Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Glad to hear you can be genuine with me," Light said with a small smirk, teasing him. She always wanted him to be genuine, even in times like this, when they were forced into a situation they weren't necessarily happy with. But in a way, she was happy. She had a reason to be "cute" with Riku.
Riku smiled a little more, humming softly as he looked back to Lightning. He lifted her hand in his and kissed it gently, unaware that the photographer caught that in a picture. He would find out soon enough, when Serah would hand out copies.

Light's smile turned genuine as she lightly squeezed Riku's hand, her eyes going down to the ground as they got off the sand and onto a path. It was time to eat and get away from the camera.
Riku walked with Lightning back to the wedding reception, which was just about to begin. He separated himself from Lightning, unwillingly, since she was supposed to be beside Serah during the dinner. His seat wouldn't be too far away, and after dinner was done, he could spend more time with her.

Lightning smiled sadly at Riku when they parted, the young woman going to her seat by Serah. Once everyone was settled, she gave her speech, somebody gave a speech from Snow's side, and then they got to (finally) eat food. Light wasn't thinking about the rest of the night, only wondering when she could see Riku again.
Riku was slightly surprised that he was at a table with a few of Snow's friends, who just so happened to be part of NORA. He was happy that he was occupied by their discussions during the dinner, which was wrapping up now. The next thing that had to happen was the bride and groom's dance.

Lightning watched the DJ when he called the bride and groom forward for their first dance as husband and wife, the young woman watching Snow and Serah go and start the dance to the song they chose. She watched from her spot, wondering again...would this be her and Riku someday?
Riku stayed in his seat, and he heard one of Snow's friends coo at how happy he was. It made him smirk a little, while the others chuckled. Snow would probably kill them for making fun, or he wouldn't, since he was so wrapped up in Serah. Nobody was unaware of the love they shared for one another, and the thought of it made him look over at the maid of honor. Did anyone think that when they looked at him and Lightning?

Light didn't sense Riku's gaze on her, her eyes set on the bride and groom as she daydreamed. Her and Riku...She said that she wanted forever with him, and forever meant that they would be married someday. In the future, Riku even wanted to propose to her. So, would they ever end up like this? ...She really hoped so.
Riku's smirk widened into a small smile, his eyes stuck on Lightning for the moment. He noticed that dreamy look on her face, even from where he sat. It wasn't something he usually caught, but it was something else. He smiled to himself before looking back to Serah and Snow. Once their song was over, the DJ asked the rest of the wedding party to come out and dance with their partners. That meant Hope and Light had to dance. Does she even dance? Riku couldn't help but wonder. He'd never even thought of it.

Light hummed slightly at a tap on her shoulder, her gaze going to the young man who got her attention. "Oh," she murmured, smiling weakly at Hope and accepting the hand he offered like the gentleman he was. They started towards the floor after the other couples, and she wondered if he could dance.
Riku lifted an eyebrow slightly, his smile still resting on his face as he sat at his assigned seat. His eyes trailed Lightning in silence, the boy watching her make her way to the dance floor. He was sure she would be alright; she was graceful enough.

Light danced with Hope during the song, fine on her feet because she was naturally graceful. And Hope must have taken lessons or something, because he was a good dancer too. She smiled faintly at her partner as the song came to an end. That had actually been fun.
Riku heard the song come to an end, and the people all around the area got out of their seats to join the bride and groom on the dance floor. Serah and Snow obviously didn't mind, since they were both smiling. But...Riku believed it was his turn, to dance with the girl he loved himself.

Lightning glanced over to the side of the room, seeing a girl eyeing-up Hope. He obviously noticed too, because when he looked back at her, he looked a little stunned. She smirked slightly and lifted a hand, lightly ruffling his hair in a sisterly way. Go on.
Riku pushed himself up from his seat, starting toward Lightning's position. He saw the way she treated Hope, and he briefly pictured her doing the same to Ventus. When Hope began to walk away, Riku's eyes trailed him until he blended in with the crowd. But then he looked over at the woman he loved, seeing a few couples dancing around her. He hoped no one single approached her, thinking she was the same. He would have to cut in.

Light stepped away from the floor, since she was closer to the edge. She doubted anyone but Riku would ask her to dance, since they knew she was intimidating any other day. But today was Serah's day; she'd tone down her harshness.
Riku approached Lightning in silence, setting his hand on her back as he looked from the dancers to her. "Do I get a turn soon?" he asked with a small smirk. He wasn't the best dancer, but he would make it work.

Lightning looked over at Riku, smiling genuinely when he was close to her and he asked that question. "Of course you do," she assured him. Serah would kill her if she didn't dance with Riku. And besides...she wanted a reason to stay close to him, and not dance with anyone else.
Riku nodded once to Light, his smirk remaining. "Good." He wasn't sure if he was going to have to drag Light out on the dance floor, much like Kairi did to him a while back.

Light's look turned more suspicious as she looked at Riku. "What, you actually want to dance?" She arched a brow at him, surprised. He didn't seem like the type to want to dance.
Riku shrugged a little, his smirk fading a little as he lifted his sight to the dance floor. "I think it's a once in a lifetime opportunity," he admitted honestly. And he was going to take advantage of it. At least for now. If their future went the way he hoped...there would be plenty more dancing going on, with Lightning in white and him in his tux.

Hopefully not once, Lightning thought, following the same train of thought that Riku was without knowing it. If they ended up in Snow and Serah's position--"It will be hard to get me to dance anywhere else," she confessed to Riku with a small smirk. He was right about this being a limited opportunity.
Riku looked back to Lightning, a slow song starting up. "Then let me take advantage of it," he said, lowering his hand from her back to grasp her hand. If he couldn't get her to dance outside of this wedding, he would do it now.

Light hummed, feeling Riku grasp her hand by her side before she could protest. She wouldn't protest against this, anyway. "Alright," she said with a small nod, gently grasping his hand and looking up at his eyes. She'd dance with him, for the first time, right now.
