A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku walked toward the dance floor, seeing an open spot near the bride and groom. He stopped there and turned around, squeezing Light's hand before he lifted it, holding it in proper fashion for dancing. He then lifted his other hand to rest on her waist.

Light lifted her free hand and set it on Riku's shoulder, her eyes staying on his. She was unaware that the photographer still had his eyes set on them, and he snapped a picture of her gazing up at the one she loved.

Snow glanced away from the woman he loved, his eyes finding the couple nearby. He saw the way they were looking at each other and his smile only remained. Light, in love? He never would have guessed, but Riku must have been special if he got her heart.

Serah followed Snow's gaze to the couple, a smile finding its way onto her face as she looked at the two of them start dancing with the music. Riku was facing in her direction, so she gave him a wink of encouragement.

Riku caught that wink, and he smiled crookedly at Serah and Snow before he looked back to Lightning. "Your sister and brother-in-law seem happy for us," he said, whispering the words into her ear so as not to disturb the moment the slow music provided.

The photographer snapped a picture of Riku lowering his head and whispering in Light's ear, not that Lightning noticed. She rolled her eyes once the words registered, shaking her head faintly as well. "They need to mind their own business," she whispered in return, though she didn't really mind. She was with Riku, so she was happy.

Riku chuckled softly, turning his head while he was so close and placing a light kiss on Lightning's head. He made sure not to mess up her hair, though he was sure Lightning could care less.

Lightning shut her eyes at the kiss, not noticing another picture being snapped. This was really nice. Riku was so sweet, and handsome, and gentle and just...everything Light ever wanted and more. She didn't know it was possible for someone like her to fall in love, but she did.

Riku pulled back after a moment, looking down at the woman he loved. She was still glowing, even if she didn't know it. "Have I told you tonight that you look beautiful?" he whispered, lifting an eyebrow slightly. Of course he had, but he was just trying to get the message across again. She looked great.

Light opened her eyes, looking up at Riku with shining pale-blue eyes. "You might have mentioned it once or twice," she whispered. That was actually accurate, since she hadn't had the chance to actually speak to him much. During the long photos session, they really weren't allowed to talk too much.

"Mm. Doesn't sound like enough," Riku said, squeezing Light's hand that was still in his. Once or twice wasn't near enough, at least to him. She needed to be told how beautiful she was all the time, that way she would never forget.

Light blushed faintly, Riku's words and sincere gaze bringing that reaction out of her. She lowered her gaze to his shirt, and she realized just how lucky she was to have Riku for the millionth time that day. After not having him for so long, she realized how happy she was to be with him again.

Riku felt a small smile form on his face, the boy looking down at Lightning at her shorter height. The photographer managed to get a shot of that too, though he didn't notice. His focus was solely on Lightning.

Light glanced up and saw Riku's gaze, finding it adorable. She leaned up and kissed him on the lips, her hand lightly squeezing his shoulder as she held the kiss for a few seconds.

Riku closed his eyes at the kiss, his smile melting away so it didn't ruin the moment. His heart grew warm at the gesture, and even after they separated, it was still the same. He remembered calling Sora a sap so much in the past for the way he acted with Kairi, but now Riku understood. When you were in love, you didn't care about anyone else's opinion. You did what you wanted, and if that was showing affection to the person special to you, you did it. No matter what.

When Lightning pulled back from the kiss, she turned her head and let it rest on Riku's shoulder, her soft gaze at the rest of the dance floor. She loved this more than she thought possible.

As Riku danced with Lightning, his hand still holding hers and the other still on her waist, he caught Snow's gaze. He smiled slightly and nodded to the man, who was holding his wife in his arms as well. Snow smirked at him, which caused Riku to fight a wider smile. Clearly his feelings for Lightning were obvious.

When the song changed to another slow one, Light gently took her hand out of Riku's and set it on his shoulder before she extended her arms so her hands linked behind his back. She took her head off his shoulder and looked up at him, assuming he was alright with another dance.

Riku wrapped his arms around Light's waist, holding her close. His aqua eyes looked down at her pale blue ones, just gazing at her. She was beautiful, as she always was. It was hard for him to take his eyes off her.

Another picture snapped then, not that Lightning noticed. She gazed at Riku and enjoyed the dance while she could, the night magical even if it wasn't designed for her. Serah and Snow were happy, she and Riku were happy...everyone here was happy. It was great.

Riku lowered his forehead so it touched Lightning's, the boy closing his eyes as he danced with her. This was much different than how he danced with Kairi so long ago, both because it was a fast song and because she was his best friend. This was more intimate, on a lot of levels.

Light shut her eyes and leaned her forehead against Riku's, lightly nuzzling her nose against his a little bit in the song as a small sign of affection. She wondered what Riku's friends would think if they saw him like this. Little did she know, he was being even more affectionate with the dance than Sora and Roxas were with their girlfriends at times like this.

Riku felt his lips spread into a small smile at the gesture. A few years ago, he probably wouldn't have known how to respond to such a thing, but now...he returned it. He loved Lightning.

The dance went by too quickly for Lightning, and she didn't pull back even after a faster song started playing. She wanted to stay close to Riku. And she was sure he felt the same.

"Love you," Riku said softly, the louder music of the fast song making it so only Light could hear. He was sure she already knew that he loved her, but he wanted to say it anyway. It mattered to him that she heard it.
