A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku looked down at Lightning, still standing right in front of her. "How do you feel?" he asked her with a genuine smile. "You look amazing." But did she feel that way?

Light fought the urge to blush, clasping her hands behind her back and looking up at Riku. "I'm alright. It's weird being so dolled up." She really didn't dress up many times in her life, so it felt odd. But a good odd, judging by how Riku was looking at her. He liked seeing her dressed up nice.

"Dolled up or not, you look great," Riku said, tilting his head slightly as he looked at her. He thought Lightning was beautiful even when she woke up in the morning, which was usually when people didn't look their best. But she did. She was gorgeous.

Lightning felt herself become more shy, a small blush appearing on her cheeks as she glanced down at Riku's chest. "Thanks," she said softly. She wasn't used to compliments like this; she was used to hearing how strong and determined she was, not how beautiful she was.

Riku saw the pink tint on Light's cheeks, which made him smile more. "You're welcome," he said softly, nodding as well. He couldn't wait to spend the rest of the day with her. The reception was next.

Light smiled, lifting a hand and lightly whacking Riku's upper arm. "You enjoy seeing me flustered, don't you?" she accused softly, though she was teasing him in good nature. She saw his smile grow when he saw her blush.

Riku laughed, unable to help it. "It's not every day you blush, Light," he said, lifting his hand to his arm. It didn't hurt, but it was reflex.

"So you admit to it, then," Light said, not making it a question. She smirked slightly, her hands by her sides. "Well, now that I know where you stand..." She stepped to the side, pretending to be about to walk away.

"Hey," Riku said, his hand leaving his arm instantly and instead grabbing Lightning's. She wasn't leaving so quickly. His smile was a faint smirk at this point, but still. She wasn't about to walk away.

Lightning stopped when Riku grasped her arm, a small smirk forming on her lips. "Can I help you?" she asked, feigning innocence as she looked over at Riku.

Riku's smirk grew, his hold on Lightning secure but gentle. "You're stuck with me, remember?" he reminded her with an arched eyebrow. "There's no walking away from me." Not anymore.

"I'm going to have to walk away eventually," Light said, her smirk fading after a few seconds. "They need me for pictures." She made a face at that statement, having never been a pictures person.

Riku stepped a little closer to Light, his hand leaving her arm and instead going to her upper back, which was bare because of the dress. "Aw, it's just a few pictures," he said, having seen her look. "Do it for Serah, if anything."

Light wrapped an arm around Riku's lower back, her other hand coming up and lightly sitting on his chest as she gently leaned into him and gazed at his face. "She's lucky enough she got me in the dress, and she knows it," she said with a slight smirk. Lightning really wasn't one to get dolled up.

Riku rubbed his fingers over Light's skin a little, smirking still. "Maybe," he said with a small nod. He had to agree; Lightning wasn't one to usually dress up. He knew she liked to keep it casual. "Regardless, I want some copies." He winked at her. Riku knew this could be one of the few times he saw Lightning so dressed up, and she looked beautiful; he wanted something for keepsake.

"I'm sure Serah will sneak you whatever copies I don't burn," Lightning said jokingly. She wouldn't get away with actually burning any photos, so she wouldn't bother trying. She'd just hide them away somewhere.

"Works for me," Riku said with a small nod. He would take that, as long as he got something from this night. Of course, he was sure the memories would be enough.

"Of course, I'm sure Serah will want you in some of the pictures," Lightning said, her smirk fading as she looked up at Riku. Pictures were supposed to be just for the wedding party, but Serah knew Riku was important to Lightning. That was why she would want pictures of the two of them together.

Riku's smirk fell away at that. "...Huh?" he said dumbly. He was never one for pictures either, but...if he had to, he guessed he would. Remember what you told Lightning. Do it for Serah.

Light grasped the front of Riku's shirt lightly, her smirk returning. "You heard me." She was so focused on Riku, that she actually failed to notice the photographer subtly snapping pictures of her and Riku for the past few minutes while they had natural smiles.

"...Why?" Riku asked, lifting his hand to scratch the back of his head in uncertainty. Why would Serah want him in pictures? He wasn't a groomsmen...

"Because she already thinks of you as her future brother-in-law," Light said with a more sheepish, shy smile. Serah told Lightning that herself. She knew Lightning wasn't one to easily fall in love, but once she did, she was hooked. Serah believed the two of them would be together forever.

Riku blinked at that, lowering his hand from his head. "Oh..." he said, glancing up and away from Lightning. He felt his cheeks burn this time, not expecting that answer at all. A brother-in-law, to Serah? A husband...to Lightning?

Lightning smiled at Riku's shyness, the girl leaning her head on his shoulder lightly and lightly patting his chest before her hand stilled. I hope she's right. Light wanted to be with him, always.

Riku looked back down at Lightning after a moment, and he smiled weakly. "Apparently...I thought the same thing five years from now," he said softly. His older self told him to propose as soon as he could.
