Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku nodded slightly, even if Lightning couldn't see. So, her strength caused the brand to be taken away. That made sense, because Lightning really did fight hard the day before.

Lightning flipped a few more pancakes before letting them sit, breakfast almost ready. "...Do you know what was happening?" she asked softly. Riku came in late to the whole scene; he probably didn't know what was going on.
Riku lowered his eyes to the tabletop, staring at it instead of the woman he loved. "...I figured they were using you for more 'experiments'. That's what it looked like, anyway," he said lowly. When he said "experiments", he meant torture. She had been tortured before by those kids.

Light shook her head faintly, getting the pancakes off the griddle and onto a nearby plate. "It's much worse than that," she said softly, gazing down at the food and not moving for a moment. They weren't just experimenting; they were purposely going to steal her memories. Then kill her.
Riku lifted his eyes from the table to Lightning, seeing that she was still. "...What is it?" he asked, encouraging her to continue. If it was too bad, they wouldn't discuss it any further. But he couldn't imagine anything worse than what he saw.

"They were trying to take the rest of my memories so that they could just hold onto those and get rid of me," Lightning said softly. "I would have just been an empty shell if they succeeded anyway, but they were planning on killing me once the procedure was done." It was really cruel, and painful.
Riku grunted slightly, stiffening. What? he thought in shock. He hadn't expected death to be a result of anything; he thought torture was the worst of it. But...he was wrong.

Light grabbed the plate of pancakes, turning around and walking a few steps to the table. She only briefly glanced up at Riku's face before looking away, setting down the food and going back to the stove for the sausage and bacon. She didn't know what to say following that.
Riku could smell the food, but his eyes stayed on the woman in the room. "Light..." he said softly. He hadn't known that, and if he had, he would have been ten times as rough with those brats. His hands curled into fists, his hands now in his lap. They would pay for what they did, and what they had planned to do.

Light dumped the sausage onto a plate, putting the bacon on another. "It turned alright, though," she said softly, holding both plates and walking back towards the table. She set down the food, glancing up at Riku again.
"Better than alright," Riku said, his eyes on Lightning. She was alive and well, with her memories back. Everything was better than it was before.

Light hummed softly in agreement, lifting the towel that was sitting on the table and lightly wiping her hands as she walked around to Riku, standing behind him. She set her hands on his shoulders, standing right behind him and gazing down at him. He was right.
Riku lifted his head, tilting it back a little to look at Lightning. He lifted one of his hands to sit atop hers on his shoulder, seeing the look on her face. They would be alright, and he would make sure she was. She mattered most to him.

Light lowered herself a little, bending down and giving Riku a kiss on his forehead since his head was tilted to look at her. After a moment, she pulled back, her pale blue eyes falling on him again once she opened them. Things were great; she just had to get over some of the mental stress of the situation. They'd be fine.
Riku squeezed Light's hand he had a small hold of, and he smiled up at her. "So...are we gonna see who's the better cook?" he asked, his smile turning into a smirk. He'd never eaten anything she'd cooked, since he often made the meals when she was staying with him, and Serah cooked here.

Lightning smirked slightly in return. "Yeah, we'll see," she said. She felt like Riku might prefer his own cooking, or Serah's cooking, but Light wasn't a terrible cook. She just wasn't the best out there.

A week later...

Riku walked down the aisle, chairs set up in rows on either side of him. Today was Serah and Snow's wedding day, and they were having it at a nearby park in Bodhum. He had to admit, the view was nice; the ocean could be seen not too far off, and the weather was cooperating nicely. Everything in general was going well, especially things between him and Light. He visited his friends a few days ago while Lightning was out with Serah and making last-minute preparations for the wedding, and he also talked to Lieutenant Amodar, who allowed him to stay in Cocoon without arrest as long as he promised to help hunt down the terrorists that harmed Lightning. He was free for events like this, though he was always on his guard. Riku wasn't about to let anything happen to Lightning. Or Serah, especially today.

Light stood under a nearby tree, her and a few other bridesmaids there with Snow's men. Lightning was Serah's maid of honor, something she wouldn't take for granted. She was glad her sister still treated her with such respect even after what happened a while ago with her l'Cie brand and Light chasing her away from her. She shut her eyes at the thought, feeling the wind lightly blow her hair that was pinned back but let down in neat curls. The music started a few moments later, and she knew it was time to walk out.
Riku took his seat just before the music started, and he saw Snow not too far off. He looked ready in his tuxedo, and Riku saw him for the first time without his hat. The boy saw the color theme throughout the area, the place decorated with champagne and navy colors. It just so happened that Riku was wearing the latter color, that being the color of his dress shirt. He also wore black slacks and dress shoes for the occasion. I wonder how Light looks...

Light opened her eyes when somebody said her name, a young man she grew to love since their first meeting. Snow's best man, Hope. He looked dashing in his tuxedo, older than his fourteen years. He got taller since everything, and more handsome. She smiled at her friend, accepting the arm that he offered and starting down the path in her beautiful champagne colored dress. It was strapless and it had a bow on the front, the material also pulled diagonally across the top. It was a beautiful full-length dress.
Riku saw Snow wink at someone, and he turned around in his seat, much like the others who attended the wedding. He saw Hope and Lightning, staring in awe at the latter. They must have been who Snow made the gesture at. She looked...beautiful.

Lightning fought the urge to roll her eyes at Snow's gesture, remaining composed since she felt a lot of gazes on her. She knew a lot of these people, and they looked a little dumbstruck at how she could cleanup if she wanted to. She felt one gaze in particular and she subtly shifted her pale blue eyes to that young man, smiling faintly at Riku's expression.
Riku caught Lightning's eye and he read her expression. It was enough to draw a small smile out of him. He nodded faintly to her. She would be great. She certainly looked amazing.

Light looked away from Riku after seeing his appearance, seeing how handsome he looked. She wanted to wink at him, but that wouldn't quite be good at this moment. She gazed ahead and walked down the aisle with Hope, passing Riku and hearing other pairs walking behind her.
Snow smiled at Lightning and Hope as they approached. They both looked good, but he was sure Serah... She would look beautiful. His imagination probably wouldn't do her justice.
