A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Claire felt herself calm down after a minute, the pain going back to just one part of her heart instead of her whole chest. She could breathe again. She sighed and let her form become less tense under Riku's arm. That whole thing just made her want to collapse, even if she wasn't sleepy.

Riku lowered his lips to Lightning's head again, planting a small kiss there as he rubbed her arm. Good job, babe, he thought silently. She was being strong, and he admired her for that. She had to be scared, but she was fighting. That was important.

"Thanks, Riku," Lightning said softly, voice reflecting some weariness. She wouldn't be here without him, obviously. He saved her life countless times, but today was the closest she came to death. And she hoped that was the closest she would ever get.

"Mm," Riku hummed softly, his lips still in Lightning's hair. He didn't pull back, closing his eyes once the kiss was complete. He would always be here for her. He even said that a minute ago. He wouldn't lie about such a thing.

Lightning stayed in her current position, feeling Riku's lips in her hair. She had been thinking about something since their argument last night, and her experiences this morning. And that made her come up with a request she desperately wanted to make. Even now. "Can I ask you to do something else?" she asked him softly.

"Mmhm," Riku hummed once again, keeping his eyes closed. He continued to trace circles on Light's arm, hoping it helped a little bit. Even if it didn't, he wanted to show her some signs of affection. But he was curious about what else she needed.

"Go make amends with your parents," Claire said softly. She couldn't do that with her parents; they were already gone. Riku had to appreciate and be close to his family while he could. Family was everything.

Riku pulled his head away from Lightning a little at that, opening his eyes to look down at her. "But..." he said softly, trailing off. That meant she would be alone. What if she needed him while he was gone?

"You're never guaranteed you'll have them tomorrow, Riku," Claire stated softly, opening her eyes and turning her head to look at him. "You need to talk to them while you have the chance. Keep your family close." She couldn't do that with her parents anymore, or Serah, really, since she was married and technically belonged to Snow now. Ven was the last relative she had that she could really cling to.

Riku didn't say anything, instead staring down at Lightning. She was right; he knew she was right. But that didn't mean the talk would be easy, or that leaving her here, alone, would be easy.

"...Take me with you, if you want," Lightning said softly. She could suck it up and deal with her injuries if Riku needed her with him when he spoke to his parents. She didn't want to intrude on things, though, so if he didn't want her there, she wouldn't be. Simple as that.

Riku did want Lightning to go with him, but she wasn't in the condition to. "No...you stay," he said softly, glancing away for a second. He was strong enough to face his parents alone, even if he thought the opposite the other night.

Lightning glanced down, seeing that she still held onto Riku's shirt pretty tightly. She released it and lightly wrapped that arm over his stomach, gaze going across the room. She would stay here, then; she wouldn't go if Riku didn't want her to. Being alone was risky, though; she had nobody here she could ask for help. Serah and Snow were still on their honeymoon, Sazh had Dajh to worry about, and Hope couldn't see her in this condition. Who could stay with her?

"But...would you mind if Sora came to stay, just as a precaution?" Riku asked softly, looking back to the girl he cherished. He wouldn't be gone long; just long enough to settle things with his parents. Then he would be back. It would settle his worries if Sora were here to make sure Lightning was alright.

Light nodded faintly, looking up at her boyfriend's face. "That's fine," she said softly. Sora could be a goofball, but he had a level head when it came to trouble. Obviously Riku realized that as well if he was going to trust him to take care of her, if she needed the help at all.

"Okay," Riku said with a small nod. "I'll stop by Radiant Garden and send him over here when I leave." He would make sure he wasn't in Traverse Town too long. His parents knew Lightning, and if he said that she needed him, they'd hopefully understand and let him go.

"Alright," Lightning responded, her voice soft. She was just glad Riku agreed to see his parents. The other night in the argument, he brought them up, and since then, she really wanted him to go talk to them. She wished she could talk to her own parents, but she couldn't. So, she really wanted Riku to be alright with his parents, since he still had them.

Riku lowered his eyes from Lightning to her arm around his stomach. He would go soon, later on today. It was the afternoon anyway. He would be with Light a little longer, then go to Traverse Town to talk to his parents.

Lightning took her arm off Riku's stomach after a moment, her eyes following the motion. "You should go," she said softly. She wanted him to set things right as soon as possible, so that he could be happy again. And while he was out, he would probably check on his home, too. She knew that was important to him.

"Already?" Riku asked, his eyebrows furrowing. He wasn't planning on leaving so soon, but....Lightning was being really insistent on this. If it made things easier for her, he guessed he would go.

"It's important that this gets done," Lightning said softly, looking back up at Riku's face again. She wished she had a chance to talk to her parents, but she didn't. Riku still had his parents, so he needed to be alright with them. Family was obviously important to him too, since he was so stressed about his situation with his parents.

Riku nodded a little, his eyes on Lightning's pale blue. "Alright. I'll go," he said in agreement. He hoped his parents had enough time to think things over; after all, he gave them nearly two or three months. Besides, soon...or so he hoped...they would be family to Lightning too. Maybe.

Light nodded faintly, leaning up and giving Riku a small kiss on the cheek before she pulled back. She was glad he was agreeing; she previously suspected that it would be harder to get Riku to face the conflict than this. But she was alright with him proving her wrong.

"Take it easy while I'm gone," Riku said, loosening his hold on Lightning after briefly smiling at the kiss. He always did love her affection. "I'll tell Sora to get here as soon as possible." He didn't want Lightning by herself for too long. Sora being here was just a precaution, just in case.

"Alright," Lightning said with a small nod. She would just relax here on the couch, and maybe get a cup of tea. She wouldn't be stupid and do anything strenuous. Right now, she couldn't afford to. Riku would be infuriated if he came back and she did something dumb like that.
