A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku walked to the house with Lightning right by his side, and when they were inside, he noticed that the living room was empty. That probably meant Sora was with Kairi. Regardless, it was late, so it would be best they headed up to bed.

Light glanced around the room, seeing it empty. Somehow, that wasn't too surprising. Now that the crisis was averted, everyone wanted to sleep in their "homes". She supposed she and Riku could have gone back to her house, but she personally didn't feel like the hassle. Tonight, here was fine.

Riku glanced back at Light briefly before he started forward, trusting her to follow. He was exhausted, mentally and physically, both because of his worry for Light. He pushed himself past the point of exhaustion, really, and now he was paying the price. It would hopefully go away with a good night's rest.

Lightning followed Riku, her hands by her sides since they couldn't walk side-by-side up the stairs too easily. He was so tired, wasn't he? She was too, but he was almost worse than she was. She felt bad for that, knowing it was her fault.

Riku approached the room where he and Light would sleep, it being the same one they had always used. He started towards the bed, slipping his shoes off before he collapsed on the bed. He set his elbows on his knees and leaned forward, running his hands over his face and through his hair, exhausted.

Light walked into the room after Riku, taking off her boots and seeing his position on the bed. With soft eyes, she walked around it, sitting on her knees on the bed behind Riku. She lifted her hands and lightly started rubbing his shoulders. I'm sorry I made you worry so much.

Riku lowered his hands from his face when he felt the gentle touch, sighing softly in comfort. "You know...I must really love you if I stressed this much," he said with a weak smile, not that she could see it. But he did love her, and he was concerned for her. He was sure that came across to Sora the past few days.

Light kept massaging Riku's shoulders lightly, her eyes on what she could see of his face, which wasn't much. Even if she caught a little bit of that smile, she remained serious. "Sorry," she murmured. She just had no idea things would turn out this way. It was unpredictable.

"It's alright," Riku said softly, closing his eyes as his smile faded. Light hadn't meant to cause any stress or worry to him, though he did wish she could have contacted him in some way so he could see she was okay. But she didn't have the chance; she had been hiding from Darren and his friends. That was a good enough reason for him. As long as you're safe.

Lightning didn't bother responding, continuing to rub Riku's shoulders. It wasn't really alright, but she wouldn't argue the point. Both of them would feet better after a good night's rest.

Riku eventually relaxed, Lightning's gentle touch helping with that. She didn't have to do this, but it was nice all the same. He really did love her; she was great.

Light's hands eventually got tired, and Riku seemed as relaxed as he was going to get from that gesture anyway. She lightly wrapped her arms around his upper torso, the girl lowering herself on her knees so the side of her head rested on Riku's shoulder. She shut her eyes, her forehead against his neck a little. She was drained.

Riku kept his eyes closed, though he lifted his hand from his lap to one of Lightning's arms. She was tired, he could tell. "Ready for bed?" he asked her softly. He had some clothes to change into here, and he would give her some to sleep in.

"Yeah," Light said softly, though she didn't move. She didn't feel like releasing Riku, his warmth nice. She wished she could have cuddled with him a few days ago when she had hypothermia, but it was too late to do anything about that now.

"I'll lend you some of my clothes," Riku said softly, rubbing Lightning's arm for a second before he stopped. They would be a little big, but more comfortable than her skirt and trenchcoat, he was sure.

"You have some here?" Lightning asked softly, surprised. Riku didn't really stay in Radiant Garden, so she thought he had all his clothes at her place. But apparently she was wrong.

"Mm," Riku hummed with a faint nod. "I brought some over not too long ago, just in case I stayed here for a bit." It was back when he and Light were going through a rocky phase. A majority of his clothes, however, were no longer in Traverse Town, but at her place. He considered that his home now, actually.

Light hummed softly in recognition, gently leaning into Riku a little more in tiredness. She could fall asleep in any position as long as he was near. Falling asleep on his back a few days ago proved that.

Riku couldn't help but smile crookedly when he felt more of Light's weight on his back, and he squeezed her arm. "Claire, c'mon," he prodded her gently, using her real name without thought. They needed to get to bed.

Light smiled faintly, opening her eyes. Riku was right; it was time for both of them to go to bed. She sighed softly and pulled back, gently slipping her arms out of Riku's grasp as well and leaning back on her knees so he could get up.

Riku pushed himself up from the bed when he was free of Light's hold, not that he wouldn't want it later. He walked over to the dresser in the room, pulling open the top drawer. It had a few pairs of shorts and some shirts, ones that would be comfortable enough to sleep in.

Lightning watched Riku for a few moments before she laid down, aware that she couldn't sleep right away. She had to get changed. She laid on her side facing the same direction she had been before, eyes shutting and hands on top of each other on the pillow. So tired...

Riku glanced at Lightning once he found something for her to wear, as well as some lounge pants for himself. "Hey, Sleeping Beauty," he called then, a small smile on his face at how tired she looked. She needed to wake up to change, at least.

Light peeked her eyes open, seeing Riku's smile. "I'm awake," she mumbled. He could go get changed first, since he was already up. If she was awake, she'd go in after him.

Riku lifted an eyebrow slightly. "Yeah, sure," he said, not believing her. She was conscious, but not fully awake. He knew that much.
