Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku's eyebrows furrowed, his eyes darting over the various spots of blood. But, he didn't get it. Who could have fought here? What kind of Darkness was still out there that they hadn't eliminated?

"...You smell anything?" Sora asked after a few moments, lifting his gaze to Riku on his glider. Sora could sense the lingering Darkness faintly, but Riku could probably pick out the identities of the people here. He knew Riku hated the Darkness in a lot of ways, but even he had to admit that his abilities came in handy sometimes.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed a little more at the question, and he swung his leg over his glider, jumping off of it. He fell a few feet down before he landed smoothly on his feet, thankfully not slipping on the ice. He walked toward where a spot of blood was, kneeling down next to it while still clad in his armor. The blood gave off a stronger scent, and when he caught it, he froze up. A rough grunt left him when he recognized that unique smell. He knew it, too well.

...I'll take that as a yes, Sora thought, staying in his spot and looking at Riku. Whoever that patch of blood belonged to, he knew who it belonged to. He'd wait for his friend to say it instead of drag it out of him.
"...It's Lightning's blood," Riku said, his voice tight with fear. Lightning... Was she okay? Alive? He didn't know what to think. It was hard for him to even picture her fighting someone, not knowing who could be the villain. Or maybe he did know, and just hadn't thought of it yet.

Sora grunted, having not expected to hear that. Lightning? Lightning was here, and she was wounded? How could this have all happened behind their backs. "...There's not enough blood in any one spot to show she got any fatal wounds," he said, trying to help Riku out. It didn't look like she...died.
"She got hurt, nonetheless," Riku said, glaring at the spot of blood in front of him. He then looked at the others, seeing where the last one was. She must have gotten away, thank goodness.

"Well, at least it looks like she made it out of this," Sora said, squinting to try and see the different footprints in the snow. Just at a quick glance with his trained eyes, he saw at least four different prints, one of them Lightning's. Lightning would survive this; she was incredibly strong.
Riku pushed himself up from the ground, standing on his feet once more. "That's the thing," he said softly, looking back to Sora with serious yet worried eyes. "Where'd she go?" That was what he wanted to know. He wanted to see her. No, needed to see her.

Sora shrugged faintly. "I don't know, but it doesn't look like she's still here," he said, being logical since Riku's emotions seemed to be getting the better of him in some ways. Geez, never thought that was possible. Oh well. "So let's keep searching other worlds." She had to be around somewhere.
Riku nodded a little and glanced back down at the blood before he turned around, approaching his glider. He jumped up high enough that he could easily climb on, and that was when he placed his helmet back on his head. He had to find Lightning; he wouldn't rest until he did.

Sora's helmet reappeared on his head, the teen also summoning his glider to him. He and Riku would search the rest of the day like they had done yesterday and then sleep in Radiant Garden for the night. They had to be well rested if they were going to track Lightning down.
Riku left Destiny Islands alongside Sora, and they searched for Lightning on various worlds for the rest of the day. When they went back to Radiant Garden, they were empty-handed, and he was sure that it was obvious how worried he was. He left Lightning when she was happy and okay with the way things were. So what caused her to run off, and get hurt?

Lightning stood against a wall at the entrance of Radiant Garden, arms folded over her chest and gaze lowered to the ground. She had been waiting for a few hours in this world. After checking in with Kairi, the girl said that everyone was out looking for her, but they should have been back by nightfall. Everyone was back, except for her boyfriend and his best friend. She wondered where he was, not noticing the two arrive in this world.
Riku landed inside the entrance area of Radiant Garden, this being where he and Sora took off. And he wouldn't mind the longer walk back. He had some things to think about, or someone. He was so caught up in the idea that he neglected to notice her against the wall, his back to her as he hopped off his glider, his armor fading away.

Sora was more observant that Riku for once, noticing the familiar figure leaning against the wall once his armor was gone. He lightly nudged Riku with his elbow, nodding in Lightning's direction even if she didn't seem to notice them. Well, they finally found her.
Riku glanced over at Sora, but then he followed his motion toward the wall. The shadows didn't do much to cover up the figure standing there, relief washing over Riku when he saw her. "Light," he called. She was alright, thank goodness.

Light looked up when she heard her name, coming out of her thoughts. Sora and Riku were finally here. How long had they been there? "Riku," she called in return, pushing herself off the wall. It didn't matter how long they had been there; she was glad to see both of them, since Sora was a friend too.
Riku felt himself smile a little, and he started toward Light's position in the darkness. She didn't know how relieved he was to see that she was okay, and that she survived whatever battle occurred on the Islands.

Lightning glanced at Sora out of the corner of her eye and saw him wave to her faintly before he started into town, giving her and Riku some privacy. She stopped in front of her boyfriend, her hands coming back down to her sides. He was a sight for sore eyes.
Riku stopped once he and Lightning were face to face. "...You're okay," he said, looking at her. She didn't look hurt, at least on the surface. Did she heal herself? Did she go somewhere to recover?
  • Author
"Yeah, I'm okay," Lightning said with a small nod. She was fully recovered from the hypothermia and the injuries she received in battle. She was tired from being on guard, but this was a tiredness she was used to as a soldier. Her stamina kept her going, so she was fine.
Riku smiled a little, glad to hear that. He had been so worried about her once he saw the blood. But who did she get in a fight with, and... "Where were you?" he asked, his smile fading. Where did she run off to?
  • Author
Light glanced down at Riku's chest, having expected that question. "It's a long story," she said softly. She had to tell him why she went to Destiny Islands in the first place, the battle, and then her recovery. It would be quite the tale.
"I've got time," Riku said with a small shrug. "Walk with me." He jerked his head behind him, toward town. It was late anyway, so it was best they started back.
