Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora looked down at the ground, feeling Selphie play with his hair. Just like how she had massaged his shoulders, it felt...nice. It was something that he had missed a lot, and he was especially missing it now since Kairi would never show affection towards him again...
"Everything will be okay, Sora," Selphie said, twirling one of Sora's spikes with her fingers. She switched her gaze from that to his face, looking into his eyes with her bright green ones. "I promise."

Sora glanced over, his eyes catching Selphie's and staying on them for some reason. He nodded slightly before he looked back down at the ground. He hoped Selphie was right, but...why did she promise him that things would be alright? She had no clue what was even going on.

"I'll take care of you, and make sure you're okay," Selphie continued softly, keeping her eyes on Sora's face as she messed with his hair. "I'll fix what Kairi destroyed... How does that sound?"

Go home, Kairi, the redhead told herself, staring down at the dirt. She didn't need to hear this; she would just feel worse about what she did a week ago. Plus, it wasn't right for her to eavesdrop on Sora; she wasn't a part of his life anymore...and he wasn't a part of hers.

Sora automatically felt defensive at Kairi's name, wanting to stand up for her. If Kairi was paying attention to the feelings in his heart, she could probably sense that. "Uh, that's alright," Sora said, dismissing Selphie's offer. He was starting to feel uncomfortable with how she kept mentioning Kairi like that...It wasn't nice. Weren't they supposed to be friends?

Selphie brought her hand back, tilting her head. "You sure?" she asked. "I wouldn't mind." Anything to make him feel better...

Kairi didn't know what to think anymore, confused. She screwed this up, didn't she? And now, she had to pay the consequences. Seeing Sora with other girls was a price she had to live with...no matter what.

"Uh, yeah, I'll be fine," Sora lied as he looked to the island again. He thought he heard a slight change in Selphie's tone. It almost sounded...bitter? But why would she feel that way? He just said that he didn't need her to fix him...that was all.
Selphie shrugged. "Alright. If you insist," she said, her tone showing that she didn't believe Sora. But was there anything she could do to convince him? He was available now, right? And he was a good guy. Maybe he was the Prince Charming she was dreaming about...

Sora brought up a hand, running it over the back of his head at Selphie's tone. She didn't believe him, and he didn't care. Why was he even talking to her? They had never been close in the first place, and he was talking to her about Kairi? What was he thinking?!
Kairi had seen and heard enough. The redhead pushed herself up from the ground, dusting her pink skirt off. After that, she silently started to walk back the way she came. There was no point in listening in on this conversation anymore. She knew Selphie's motives, and she didn't want to stick around and see if they fell through.

"I should go," Sora declared, setting his hands on the ground and pushing himself up to his feet. He shouldn't have been alone with somebody like Selphie...he hardly knew her. She seemed genuine to him, but sometimes, things just felt off.
"Aww," Selphie whined, frowning up at Sora. "But why?" She didn't understand... They were having a nice talk, and now he had to go?

"I have to meet up with a friend," Sora said, looking down at Selphie on the ground because of her question. Surely she had someplace to be too, unless she was just taking a casual walk on the beach.
"Okay," Selphie said with a small nod. "See you around?" She certainly hoped so. He seemed friendly, as he always had been. She didn't want to miss out on any of that.

"Alright," Sora said with a nod, figuring that he couldn't avoid her in a small place like this. "See you." He offered her a wave and a weak smile before he turned around and started walking down the beach, hoping to find Aqua pretty soon.
Aqua was resting in the sand, letting the water wash up and brush her feet. She found it quite relaxing, especially when she was alone. Terra and Ven were off sparring further down the beach, and she didn't want to listen to either of them complain when they lost; she no longer played a mediator.

Sora walked for a little while, first seeing Terra and Ventus involved in a sparring battle. Ven gave Sora a smile when he was closer, and Sora nodded to him in return, walking widely around the fight so he didn't get involved. His eyes landed on the young woman further down the beach and he headed over to her without a word, his eyes stuck on her. Good; now he could talk to her about her "order".
Aqua turned her head when she heard footsteps closeby, her eyes finding the boy she'd brought home. "Oh! Hi, Sora," she greeted with a small smile. She hadn't seen him since she got back.
  • Author
"Hi," Sora said with a faint nod, his expression remaining serious as he stopped by Aqua and looked down at her. He wasn't ticked about her bringing him home; she had been doing what she felt was right. But she had been wrong, and Sora was about to tell her that.
Aqua's smile faded at Sora's expression, and she sat up, taking the weight off her palms. "Something the matter?" she asked him, wanting to see if everything was alright. He sure didn't look like he was, well, content.
  • Author
"You were wrong," Sora said, folding his arms over his chest. "About Riku and Kairi." They didn't care one bit that he was home. Actually, they did care...in a bad way. They ran away from him, for Pete's sake! They hadn't been worried at all.
Aqua furrowed her eyebrows, looking up at the boy. "Pardon?" she said in return. Wrong? She didn't quite understand...
  • Author
"They weren't worried, Aqua," Sora said, eyebrows furrowing slightly as he revealed the truth to her. "They're upset that I'm back." Kairi especially, since he had caught a glimpse of her expression before she and Riku practically ran away. They hadn't even tried to be civil.
"Upset?" Aqua repeated. "What do you mean? They were worried over you... I've never seen Kairi cry like that before..." She hated to admit that piece of information, but it was the truth. Why else would she be so sad after the boy she loved ran off?
  • Author
"The moment they saw me, Aqua, they turned and walked away. They looked like I was the most repulsive person they ever saw..." Sora locked his jaw, turning his head and staring down at the ground. He had felt so much pain in his heart when they both left him.
