Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning pulled back her hand from the back of Riku's head when he rolled over, her hands also coming to her lap. They weren't talking right now, but it was okay. She was comfortable.
"...You wanna do anything to celebrate?" Riku asked after a few moments of silence, his eyes still on the ceiling. He would do anything Light wanted, as long as she was happy. Today was her day. She deserved it.

"...Be with you," Light said after a moment or two of thought, her gaze on the ceiling. That was all that she wanted. And needed. She was perfectly content just being in his presence. But bringing up cliff-diving earlier sort of made her want to do it now. Or she could take him to the City of Dreams...
Riku smirked a little, lifting his arm opposite Lightning and tucking it behind his head. "Heh, that's an easy one," he said softly. She had him, forever. Just like she wanted.

Light smirked, clasping her hands. "That's good," she said honestly. "'Cause like I said, you're stuck with me." She wasn't going to run away from him again, so he had to be with her constantly.
"I think we can work out some kind of deal," Riku said, playing along. He turned his head a little and glanced over at Lightning, the two of them still resting peacefully in her bed. True, he was being a bit lazy, but he was alright with it.

"Oh yeah?" Light said, her smirk fading away as she went along with the conversation. "How much is it gonna cost me to keep you by my side forever?"
Riku's smirk faded into a small smile. "Your heart," he said softly. She could trust him with it. Always. He wouldn't do a thing to harm it. He would only cherish her love, just as he cherished her since the day he realized he loved her.

"That's a pretty steep price," Light said, hesitating for a second only to act out her part. "But I think I can afford it." She wanted Riku to hold her heart, just like she wanted to hold his.
"I think it would be fair too," Riku said, turning his head to look back up at the ceiling. "...You already have mine." She had since the day they first kissed, which hadn't exactly been under the best circumstances. Regardless, his feelings for her then were different. Way different than how he felt for anyone else.

"Can I tell you a secret?" Light asked softly, smiling faintly and looking at the ceiling. It wasn't really a secret, but it was something that she wanted him to know anyway. It was important.
"Of course," Riku said with a faint nod, his eyes staying on the ceiling. Light could tell him anything. They loved each other, which meant mutual respect and trust. Always.

"You already have mine, too," Light said softly, turning her head on the pillow and looking over at Riku. He had it for a long time, and he would always have it, no matter what.
Riku turned his head, his eyes instantly falling on Lightning, who was looking right back at him. He smiled in acceptance, willing to accept that any time. They had each other's hearts, and he knew neither one of them would break the other's.

Light smiled softly at Riku's expression, and the truth. "And today, I'm going to finally beat you to making breakfast," she said, pushing herself up into a sitting position. A few days ago, she said she was the host and she was supposed to make him food. Today she was going to fulfill that.
Riku's smile turned into a smirk instantly. "Challenge is, can you cook a better meal?" He kept his position on the bed, the covers up to his navel as he kept one hand behind his silver head. He lifted an eyebrow in question.

"We'll find out soon enough," Lightning said with a small smirk, getting off the bed and straightening her shirt. "After I get a shower." She felt like she needed one.
"No rush," Riku said with a small shake of his head. He'd just wait here. He felt like relaxing for a little longer anyway.

"Alright," Light said with a small nod, glancing at Riku and nodding faintly before she went to her dresser. She pulled out her usual clothes and started for the bathroom, ready to get cleaned up.
Riku sat at the table, his arms crossed as they sat on top of it. He watched Lightning in silence, seeing her work. She remembered everything... It was still something he had to keep reminding himself. He wouldn't have to hold anything back anymore, about his feelings.

Light had her back to Riku, a light-weight white sweatshirt on over a tank-top. She didn't really like wearing tank-tops because then her l'Cie brand was visible. But...earlier, she noticed something: her brand was gone. Completely. It was as if it had never been there in the first place. She had a guess as to why it was gone, but first, she had to tell Riku the news, now that she knew how to phrase it. "Hey, Riku?"
"Mm?" Riku hummed softly, his eyes still on Lightning. Usually when someone started a conversation like that, something important either needed to be asked or said. He was curious as to what this would be, so he stayed quiet to listen.

Light flipped the pancake on the griddle, keeping her eyes down on the food. "I discovered something earlier," she said softly. "I never expected this to happen, but...my l'Cie brand is completely gone." She knew she had it last night when she got changed, but this morning, it was gone. It had been burnt out for a while, but now it was nonexistent.
Riku lifted an eyebrow slightly. "Really?" he asked, interest in his voice. "Any ideas on how that happened?" It was great news, because it meant she wouldn't be victim to the Fal'cie again. But, how?
  • Author
Light shook her head faintly. "The only idea that I have is that the Fal'Cie saw yesterday that I wouldn't be taken down easily," she said, her voice quiet at the thought of what almost happened. Darren tried stealing her memories, but she fought back. The Fal'Cie must have realized that she would stand against them, too, even with the odds set against her. She wasn't worth the trouble anymore.
