A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Sora glanced over at Ventus, confused when Vanitas didn't taunt them. Was it that he couldn't speak, like Terra's Lingering Sentiment? Ven seemed confused as well, but he started forward and initiated a battle with Vanitas, leaving Sora in the dust.

Vanitas's Sentiment didn't move, simply waiting for Ventus to reach him. It wouldn't take long, considering the boy's speed. But that was okay; he was ready.

It didn't take long for Ven to reach Vanitas, and when he did, he automatically swung his blade at him. He didn't know he was still alive in this way, but he and Sora would put an end to him.

Aqua stood on the shore, her eyes downcast on the water. It'd been more than a few hours since Ven and Sora left, nearly evening now. They left this morning. It couldn't take that long to get information from Master Yen Sid, could it?

Ventus couldn't believe how things turned out. When he and Sora had worn down Vanitas's Lingering Sentiment, Sora insisted that he leave just in case the Sentiment was able to fuse with him. And so Ven fled and followed Sora's last instructions, going back to Destiny Islands to alert the others as to what was going on. A portal appeared in front of him and he went through it, entering the world and immediately spotting people on the beach.

Aqua lifted her gaze to look at the island, but instead, her eyes found the sky. She thought she noticed something much bigger than a seagull up there...and she was right. Ven?! But she also noticed that nobody came in the portal behind him. "Terra!" Aqua hollered, turning her head and glancing over at him in worry before her gaze fell back on her best friend, who was flying in. Where was Sora? And why was Ven back?

 

Roxas turned his head, in the middle of talking with Namine when he heard Aqua yell. By the sound of her voice, she was alert. And now that he followed her gaze, he was too. Was that Ven? Where was Sora?

Terra ran over to Aqua, stopping beside her and watching their best friend descend. But the portal disappeared, and it seemed like he was the only one coming through. He glanced over at the other two teens on the beach before he looked back at Ven, who just landed a few feet away.

 

"Terra, Aqua," Ven said breathlessly, having hurried home as quickly as he could to deliver his message. He would have said more, but he was still out of breath. If he could just have a minute to recover, then he could speak.

"What is it, Ven?" Aqua asked upon hearing him speak to her and Terra. Something was obviously wrong, especially by how rushed he sounded. Where was Sora? What was going on?

"Sora's in trouble," Ven said after a moment, his eyes finding Terra and Aqua behind his mask. "We went to Master Yen Sid, and he said that Vanitas was still alive as a Lingering Sentiment. So we've been fighting him, but Sora sent me back in case Vanitas could fuse with me again." He felt really bad about leaving Sora alone in the battle, but the brunet had been insistent that he leave before they found out what Vanitas was capable of.

 

Terra frowned, eyes alert and on his best friend. Vanitas...He should have known that he wouldn't die that easily. And Sora was fighting him as they spoke. That wasn't comforting, since he was under the impression that Sora couldn't focus in battle these days.

Aqua blinked in shock at the part about Vanitas, and she turned her eyes to Terra immediately. "We should go," she said with a nod, eyebrows furrowed in seriousness. They couldn't let Sora fight alone.

 

Roxas glanced at Namine and gave her a look of question, but he immediately turned back around. He then started toward the three friends gathered near the water at a fast jog. Something was wrong... He could feel it.

"Ven, where are they?" Terra asked, stepping forward and setting a hand on his friend's shoulder. They needed to go assist him, quickly. Vanitas never did fight fairly, and it wasn't good for Sora to fight alone.

 

"At the Keyblade Graveyard," Ven said, noticing both Roxas and Namine running over out of the corner of his eye. He was sure that they would both still be fighting there by the time help arrived...hopefully.

Roxas slowed his run, coming to a stop on the other side of Terra and Ven. "What's going on?" he asked, his eyebrows pulling together in question. Something was obviously wrong, and it must have involved Sora since he wasn't around. What was it?

"Vanitas isn't quite dead yet," Terra said, taking his hand off Ven's shoulder and turning to look at the two blondes. "Sora's fighting him at the Keyblade Graveyard and needs our help." They would have to leave immediately; the flight would be tough if enemies slowed them down.

Roxas's eyes widened a little at that news, but he immediately focused, expression serious again. "Ready when you are," he said with a nod. He wasn't staying behind. He was going to help his best friend when he needed him.

Terra nodded at that, turning to look at his younger best friend again. "Ven..."

 

"Yeah, I know," the blond said with a sigh. "I'm staying back." Everyone would have killed him if he disobeyed and Vanitas got his way. He saw Terra nod in response before he lifted a hand and struck his armor. It was time those three to go help Sora.

Aqua nodded to Ven once in gratitude that he was staying behind. She then followed Terra's example, bringing up a hand and striking the piece of armor on her arm. Just as the light surrounded her, she caught Roxas doing the same.

Namine squinted, light surrounding her two new friends and her boyfriend. When she saw them all in their armor, she couldn't help but speak to them. "Be careful," she said, looking over all of them before her gaze rested on Roxas.

Roxas turned his head, his blue eyes on Namine's behind his mask. He summoned his Keyblade to him so he could call his Glider, but before he did that, he nodded to her in assurance. He would come back to her, and he would be careful. He promised.

Namine saw Roxas's nod, but she also noticed Ven take a few steps back to give his friends room to summon their gliders. She followed his lead, taking a few steps back and stopping by him just as she saw Terra throw up his Keyblade. She watched the vehicle come down out of the sky, and he got onto it with ease before he turned to his comrades.

Roxas looked away from Namine and focused on summoning his Glider. He tossed his Keyblade high into the air, watching it transform into his source of transportation. As it came back down to the ground, he jumped up, landing on it and riding it much like a skateboard with ease. He turned his head to Aqua and Terra, ready when they were.

 

Aqua landed on her Glider, grabbing onto the handles that way she could steer it. Feeling eyes on her, she turned her head to look at the two boys. She nodded to them once, signaling that she was ready.

Terra saw that Aqua and Roxas were ready, so he started ahead first, just because somebody had to lead. A portal appeared in the sky, and he went through it a few seconds later. Hold on, Sora, he thought. Just hold on.

Roxas let Aqua head up first, and he followed right behind her. He headed straight for the portal, going in after her. He didn't like the idea of Sora fighting Vanitas alone, so he was glad that they were going to help.

A little while later at the Keyblade Graveyard, Sora was still battling Vanitas and wondering where his friends were. It had been a while since he sent Ventus back, and he was struggling with Vanitas. He wasn't extremely tired physically, but something else just felt...off. He couldn't explain it, so he focused on fighting and defeating the person who was haunting his friends.

Vanitas was forced back a step, blocking one of Sora's attacks. However, he immediately did a three-sixty turn, bringing his Keyblade around with him in a rough swing. He may have been a Lingering Sentiment, but he was tougher than before.

Sora grunted, barely managing to block the attack. He felt Vanitas's Keyblade press into his as he looked up at the Lingering Sentiment, Sora's face exposed because Vanitas had knocked off his helmet a while ago. He didn't like how his Keyblade felt weak against Vanitas's...
