Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua shook her head, frowning. "But...that doesn't make any sense..." Why would Riku and Kairi do that? They looked like they were worried sick over Sora while he was gone. What was going on?

"It's the truth," Sora said, looking back over at Aqua again. "And that's why I don't belong here." Aqua had her heart in the right place, trying to help him, but she had been mistaken over Riku and Kairi. Sora wouldn't ruin their lives by staying; he would disappear and never bother them again.
"Don't say that," Aqua told him in disapproval. She pushed herself up from the ground, frowning at Sora. "You're saying that you don't belong in your own home? That's absurd!" How could he say such a thing?

"My home means nothing to me if I don't have my two best friends!" Sora said, arms coming back down to his sides as he looked at Aqua. They hated him...treated him like dirt...They would definitely be better off if he disappeared. And he would do it whether Aqua approved or not.
Aqua stared down at Sora in disapproval, not liking his way of thinking. "Where's your faith?" she asked, unable to believe that he acted as if he didn't have any.
  • Author
"Aqua, it's over," Sora said. "How can't you see that?! They hate me, and there's no way I can fix it as long as I'm kept in the dark!" So what if he didn't have faith? There was nothing for him to have faith in.
Aqua looked away, not favoring Sora's tone. Of course, she wasn't his mother; she couldn't tell him not to talk to her that way. He was a teenager...and she wasn't much older. "...It's a two-way street," she said in softer tone, sad that he was coming to these conclusions. "If they won't talk to you, be the bigger person. Confront them."

"I can't do that," Sora said, shaking his head and staring at the ground in frustration. "They won't talk to me." They didn't want to fix anything; they just wanted to avoid him. That was the truth, whether Aqua realized it or not.
Aqua shook her head, closing her eyes. "This is so childish..." she said softly. They all may have been in their teens, but mentally they were older than that. They knew better...

Sora frowned, wondering if he should have felt insulted or not. Aqua was right; this was extremely childish. But he had tried to make things right before, and they didn't seem interested. So why bother trying?
"I'm sorry," Aqua said, unable to help herself. She felt awful. She brought him back to his home, but his friends didn't make Sora feel like that's what it was. That was terrible of them...

Sora looked up at Aqua, hearing her apology. "I'm leaving again," he said. "And this time, I'm staying away. It seems like they both would like it better that way." Whatever Aqua saw when he was gone must have been about something else. They hadn't been worried about Sora; they were probably happy he was gone.
Aqua opened her eyes, lifting her sight to Sora. "Absolutely not," she said. There was no way he was leaving his friends and family behind because of his own selfish desires. She wouldn't allow it.
  • Author
"I don't care if you order me to stay," Sora declared, eyebrows furrowing slightly as he stared at Aqua. If that meant that he had to fight her, then he would. He couldn't live his life in a place where he wasn't welcome. Going away was the one last thing he could do for his friends.
Aqua locked her jaw, and she closed her eyes and took in a breath to calm herself. This boy...he was pushing her limits. "Sora," she said, opening her eyes and looking down at him again. "If you leave, you'll only be weak. Without your friends, your Keyblade holds no power. Surely you know that." If he had no faith, then his Keyblade wouldn't follow his orders. It would betray him.
  • Author
"I have other friends," Sora said, looking Aqua in the eye. He had friends in every world that he ever visited except for a few like Castle Oblivion and The World That Never Was. He would be just fine with his Keyblade.
"But are they your Light?" Aqua asked, tilting her head to the side. Her voice was soft with Sora, the woman really wondering if he could survive without those two important people. Riku and Kairi were the most important people to him... Without them, he was obviously lost; that was why he was running away.
  • Author
Sora furrowed his eyebrows, looking down at the ground when Aqua made her point. Kairi was his Light; nobody else. "I've managed to wield the Keyblade the past few days despite that I don't have my Light," he said, looking back up at Aqua. He would survive.
"Perhaps." Aqua nodded in recognition. "But in order to fight in the Realm of Light, you need your Light. It may have a lingering influence on your heart, but once that fades away, where will you be?" she asked Sora, wondering if he knew the answer. She did, and it wasn't a good place.
  • Author
Sora grunted slightly, looking back down at the ground. He would sink into the Darkness again, wouldn't he? And this time, he knew that he wouldn't be coming back even if he did try to get his Light back.
"Please don't leave," Aqua insisted gently, looking down at the boy with soft eyes. "Something has to turn around." She would make sure it did, if she had to. Besides, she was going to have a talk with Riku and Kairi this afternoon.
  • Author
"Nothing's going to change, Aqua," Sora said softly, looking back up at Aqua. If they were going to, then it would have happened as soon as Sora got back yesterday and saw Riku and Kairi. Things got worse; not better.
"You don't know that," Aqua said with a shake of her head. Sora couldn't predict the future. She couldn't either, of course, but he at least needed to give it a few more days...
  • Author
"Like I said before, I know Riku and Kairi," Sora countered. "If things were going to change, they would have already." Him leaving should have set them off to the fact that something was wrong, but they already knew that and didn't care.
Aqua frowned, and she looked away from Sora and over to her friends. "Terra!" she called. This needed to be settled right away; she wouldn't let Sora leave his life behind.
