Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku felt himself smile weakly, the boy already starting to doze off. "Love you too, Light," he said quietly, his arm staying around her. He would always love her, no matter what.

Light lost consciousness within a minute of hearing those words, comfortable in Riku's soft embrace. She could get used to this, sleeping in his arms. She hoped that things would stay this way for a very, very long time.
Riku's breathing became even a few minutes after Light's, hers acting as a lullaby to lure him to sleep. He drifted into a deep slumber then, his form relaxing next to Light's for the night.

A few days later

Lightning got off the ship that she "borrowed" from Snow, arriving in a certain world. She didn't really steal it while he was away on his honeymoon; she left a note saying she needed it. Riku wasn't with her today, and riding Odin from world to world required too much energy. So she flew the ship to this world, Destiny Islands, by herself. Riku may have been happy, but she knew he would have been happier if his home wasn't frozen solid. That was why she came here, to see if she had the right method for unfreezing it. He didn't know she was here, but that was alright. He would find out if she was successful.

Darren flew from Cocoon to the frozen islands alongside his comrades, the few that were left of the team they had before. That guy, in the armor and with that weapon, he was the one that killed them. Well, they would get their revenge, and that was by hunting down their former boss. Lightning.

Light walked away from her ship, on the frozen beach as she neared her destination. She fought the urge to shiver as she stopped in front of the Ice Titan, seeing him frozen the same way he had been before. He was the key to unfreezing this world. He had to be.

Rena flew on her own ship with Darren, marveling at the space outside Cocoon and Gran Pulse. She hadn't even known about the existence of other worlds until Darren did some research and figured it out. So, they modified their ships to fly between the worlds and headed to their destination now. They were hunting down Lightning, since she was responsible for all their problems, or so they believed. They'd be in Destiny Islands in just a moment.

"She'll stand out like a sore thumb," Darren told his friends, continuing to fly toward their destination as he spoke through a headset. "When you see her, go for the kill." They couldn't waste time with research anymore; Lightning's powers were gone.

Gual grunted in understanding, eyes narrowed and set on their destination once it was in view. He was alright with killing Lightning; she was a nuisance. And now that they were off Cocoon, they could find other ways to acquire magic. No point in keeping their former Officer alive.

Darren entered the world first, the cold air instantly stinging his skin. Well, no surprise; the place was frozen. His eyes fell on a large...thing in the middle of the ocean, though, the sight catching his attention. What's that?

Rena's curious eyes darted away from the frozen thing to the speck of color in front of it, the pink easy to pick out. "There she is!" she hissed into her headset. Lightning was here on this world, just standing in front of that towering thing.

Darren looked down at the call, his eyes locating their target. "Move in," he ordered lowly. They would end it here. He lowered his ship, nose-diving to Lightning's position.

Lightning's trained ears picked up on the noise, the young woman standing in front of the Ice Titan. She grunted and lifted her gaze to the sky, eyes widening in surprise. Three ships, coming right at her! They were definitely enemies. She didn't see anywhere to go except onto the frozen ocean. She ran in that direction, hoping somebody would be dumb enough to crash into the Titan.

Darren was closest to Lightning, so when she suddenly changed direction, his eyes widened. The Titan! He tried turning his vessel, but he ended up hitting the leg of the beast anyway. He got knocked off his ship, and he slid along the ice, grunting when he came to a stop. "Get her!" he called to his friends, his voice strained because of the pain in his back.

"I got her!" Gual said, easily landing his ship and then charging out of it to go at Lightning while Rena went over and knelt by Darren, worried about him. He swung his axe at Lightning, and though he hit her sword, there was enough force to knock her back. Her back hit the Titan and then she fell down onto the ice, not losing her grip on her sword. Heh, not bad, Officer.

Darren grunted, opening his eyes to see that Rena was next to him. "I'm okay," he grunted, putting a hand on the ice and pushing himself up into a sitting position. It didn't matter if he was close to the action or not; his bow would travel far enough to hit his target.

Rena set a hand on Darren's back despite what he said, tempted to give him a potion. But he'd probably scold her for wasting the potion on "minor injuries". She bit down on her lip and nodded, seeing Lightning stand up and take Gual on in a fight. Without any help, he would perish like their other friends did.

My bow... Where's my bow? Darren thought, turning his head and looking past Rena, then gazing in the opposite direction. He found it several feet away, and he knew he could just the distance to his advantage. "Rena, go," he said to her, turning his head and looking at her. She had to be strong and help Gual.

Rena glanced back at Lightning and Gual, nodding slightly in obedience. She pushed herself up and unsheathed her sword before running over and joining the fight, defending Gual from an attack while dealing one of her own to Lightning. This witch would pay for all the trouble she caused.

Darren grunted, pushing himself up from the ground and starting for his bow. He picked it up and strung it, grabbing an arrow. He set it up on his bow and aimed, making sure he wouldn't hit Rena or Gual. He then released the arrow, firing off at his commanding officer.

Lightning's eyes widened slightly when she saw an arrow coming from her, and she stepped back just in time for the arrow to skin the tip of her nose. It felt like Deja Vu, and at that moment, she remembered receiving that same injury in the future from Darren. This must have just been coincidence.
Drat! Darren reached for another arrow and lined it up, firing it off soon after. He wouldn't stop with the assault. Either his friends would be a distraction or he would. It didn't matter which, since Lightning would be the one getting wounded.

No matter how hard she tried, throughout the whole fight, Light felt a sense of deja vu. Everything was almost identical to what it was before. She tried firing off a shot with her gunblade to kill Darren, but she missed. She tried getting a hold of Gual and killing him like she did to Kamon so long ago, but she failed. Either way, this battle held too many parallels for her to ignore. She cried out then, feeling an arrow pierce her side. This happened already too!

Darren was almost out of arrows, but that didn't matter. They were winning this thing, which he could definitely tell by the way Lightning cried out. Bullseye, he thought with a dark smirk. She was going down.

Lightning took a few steps back, cautious and letting the arrow stick out of her side as she kept her eyes on Rena and Gual. This happened towards the end of her other battle. If this was a true parallel, then--She couldn't finish her thought, Gual and Rena both coming at her at once. She recognized the move but couldn't stop it, Gual throwing her down through the ice and into the freezing cold ocean after Rena prohibited her from protecting herself. No!!

"Alright!" Darren hollered, his voice showing his pride at his friends. We did it, he thought silently. Lightning was done for now. No way could she survive the cold when she was soaking wet.
