Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"I wonder how he came up with such a bone-headed idea," Lightning said with a small smirk. Fireworks were dangerous, after all. And when Snow brought Serah up here, they weren't really careful. But she was sure that was different now.
Riku chuckled a little. "Serah obviously didn't mind," he said in Light's ear, heading straight. They finally left the dome, going back outside it. The cooler air reached him then, blowing his shorter hair behind him.

Lightning felt her hair blow, but she turned her head to the side so that the length of it wouldn't blow in Riku's face. "Those two went in there without paying attention to their surroundings," she said softly. "One blew up right in their faces." It scared them pretty badly from what she heard, but once they made it out, they cracked up laughing.
Riku smirked a little, glancing at Light before he flew over the crowds again, starting to where they originally got on his glider. "Did they learn their lesson?" he asked her softly. He was sure that was important to her, since it was her sister Snow had taken in there.

"Hopefully," Light said with a small smirk, voice soft as she still leaned against Riku and made sure her hair didn't blow right into his face. That would have been rude.
Riku continued flying over the beach, silence falling between him and Lightning. But that was alright; nothing needed to be said. He was comfortable with her, and he had a feeling she was the same with him.

Lightning leaned the side of her head against Riku's since his head was over her shoulder, her gaze staying on the fireworks as the big finale started. That went by quickly this year, but probably because the more you enjoyed something, the quicker it flew by.
Riku steered the glider so it was hovering in the air, holding it steady. It was the last part of the show, and after this, it was back to the house. That was alright, because he would be with Light.

Light wrapped her arms lightly over her stomach, watching the fireworks increase in number. That was when she remembered a legend she had almost forgotten. "If you make a wish on these fireworks, it'll come true," she said softly, recalling the legend easily. How could she have forgotten?
"Really?" Riku asked, his eyes staying on the fireworks. He never wished on shooting stars, and he always made fun of the Paopu legend as a kid. But...that turned out to be true; Sora and Kairi even shared one. Maybe this legend was true too.

"That's what people say," Light responded softly. She didn't know if it was true or not, and she would never admit to it, but she had wished on these fireworks before. It was wishful thinking that her dreams could magically come true from something so simple.
"Have you ever made a wish before?" Riku asked, turning his head a little to look at Light, his hands still on the bars of his glider, his arms boxing her in. If she did, he was curious as to what she wished for.

"Yeah, I have," Lightning admitted, feeling a little embarrassed. A tough, stoic warrior like her, making a wish on fireworks? Hard to believe for most people. But Riku probably would believe it, since he saw her softer side.
Riku smiled a little, seeing how colors splashed over Light's face with every firework. "What'd you wish for?" he asked her softly. She didn't have to say if she didn't want to, but he was curious nonetheless.

"Hmph. Like I'm gonna tell," Light said with a slight smirk, keeping her gaze on the fireworks. She was actually making a wish right now, one that she hoped came true. I wish...for forever, with the one that I love. Riku.
Riku smiled a little more, turning his gaze to the fireworks. A wish, huh? He'd never really made one, but there was first time for everything, right? Light proved that to him.

"If you're going to make a wish, you better hurry," Lightning said softly. "The show is almost over." Time was running out, and this day would soon come to an end. That was both good and bad, since she was tired but content with the day.
Riku smiled and closed his eyes, thinking. What could he wish for? There were so many things he wanted in his life, like Light instead of Darkness, and happiness instead of sorrow. His home back, and for things to be set right again. His smile faded as he concentrated, knowing that his time was limited.

Lightning closed her eyes and let the side of her head lean against Riku's, the girl not caring about the rest of the fireworks so much. She just wanted to be happy, and free, and with the one she loved. And she knew as long as she had the third item on that list, she'd have the other two as well.
Riku kept his eyes closed, though he could still hear the fireworks. They were still going, so there was still time. There was one thing he really wanted right now, after today. The wedding helped him realize a long-term goal, one that he wanted to reach. I wish...for her to say yes.

Light heard the fireworks come to a stop, the crowd cheering from their place. The show was all done for this year...The day was completed. There was nothing left to do but go home and be with the person who she was leaning into now.
Riku opened his eyes, seeing the last of the lights fade out. His smile faded, his wish made in just enough time. He looked to Lightning. "Time to go home?" he asked softly. He would take her on his glider; it was too dark for anyone to see it, and it would be faster.

"Yeah," Lightning confirmed softly without moving. It was time to go home and let this day come to a close. She was alright with that, because she never wished for time to be frozen. She wished for it to continue on as it was meant to, so she could create as much happiness for herself as she could. And do the same for the one she loved.
Riku wordlessly looked forward, moving his glider and going back in the direction of Light's home. He was tired, and he had a feeling Light was as well. They could get all the rest they needed tonight.

Lightning exhaled a soft breath, feeling the wind lightly go through her pink hair. She was dozing off like she had earlier, the coolness of the night air not bothering her since Riku was so close and so warm.
