Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning squeezed her eyes shut underwater, realizing that just like last time this happened, she lost her grip on her sword. But this time, Riku wasn't here to save her. I've only got a few moments to make an escape. She peeked her eyes open in the frigid water and put a hand into the bag on her leg, pulling out a Gravity Bomb. She looked up and saw Rena and Gual both standing in the same area, within two feet of each other. She chucked up the Bomb through the water, seeing it impact the ice underneath the teens' feet and react.

Rena gasped when the purple/blue aura appeared around her and Gual, her body immediately feeling limp. She and Gual both sank down to their hands and knees, a groan leaving her lips. She had never been the victim of a Gravity Bomb before. This was terrible.

Darren's smile immediately disappeared, the boy taking a small step forward. "Guys!" he called in worry. What was going on? What was that...glow?

Lightning reached the surface of the water and pulled herself out, running for her sword a few feet away. She picked it up and shifted it into a gun immediately, shooting a bullet at Darren while he was distracted. It wasn't a kill-shot, but it would keep him from following. And she still had about half a minute before the aura around Gual and Rena vanished. She hopped into her ship, starting it up. Time to go.

Darren cried out, dropping his bow and lifting a hand to his shoulder as he stumbled to the side. He winced at the pain, looking down and seeing blood. A bullet? That witch!

No! I can't go yet! Lightning put her sword away as she sat in the ship, looking over to see the Ice Titan. She had to see if she could save Destiny Islands while she was here. She started up her ship and started flying, making a circle in the sky while summoning Odin's mighty weapon to her. She cast Enfire on it and looked to the Ice Titan while also controlling the steering on her ship, planning on using the ship's momentum to help her land a heavy, heated blow at the beast's heart. A battle cry left her lips as she did just that, her sword cutting clean through the Ice Titan as she soared up to the sky. Okay, now she had to go.

Darren panted heavily, looking up from his wound to see what happened. The Titan...and Lightning. She's getting away!

Gual felt the aura around him and Rena disappear, the latter staying on her hands and knees as he pushed himself onto his knees. He looked up to the sky just in time to see Lightning get away. They couldn't recover in time to track her, but there was still a chance she'd die of her injuries. Or hypothermia, since she was drenched and freezing cold. It was only a matter of time before her body turned up.

Darren sighed in frustration, looking back down at his wound. There was no point in rushing now. They weren't in the shape. Lightning would have to wait.

Lightning ignored the arrow in her side, both hands on the wheel once she was out of Destiny Islands. She gritted her teeth to hold back the chills, wondering where she could go to recover. Darren managed to track her down to Destiny Islands somehow; there was no telling whether or not he could do that again. She'd have to avoid any civilization to keep innocent people safe. But where could she go? She briefly shut her eyes, the drip on her neck reminding her that this was all lining up with what happened in the future. And in that future, she had a safe world to go to. She opened her eyes, furrowing her eyebrows in determination. I'll go to the Land of Departure.

A few days later...

Riku's heart was beating with anxiety, the boy worried over the woman he loved. A day or two ago, he went back to Cocoon to see her, but she wasn't there. She wasn't on the world at all. He asked the others if she'd stopped by, but nobody knew. It was like she just disappeared, which didn't settle Riku's worries. If anything, it scared him. A lot. Which was why he and his friends were looking for her now, wondering what world Light could be on.

Sora was searching with Riku, everyone split into groups to try and track Lightning down. He was used to her running off on her own and getting into trouble, but that didn't settle his worries, or Riku's. He furrowed his eyebrows slightly when they neared their old home, but something felt off. There...wasn't as much Darkness? How was that possible?
Riku was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't sense the Darkness, or lack thereof. Lightning...where are you? She wouldn't just vanish like that, not without good reason. But what reason did she have?
  • Author
"Riku, do you sense that?" Sora asked, turning his head and looking over at his friend on his glider beside him. They were right by Destiny Islands, and there was definitely less Darkness than there had been the last time they visited there. Something was up.
"Mm?" Riku hummed, blinking and turning his head to look at his friend flying beside him. The question registered to him a little late, but he nodded once he understood. "Yeah...I do." Darkness, but given their location, there should have been a lot of it. But there wasn't.

Sora furrowed his eyebrows slightly behind his mask, seeing how out of it Riku was. "Let's go check it out," he said, directing his glider for their home world. He knew Riku was concerned about Lightning, but their home was important too. And it was possible the two were connected anyway.
Riku guided his glider in the same direction that Sora did, his eyes falling on their home. He hadn't been here in so long, not since he and Light had that argument here a while back. If she was here, though, he wouldn't yell at her. He would ask her if she was okay, and then hold her in his arms. He was so scared...

Sora looked around once they entered the atmosphere, noticing a difference in the world immediately. "It's...thawing," he said in confusion, flying lower to see things more clearly. But how was that possible? They hadn't done anything. This world couldn't have just unfrozen on its own, or it wouldn't have been frozen in the future Lightning saw. Something must have happened.
Riku heard what Sora said, and it was obvious that he was right. But...what about the Ice Titan? Wasn't that what was keeping the Islands frozen? The boy turned his head to look at the titan, but... "Sora," he said, a little bit of surprise in his voice.

Sora looked over where Riku was, his eyes growing behind his mask. "...What...?" he said softly in confusion. That had been where the Titan was, but now there was hardly anything there at all. Only part of the towering titan remained, Hades' monster melting along with the rest of the ice. How was that possible?
Riku turned his glider, heading over in that direction to check it out. The Titan couldn't have just thawed out; something had to happen to it. Something had to influence its melting.
  • Author
Sora followed Riku's lead, the two of them not taking long to reach the Ice Titan, or what was left of him. He hovered by him, examining what was left of him. Even if he was melting, he could tell that he was cut through somehow around his mid torso. Part of his upper torso was on the ground nearby, still melting. What, or who, could have done this?
Riku flew a little lower than Sora, circling around the Titan. "Any ideas?" he called to his best friend. Who could have done this? They had to have a lot of power to do such a thing.

Sora summoned his helmet away, looking at things without the tinted mask in his way. That was when some color in the snow caught his attention. Red. "...It was a person who did this," he said, flying lower and jumping off his glider to land in the snow by the small blood stains. What happened here? Did the Ice Titan try to fight back? No...it couldn't have. But somebody was wounded here.
Riku arched an eyebrow behind his helmet, flying over towards Sora's position. He hovered on his glider a few feet above, ripping his helmet off his head with one hand so he could see clearly. A person, yeah...but who?
  • Author
Sora furrowed his eyebrows, looking across the ocean and seeing the remains of a ship. That wasn't there last time he was there. He looked around, seeing more red scattered across there area. "There was some kind of battle..." But who would fight in this world, and who would kill the Ice Titan? Who would be strong enough, and smart enough, to do that?
