A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Light opened her eyes at the soft-spoken words, Riku's face right in front of hers. "Love you too," she said softly, ignoring the loud music and the people dancing around her and Riku.

Riku smiled softly at the words, nuzzling his nose against Lightning's again. That was good. Really good. He couldn't imagine life without her now, or her love. It would be empty.

Lightning smiled softly at the gesture, though she withdrew after a few moments to look at the area where she first caught Riku before their forced photo session. "Let's go outside," she said softly. They could get away from the crowd for a while and just be together.

"Mm," Riku hummed softly nodding once he looked to where Lightning did. It was just beyond dusk, but he was sure that didn't matter. As long as he was with Lightning, he was okay with anything.

Light gently pulled back her hands from behind Riku's neck, her hands coming down to her sides. She started over towards that area while trusting Riku to follow, a path open where people weren't dancing. They could probably slip away without being noticed.

Riku followed Lightning in silence, his eyes remaining on her as he walked only a small step behind. He was staying close, of course, because he wanted to. He missed his parents and his friends, but he wanted to be with Lightning now.

It only took them a minute to get outside, and once they were there, Light sat down on the small wall and let her legs dangle. She'd have trouble getting up, but oh well. She wanted to get off her feet for a little while.

Riku followed Lightning and once she was sitting down, he walked over to her and stood behind her. He placed his hands lightly on her bare shoulders, looking out at the sea not too far off. Lights illuminated the area out here, but the moon was bright enough.

Lightning gently leaned the back of her head against Riku, not caring about her hair. He was warm and pleasant to be near. She still couldn't believe she found somebody she was so intimate with, but she was happy. Very, very happy.

Riku looked down at Lightning after a moment, smiling slightly. When had he stopped? "So what's next?" he asked her softly. After tonight, what happened?

"What do you mean?" Light asked softly, gazing at the ocean from her spot even if she felt Riku's gaze on her. She didn't quite get what he meant with the question, which was why she asked for clarification.

"Well, Serah and Snow will be leaving for their honeymoon," Riku said, his eyes still on the woman he loved. "Does that mean you're back to work?" She was still an Officer at the Corps.

Lightning looked down at her feet, thinking. "Lieutenant Amador said that he wanted me to start work again this week..." She enjoyed work, but after everything that happened, she just wanted to be with Riku. She couldn't do that when she was working.

"Mm," Riku hummed softly, looking back out at the ocean not too far off. That was what he thought, but it was alright. While Light was at work, he would go see how his friends were doing, and he'd be back by the time she got off.

Back to normal life, I guess, Lightning thought, shutting her eyes. She wasn't too excited for that; she had enjoyed being lazy this past week with Riku. But she also knew she couldn't keep him to herself; he had friends who loved him too.

"I guess we should enjoy the time we have left," Riku said after a moment of silence. He wanted to be with Light as much as possible before things went back to normal.

"We should," Light agreed softly. She didn't know what exactly they could do, but at least they were together now and at peace. She hoped she and Riku could avoid some hardship for a while.

Riku moved his thumbs over Light's skin, softly rubbing her shoulders as he stood behind her. Whatever she wanted to do, he would be right there with her.

Light opened her eyes and gazed at the ocean for a while, taking in Riku's presence and not speaking for a while. That was okay; they didn't have to speak. After a little while, she heard something going on inside: they were about to throw the bouquet.

Riku glanced over his shoulder, a small smirk finding his lips when he saw Serah separate herself from Snow and hold her bouquet in her hands. "Calling all ladies," he said softly, looking back down at Light. It was time for her to go catch the bouquet, if she was up for it.

Lightning "hmphed", taking her head off Riku's front and turning her head to look at him. "I can't stand up in this dress, remember?" she said with a crooked smile. So she would just have to miss the silly tradition.

"You forget how strong I am," Riku said with a smirk of his own. He stepped over a little and wrapped his arms around Light's back and under her knees, lifting her from her spot. She would be able to go get the bouquet, and he was sure Serah would at least want her to try.

"Hard to forget when you show off constantly by lifting me whenever you can," Light stated with a smirk. Riku was constantly looking for reasons to hold her in his arms and sweep her off her feet.

Riku turned a little and started to lower Light's feet back to the ground, and once she was standing, he still kept his arm around her back. You like it, he wanted to say, but he fought the urge. He heard the DJ call for all of the ladies again, and he smirked at the woman he loved. "Go on," he said, jerking his head toward the party.

"Alright, alright," Light grumbled, though she was just being a pain in the butt. She started towards the party, knowing Serah would kill her if she missed out on this tradition.
