Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Forget about it," Lightning said softly, shutting her eyes after briefly opening them and looking out in front of her. She accepted Riku's apology, and she hoped he accepted the one she gave in the note. She was sorry for not being able to help him. Even if he didn't forgive her for that, she wanted to move on.
"Alright," Riku said, agreeing. He would do that to take away a bit of stress from Light. "Can I take you home now?" And he meant the real home, her home. Cocoon.

Light hummed softly, nodding faintly as well. It was time to go somewhere else, because she really did feel like she was going to collapse. But she wouldn't let death overtake her. She had to survive, at least for Riku. They sort of got off topic with her having a reason to live, instead talking about what made her want to give up. But...she felt a little better, so she did want to live. Giving up wasn't her style anyway.
Riku moved his arms at the motion, then rising to his feet as he held Lightning to his chest. He was tired, but he headed for Kairi's anyway. He would tell them what was going on, and then leave for Cocoon.

Lightning leaned her head against Riku's shoulder again once she was secure in his arms, her tired blue eyes opening and going up to his face. "Riku, can I...?" Can I pass out now? She couldn't hold on any longer; she wasn't strong enough to. But now that a lot of the effects from the confrontation woke up, she was pretty sure she wouldn't die in her sleep. That was what she hoped.
Riku glanced down at Lightning at the unfinished sentence, and upon seeing the look in her eyes, he nodded. "Wake up soon, okay?" he told her softly. He didn't want to lose her.

"Will you be with me?" Light asked softly, her eyes staying on Riku's. She had permission to go under now, but...She still needed to know that she wasn't going to be alone. That would give her extra motivation to wake up.
Riku nodded, humming as well. He wasn't going anywhere. He wanted to be with her, through thick and thin. Always. Besides, after what just happened, and knowing Darren was still out there, he wasn't about to leave her side.

Light hummed faintly in recognition, lowering her head a little on Riku's shoulder and shutting her eyes. Alright then. It was time for her to let go and trust she'd be strong enough to wake up from this. She had no other choice, since she was so absolutely drained. Fighting while staying conscious was no longer an option.
Riku pulled Lightning a little more towards his chest, though he doubted it was possible. Regardless, he did it, and kept walking. It was time to take Lightning--Claire, home.

Later that day

Lightning was starting to come to a few hours after passing out on Riku, the young woman losing consciousness before they reached Kairi's house. But Kairi's house wasn't where they were now. Riku brought her back to her own home, Cocoon, where she was resting in her own bed now. It was mid-afternoon, a contrast to when it had just been a little after sunrise in Radiant Garden when the encounter with Darren happened. She really had been out most of the day.

Riku ran the towel over his wet hair, in the bathroom attached to Lightning's room. He'd taken the opportunity to shower while she was sleeping, and pretty much get cleaned up in general. Lightning had been sleeping a majority of the day, and occasionally he checked on her to make sure she was still breathing, still with him. She was, thank goodness.

Light rolled over onto her other side, curling up a little underneath the blankets. Now that she was coming back to reality, she was remembering everything that happened within the past two days. It was a lot to take in, and the weight of reality made her want to pass out again. That, and she still felt exhausted.
Riku walked out of the bathroom, only wearing his jeans at the moment. His back was still damp from the shower and the steam in the bathroom. He washed his shirt earlier today, when Lightning was sleeping, and he put it on her dresser so he could put it on when he was through cleaning up.

Light sighed, unaware of the other presence in the room since Riku was quiet. She rolled onto her stomach and put her arms under the pillow, snuggling her face against it. Just let me avoid this a little longer...please? And then another thought came to her mind. Wasn't Riku supposed to be with me when I woke up?
Riku stopped in his tracks when he heard the sigh, seeing Lightning move in her bed, the covers moving with her. He smiled softly and approached the piece of furniture as well, putting his knees on the bed and putting one hand down on it so he could steady himself. He then lifted his other hand to her shoulder. He leaned down, planting a light kiss on the young woman's head. There was no rush on her waking up; Lightning could take her time.

"Riku?" Light murmured into her pillow, feeling that hand on her shoulder and the kiss on her head. So he was with her after all. Thank goodness. She wasn't completely alone, and being with him helped lift some of the pressure off her shoulders. She needed that.
"Mm," Riku hummed, pulling back slightly. He moved his hand from Light's shoulder to rest on the bed on the other side of her, the boy holding himself up. She was awake, and he was relieved for that. She was still with him, and finally got enough rest. Or so he hoped.

"Can we cuddle?" Light murmured, surprising herself with the request. She hadn't even thought about it, but that was what her heart wanted. She wanted to feel warm, and not from the blankets that were on top of her. She wanted to be warm because of contact with another human being.
One side of Riku's mouth turned up into a crooked smile. "Sure," he said softly. He lowered himself to the bed completely, not hesitating wrapping his arm around Light's back as he faced her. Cuddling was nice, even he could agree to that.

Light rolled over onto her side to get closer to Riku, lowering herself off the pillows so her head was below his chin. She lifted an arm and wrapped it around his back, feeling the moisture. "I hope that isn't all sweat," she mumbled, referring to the dampness that lingered from his shower.
Riku chuckled once softly. "Nah, I'm squeaky-clean," he said softly. If that was sweat, he would have to go take another shower. But it wasn't.

Lightning hummed softly in recognition, moving a little closer and pressing her forehead against Riku's chest. Her bangs stuck a little because of the dampness, but that was alright. She didn't plan on moving away any time soon, and she hoped that Riku was thinking the same thing.
Riku looked across the pillow, to the window on the wall not too far off. He saw a bird fly by, but he didn't think much of it. "You know something..." he started softly, keeping his arm around Lightning's back. "I missed this bed." He slept in it for so long that it wasn't like the one at Kairi's; not nearly as comfortable.

Light furrowed her eyebrows slightly, confused. "What's so special about this bed?" she asked softly. She didn't know that they were in her home, though she should have guessed it by the sheets and the comfort of the bed. She hadn't opened her eyes yet, and she was a little out of it anyway.
