Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Claire folded the note in half before turning around, holding it between her fingers as she went back into the living room. She saw Riku didn't move from his spot, and that was fine. Good, actually. She bent down a little and set the note on his torso before softly starting out, hoping he wouldn't wake up.
Riku felt something touch the skin of his stomach, and after a minute, he moved his arm, seeing a folded piece of paper there. ...What? he thought, confused. Light? Did she do this?

Claire was about a minute away from the house by the time Riku found the note, her pace at a walk. Her ship was at the edge of town; she'd go there and then fly to...wherever she was going. She didn't have a plan yet.
Riku sat up and unfolded the piece of paper, and when he saw it was addressed to him, he knew instantly who it was from. It was Lightning that did this, and when he read the note, he felt his heart sink to his stomach. No...

I don't want to go home, Lightning thought, still walking. But where else would she go? What did she even hope to gain out of this? Why did she have to keep thinking of herself as Claire?
Riku stared at the paper in disbelief before he brought his free hand to his face, covering his eyes. Way to go, he scolded himself. You pushed her away. Now you've got nothing.

Claire felt the tears resurface, and she was so distracted by her thoughts that she didn't realize her feet were leading her astray. She wasn't going towards the ship anymore. Instead, she found herself in a graveyard. Her feet carried her down the paths, though she was ready to burst into tears from being in such a place. My parents...
Riku felt his eyes begin to sting, but he refused to show sorrow. He could feel it, but he wouldn't show it; he wasn't that weak...was he? Maybe he was, and he just kept telling himself he wasn't so he would come off as a stronger person. Clearly he wasn't.

Light found the tombstones, collapsing to her knees in front of one of them. She didn't care if she looked silly; she was the only one here. She wrapped her arms around the stone a little and hugged it, eyes shutting. Daddy...
"Stop acting like you're worthless because of the Darkness! Stop blaming it for making you who you are. You decide who you are." Her voice echoed in Riku's head, and it killed him inside. She was right, wasn't she? Lightning had always been right. He was just too hard-headed to accept it. And now, he lost her. Or did he? No, I haven't. I won't lose her. He couldn't.

"...I miss you," Claire whispered, fighting the moisture behind her eyes. Mom, Dad, I miss you so much. Why did this have to happen to us? Do you know how screwed up I am because of this? Did they even recognize her as their daughter anymore?

Darren was the only one to come to Radiant Garden, the other two hanging back for a while. He was the leader, so of course he took the action this time. It didn't matter anyway. He flew over the place in his vessel, looking for any signs of his target. He found her, in a cemetery. How fitting.

Lightning opened her eyes, turning her head to the side and seeing a smaller tombstone. Claire. Loved and cherished daughter. They had a stone for her too, since they thought she died in the fire. But Claire survived, like Riku pointed out.

Darren landed his ship just outside the cemetery, but he walked in soon after. "You know, I always hated graveyards," he admitted, his bow and arrows in his hands now. "But this is a very fitting place for you." It would be, once he was done with her.

Claire blinked at the voice, turning her head and seeing somebody walking towards her. Darren...How did he track her down here? Why did this have to happen right now?

Darren stopped walking, though he lifted an eyebrow at Lightning. "You agree?" he asked then, seeing her expression. She was clearly heartbroken. About what, he wasn't sure, and he didn't care. It was his duty to kill her, and that was what he'd do.

Lightning kept her arms around the tombstone lightly, her eyes still on Darren. "...You like torturing your enemies, don't you?" she asked softly, not waiting for an answer. "Leave me alone to my own misery. Inflict your own later." She was in bad enough shape as it was.

"How about I hit two birds with one stone?" Darren said, lifting his bow and setting up an arrow, almost casually. "Let's do a combination of the two. It won't take nearly as long." She was distraught, which only gave him more motivation to end her life.

Lightning kept her position, her back turned towards Darren but her head turned so she could see him. She didn't respond, nor did she reach for her sword. She didn't feel like it.

Darren laughed upon seeing that Lightning wasn't moving to defend herself at all, the sight amusing him. "Man, this is going to be a piece of cake," he said, shaking his head a little as he lifted his bow. "You're making this too easy." But he would take the opportunity.

  • Author
"You want a challenge? Come back another day." Maybe Lightning would fight back then, if she was in the mood. She wondered if Darren actually would kill somebody who was defenseless.

"I'll pass, but thanks," Darren said, shutting one eye as he aimed. "You'll be with Daddy soon, don't you worry." He pulled back his arrow, which quivered with tension from the wire of his bow. This would be over before she knew it.

  • Author
Claire looked at Darren, instinct telling her to defend herself. But she didn't move. She didn't even budge when he set his bow and prepared to shoot. Yeah...Mom...Dad...I'll see you soon.

Darren smirked, releasing a small chuckle as he aimed. Fire, he thought. He then released his arrow, seeing it fly directly toward his target. He never missed.

Light muffled a cry, squeezing her eyes shut when she felt the arrow pierce her. It hit her heart, but wasn't in deep. It'd be a slow, painful death. Her grip on her father's tombstone loosened as she fell down onto her side, her own gravestone right in front of her.
