Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku glanced over his shoulder, seeing Serah in her white gown and the photographer in his own formal attire for the occasion. "...You're not going to show us any mercy, are you?" he asked, giving her a look. Serah was serious about this picture thing.

"Nope," the bride said with a small smirk. "Someday, you two'll thank me for it. Now, c'mon." It was time to go to other locations to get more scenic pictures.

Light glanced down at her long dress, seeing how she could sit down this way fairly easily, but getting up would be another story. How was she supposed to do this, exactly?

Riku sighed a little for dramatic effect but also because he wasn't big on pictures. He turned his head and looked to Lightning, loosening his hold on her hand. Looks like we need to go. It was Serah's day, so they would grant her wish.

Light looked up at Riku, loosening her hold on his hand as well. "...I don't know how to get up in this thing," she admitted sheepishly, motioning to her dress with her free hand.
Riku gave Lightning a look. Dresses aren't your thing, are they? He smirked a little and shook his head at her. "Leave it to me," he said then. He had an idea how to get her out of the small mess. Riku stepped forward, putting one arm around Lightning's back and moving the other to put under her knees.

Light hmphed, both at Riku's look and what he said. She had thought maybe he would just lift her by her armpits, but this was probably gentler. She wrapped an arm around his shoulders when he was close, used to him picking her up by now.
Riku felt the cloth of Light's dress against his arms as he lifted her from the ledge, not at all affected by her weight. She was as light as ever, especially since she didn't have all of her gear on her. It didn't really make much of a difference anyway.

Lightning looked over at Serah, seeing how her sister was whispering something to the photographer. Obviously it was about them, but they weren't meant to hear it.

"I have to go to the reception," Serah said with a sheepish smile, speaking to Lightning and Riku now. It was her wedding, after all; the people were here for her and Snow, and she hadn't seen them much. "So don't be a pain for the photographer, okay? I'm trusting you guys." She gave them a look, turning around and then starting towards everyone else.

Riku faced the celebration going on outside, but he arched an eyebrow slightly as he looked from Serah's departing figure to her older sister. Did you understand any of that? What was going on?

Light shrugged faintly at Riku, looking up at him and catching his expression. She had no idea, until the photographer told her and Riku to get more comfortable in that pose and actually look like they were happy to be with each other. Serah must have told him to get a picture of them like this.
Riku glanced at the photographer with a slightly surprised expression before he looked to Lightning. He shrugged a little, his surprise slowly fading away as he looked at the woman he loved and adored, holding her in his arms. Might as well.

Light shrugged faintly as well, a weak smile forming on her lips. She lifted her free arm and wrapped it around Riku's front, her hand finding his shoulder as she gazed up at him. A camera could easily catch her adoration of him.
"You don't like pictures?" Riku murmured, moving his face a little closer to Light's. She seemed pretty photogenic to him, and he smirked at her with his small taunt. Did she fib?

"Hate them," Lightning murmured in return, her face coming a little closer to Riku's as well. She caught that taunt, and it made her small smile grow, but she really did hate pictures. But her sister said not to be a pain, so she would cope with this the best she could.
Riku's smirk stayed on his face, his forehead coming in contact with Lightning's. He caught the flash of the photographer's camera out of the corner of his eye, and he knew that was one picture down.

Light heard the photographer tell Riku to wipe the smirk off his face and smile for real, the language and nerve of the photographer making Lightning smirk. But she made it fade to a genuine, happy smile before he could scold her too.
Riku fought the urge to roll his eyes, focusing on Lightning instead. "Uptight photographers," he muttered under his breath, sure that only she could hear. His own taunt caused him to smile slightly, and he hoped the photographer approved of that look.

Lightning smiled at Riku's humor, her eyes on his. "Serah must have told him not to go easy on us," she said, her voice soft enough the man couldn't hear her. When her lips stopped moving and her smile remained, she saw a flash out of the corner of her eye. That picture felt more genuine.
Riku chuckled a little at that. "Payback," he said simply. Serah must have known they didn't like pictures, or at least Lightning, unless she told Serah about his hatred for them too. Regardless, that was probably why the bride told the photographer to be strict with them.

"Most likely," Light agreed with a small smirk. She then heard the photographer give them more instruction, telling them to start to the beach where they would take more photos. But he acted like Light was supposed to stay in Riku's arms, so she didn't release him.
Riku smirked and pulled his forehead away from Lightning's, following the photographer's orders. He turned and started for the beach like he was told, keeping Lightning in his arms, holding her securely. He wasn't sure how many pictures they would take, but he was sure Lightning couldn't miss the reception. She was the maid of honor; she had to give a speech and sit next to her sister at the bigger table. She was an important part of the dinner.

Light kept her gaze up on Riku when they went by the photographer, who walked behind them and snapped pictures of them like this. And then when they went to the beach, he took more pictures of them there, ones where Lightning actually got to stand on her own two feet. There was one picture where Riku held onto her waist and lifted her up into the air while her hands were on his shoulders and the sunset was behind them. She was actually curious about how that one would turn out.
Riku held Lightning's hand as they walked through the sand, looking down at her with a small smile. He couldn't help it; it was a natural reaction whenever he saw her. He heard the photographer's camera snapping more pictures as they made their way back to the reception, still hand in hand. He had to admit...this wasn't so bad.

"You seem like you're enjoying yourself," Lightning commented softly, a small smile on her lips because she was forbidden to smirk. Riku really wasn't grumpy anymore, but neither was she. The photographer was actually a fun guy who was making this semi-enjoyable.
"It's not all an act, I guess," Riku said softly, glancing away from Lightning to look down at the ground, his smile one of shyness and a bit of embarrassment. Was he actually enjoying this? Yeah, he kind of was.
