Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"You'll find out soon enough," Light said with a soft smile, leaning her head on Riku's shoulder and watching the DJ, Snow, and Serah bring things to a close. They had an hour or so before the event, so they could get changed and then go to it.
Riku was still confused, but he leaned his head down and placed a kiss on Light's head of pink hair anyway. He pulled back after a second, seeing Serah and Snow not too far off. They had to go say goodbye in a few. They would be gone for a week on their honeymoon.

Light gently ran her hand over Riku's back while it sat there, seeing Serah and Snow already saying goodbye to people as the crowd of people started to disperse. Everyone was ready for the event later that night, one that Serah and Snow would surely be at as well. But most likely, they'd avoid the crowds and stay with each other.
Snow clasped hands with one of his best friends, bringing him in for a small hug. He thanked him for coming to the wedding, since it was his and Serah's special day, one he had been waiting for. Everyone was leaving the reception, and soon they would be gone on their honeymoon. It would be a nice break away from the chaos often involving Cocoon.

Lightning watched the area clear out over time, people leaving once they said goodbye to the bride and groom. Since there were only a few of them left, it was time to say goodbye to Serah and Snow, since she probably wouldn't see them later.
Riku loosened his hold on Lightning when he saw that Serah and Snow were almost done saying goodbye to the other guests. It would be their turn next.

Light brought her hand back from behind Riku once she saw Serah and Snow were available, the young woman starting forward while trusting Riku would be right behind her. It wouldn't be a long, sappy goodbye; those were dumb.
Riku followed behind Lightning without thought, the action being natural. He saw Snow look over, a small smile forming on his face. He then pointed the two out to his wife, so they could say goodbye for now.

Serah looked where Snow pointed, seeing her sister and her boyfriend coming over to say goodbye. When Light was close enough, Serah took a few steps forward and hugged her, not caring if Lightning wasn't the softest person around. Today was a day that called for a hug.
Riku clasped hands with Snow and gave him a one-armed hug in congratulations, telling him so once they separated. The married man nodded to him with a smile, thanking him. Riku nodded once in return. He hadn't really been one for weddings, but this one had been nice.

When the two sisters separated, Serah stepped over and gave Riku a hug, thanking him for coming. Light glanced at the two before Snow came back to her mind, the young woman looking over at him. Would he hug her? She had never hugged him before.
Snow heard Riku tell his wife congratulations, and he motioned to Lightning with his hand. "Come here, sis," he said, opening his arms for a hug. She wasn't getting out of this that easily.

Light "hmphed", both at the title and the gesture. She should have known Snow would do something like that. Oh well. It's your day, Hero. She stepped forward and wrapped her arms around her new brother-in-law, actually not minding too much.
Snow looked down at his sister-in-law, his arms around her. "Thanks for coming, Light," he said. He knew she wasn't all for this wedding a while ago, but he would take care of Serah. He promised that during their vows, and even before them.

Light nodded faintly, looking up at Snow with serious but trusting eyes. "Don't let me down, Hero," she said softly. She was trusting Snow with her little sister, one of the only family members she had left. He had to protect her and take care of her. But Lightning wasn't worried about it; if she had been, she would have been set against the wedding.
Snow pulled back a little, setting his hands on Light's shoulders. "No worries," he said with a small nod. "She's in good hands." He would make sure nothing happened to Serah. Ever.

Lightning hummed with a small nod of her own, her hands coming back down to her sides. "Right," she said in agreement. She knew that. It was just hard to let go.

Snow smiled a little and lowered his hands from Light's shoulders, looking behind her to her boyfriend. "Riku," he called, catching the boy's attention. "Take care of Light for us, alright?" He knew Serah didn't want to leave her sister on her own completely, but as long as Riku was around, he was sure she would be alright.

Riku nodded once, his eyes glancing from Snow to Lightning and then her sister. "You got it," he said confidently, then looking back to Snow. He'd watch out for her.

Serah smiled at Riku, silently thanking him. She was glad Lightning had somebody, even if her sister was really independent. Even Light needed somebody by her side to keep her on the right track, and right now, that person was Riku.
Snow nodded to Riku once in gratitude, then moving over and setting a hand on Serah's shoulder. "Well, we've got a honeymoon to get ready for," he announced. "We'll catch you guys later." They wouldn't see them at the show later on this evening, but they would see them in a week.

"Yeah," Lightning said with a small nod. "See you guys later." She glanced out of the corner of her eye and saw Snow's parents coming to say goodbye, so it was time for her Riku to go. She nodded faintly to the couple before her before she started out, feeling...odd.
Riku followed Lightning out of the area, and he caught up to her in a few strides. He walked beside her, leaving the party and the newlyweds behind. He started to rolled the sleeves of his navy dress shirt up, getting more comfortable until they reached Light's place, where he could change, for whatever there was to do tonight. He still didn't know.

Light was quiet on the way home, her gaze staying down on the path. She was surprisingly emotional, on the inside, not the outside. She knew Serah was in good hands, and that she would be safe and happy with Snow. But it was hard to let go. Painful.
Riku glanced at Light when they were close to her house, and when they approached the front door, he put his hand on her shoulder. "You alright?" he asked her softly. She'd been quiet the whole way home.

Light hummed automatically, nodding faintly as well. She'd be alright. She was just holding on when she should have let go. This was how things were meant to be. She was never meant to be Serah's "parent" in the first place.
