Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"I was wondering how long it would take for you to realize I sneaked in behind your back," Lightning said with a smirk, her eyes remaining shut. It had only taken a minute for him to find her here, not that that was too surprising.
Riku crossed his arms over his bare chest, leaning his shoulder against the doorframe. "Playing tricks on me?" he checked softly. "That's not very nice." It was all in good fun, which was why he was playing along.

"Neither is taking up my whole bed," Light stated softly, her smirk fading away even though she was still teasing him. She implied it was alright for her to be in this position, though, since this was her bed.
"If I remember correctly, we share that bed," Riku pointed out, lifting an eyebrow as he looked across the room at the one he loved. It was partially his bed too now, wasn't it? He was kind of living with her now, anyway.
  • Author
"Sharing? Is that what you were doing earlier?" Lightning asked without moving, the answer obvious. No, he hadn't been sharing the bed at all.
"You're not doing it either," Riku pointed out. She was doing exactly what he had earlier, and he furrowed his eyebrows upon recognizing that she was mocking him. Great.
  • Author
"Nope," Light said with a smirk. "I'm proving a point." And that "point" was that Riku should have shared the bed earlier instead of sprawling out across it like she was doing now.
Riku pushed himself away from the wall, uncrossing his arms as he walked towards the bed. Once he was there, he stood right in front of Light's feet, then leaning forward, hovering over her as his hands held him up. "Point proven," he informed her. "So what are you going to do now?"
  • Author
"Probably fall asleep," Light said with a sigh, her smirk fading but still remaining faintly. "It's tiring, proving a point to somebody so stubborn." Of course, she was teasing him, and enjoying it. It was all in good nature for both of them.
"A soldier shouldn't be so tired after that kind of task, should she?" Riku taunted, lifting an eyebrow slightly, gazing down at Lightning. He enjoyed this, even if he was tired.

"A soldier shouldn't talk down to their commanding officer, should they?" Light piped in return, opening her eyes and looking up at Riku. He was the cadet, and she was the Officer; he shouldn't have insulted her like he just did, not that it was really an insult in the first place.
Riku furrowed his eyebrows slightly at that. "You're not on duty, and neither am I," he pointed out softly. "If we were, do you really think we could get away with contact like this?" He had his shirt off, was hovering over her, and they were teasing each other. Cadet and Officer weren't supposed to act that way.

"....Fine," Lightning mumbled in defeat, shutting her eyes. She was too tired to come up with a comeback to that one, so Riku won this round of the taunts.
Riku's expression softened up when Light closed her eyes, and he lowered his face, planting a gentle kiss on her lips. After a minute, he pulled back. "Relax," he told her softly. He was just joking with her.

"I'm a sore loser," Light mumbled, though her voice showed good nature. That had been fun, but now she really was exhausted. She just wanted to pass out and sleep now.
Riku smiled a little. "Yeah, you kind of are," he admitted softly, teasing her again. "But that's okay. Sore loser's need their sleep too." He was tired, and she was tired. It would be best if they got some sleep.
  • Author
"That they do," Light murmured in agreement, eyes still shut as Riku hovered over her. She was exhausted. She would probably sleep in pretty late tomorrow, but that was okay. She needed the rest.
Riku smiled a little and pushed himself away from Light, standing upright. "Alright then," he said. "Time to share the bed." He wanted to rest here too, and was sure Light wouldn't mind.
  • Author
"I dunno if I can move," Lightning said with a dramatic sigh, opening her eyes and seeing Riku standing upright now. She didn't expect Riku to try and move her, despite what she said. She'd do it herself.
Riku rolled his eyes at Lightning, shaking his head a little when his gaze rested on her again. She was ridiculous, but he loved her anyway.

If I had more energy, I'd smack him for rolling his eyes at me, Light thought with a smirk, pushing herself completely onto the bed and then rolling onto her side on the side of the bed opposite of Riku, her back to him. She sighed softly, head on the pillow and eyes shut. Much better.
Once there was room, Riku climbed into the bed, pulling the covers up to his waist. He scooted close to Lightning, naturally wrapping his arm around her side and stomach. He may have spent all day with her, but after how intimate they were earlier, he didn't want to be away from her. Ever.

Lightning set an arm over Riku's, already feeling herself doze off now that he was so close. "Goodnight," she murmured tiredly, feeling the warmth of his body and his toned muscles against her back, and his arm wrapped around her. She was always reminded of his strength, and how she could depend on him. She loved it.
"'Night," Riku said softly, his eyes already closed. It would be easy to fall asleep. He was tired and Lightning was with him, so he was comfortable. It would only take a few minutes.
  • Author
"Love you," Light mumbled, though the words were surely clear enough for Riku to understand. She had to say those words, just because they were true. They always would be.
