A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"Sora was the first one to come up with the cliff--" Riku cut his explanation short, gazing down on Lightning. His eyebrows furrowed as he looked at her, his eyes narrowing. "Wait a second... How could you know that? You lost your..." She lost her memories...and they were still lost, right?

Lightning only smiled at Riku, seeing how he noticed what she brought up. Of course he did; he was observant like that. She stayed silent, wondering if he could piece together everything else without her assistance.

Riku's eyebrows furrowed, his hold on Lightning loosening slightly. "You...you got your memories back?" he said softly, that being the only conclusion he could come to. How else could Lightning have known about those events? Remembered them?

"You guessed it," Light said softly, her smile fading but remaining on her lips. Riku probably wasn't thinking about the guessing game now, but his guess was right. She got her memories back.

Riku blinked, his eyes widening slightly. "All of them?" he checked. Overnight? Was that even possible?

"Mm," Lightning hummed softly, nodding faintly as well. All of her memories came back to her. She wasn't empty or missing a part of herself anymore. She was the Light that Riku fell in love with.

"...How?" Riku asked, dumbfounded. How could that possibly happen? It was great, yeah, but what changed? Was it a miracle? Or did Lightning just need a little time to recover?

Light shrugged faintly, gently rolling onto her back so she could look at Riku better. She was careful not to make him move his arm, though. She didn't know how it happened; it was a miracle, she guessed. She would accept that miracle.

Riku found himself smiling, regardless of the answer. "That's...great, Light," he said. That was amazing. All of her memories were back, she was back. The true Lightning was his again.

Light smiled as well, humming in agreement. She didn't really have much to say; she was so happy. She was with Riku, truly. She didn't feel trapped in her own life anymore. She was free to be with the one she loved.

What Riku did next was completely natural, something he'd wanted to do for a while. He leaned down, bringing his lips to Lightning's as he closed his eyes. She got her memories back. He was so happy for her.

Lightning shut her eyes, lifting her hand and lightly setting it on the back of Riku's neck as she kissed him back. Her arm rested against his bare back, that being a detail she forgot somehow in her excitement about getting her memories back. He's so warm, inside and out.

Riku fought the urge to smile as he kissed Lightning. She hadn't forgotten what she said about him calling her Claire, did she? He...liked calling her that. It was a beautiful name, though Lightning was also strong, just like her. But she was beautiful too, very beautiful. And she was his.

Lightning gently played with Riku's short, spiky hair, having a hard time not smiling. Even after all this time, she still got butterflies whenever she kissed him. But it was a terrific feeling, one she hoped she would never lose.

Riku ended the kiss after another moment, though a smile immediately graced his lips, his nose nuzzling Light's briefly. "I'm so happy for you," he told her, honesty in his voice. How couldn't he be? She got her memories back.

Light opened her eyes, her fingers sitting lightly in Riku's spikes close to the back of his neck. "I'm happy too," she said softly, smiling gently. She could live her life again, with Riku. "Happy" wasn't a strong enough word to describe what she was feeling.

"Good," Riku said softly, his eyes on Light's, her face still close to his. He felt her hand on the back of his neck and her arm against his bare back. He forgot he was shirtless, since he was so comfortable that way. It wasn't like Lightning hadn't seen him that way before, anyway.

Light hummed, that being the only response she could think of. It was good, because she was hardly happy in the past, or recently. It was about time something good happened.

Riku now only gazed down at the young woman he loved. She looked truly happy, and that was something he loved to see in her. If only there was something he could do to make sure things stayed this way; perfect.

Light brought up her head a little off the pillow, giving Riku a light peck on the lips before she returned to her previous position. She hadn't shown him enough affection lately. She was going to make up for that, starting today.

Riku smiled a little more at the kiss, the boy lifting his arm that was over Light's stomach to set his hand against her face, looking down on her. "You know, keep doing that, and you will have me forever," he said softly. He never thought he'd be soft. He never even thought he'd find love. But Lightning... She was very special to him, in many ways.

Lightning smiled, leaning up again and giving Riku another peck on the lips before going back down despite his hand on her cheek. Alright, then I'll keep doing it, her expression and actions seemed to say, her gaze still on Riku. She meant what she said with wanting to have him forever.

Riku's smile turned crooked at the action, and he saw by the look on Light's face that she was teasing him. But he would easily tease right back. He lowered his face, his lips finding hers in a slightly longer kiss than she just gave him, the boy then pulling back.

Light's smile remained, her hand lightly ruffling Riku's hair. She knew where he was going with this, but she broke the cycle before this turned into a heated kissing-competition. She was alright with the small signs of affection, the ones she missed giving him recently.

Riku looked down at Lightning for another moment, running his thumb over her cheek briefly before he pulled back. He then rolled over on the bed, lying on his back now instead. He stared up at the ceiling, his hands resting on his stomach. What now?
