? Forever...
  • Author
Light smiled, stopping her hand on Riku's arm and lightly squeezing it. "It's not a dream," she assured him softly. "And that's not what I wanted you to guess." So he would have to try again.
Riku's smile remained, the boy thinking for a moment before guessing again. "Serah and Snow eloped?" he asked softly. He knew Light probably wouldn't like that one, but it was one of the only things he could think of.
  • Author
Light smirked slightly. "I'd kill Snow if they did that," she said. She knew he and Serah were anxious for the wedding that they had to postpone for Lightning's sake, but they wouldn't ever alope. They weren't that reckless.
"...Sora and Kairi are here?" Riku guessed a third time. That was the last thing he could come up with. If that wasn't it, what did he have to guess?
  • Author
"Not that I know of," Light said, faintly shaking her head. She supposed they could have been here, but she doubted it. They didn't even know where she lived, so they couldn't have tracked her and Riku to here.
Riku's smile was gone now, the boy out of ideas. "I give up then," he said, his eyes still on Lightning. "What's up?" What did she have to tell him?
  • Author
"You give up? Never thought I'd hear those words," Light stated softly, teasing him. Riku never gave up on anything, including her. And she loved him for it.
Riku pushed himself up with his other arm, leaning against his elbow as he looked down at Lightning from his spot behind her. "I'm not very creative," he said with a sheepish smile. That was his excuse, but he really did want to know.
  • Author
"True," Light said with a small smirk, turning her head and looking up at Riku. "But cliff-diving was a pretty creative idea. And surfing." She gave him two hints right there by bringing up events from the past, events that she shouldn't have recalled then. Hopefully he'd catch on.
