Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light leaned forward a little, setting a hand on Riku's leg. "You hungry for anything?" she asked. He hadn't mentioned eating when he was with his parents, so it was quite a few hours since his last meal. She supposed that she should eat something, too.
"Sure," Riku said, his eyes on Lightning's pale blue. He wasn't for certain on what he was hungry for, but he was pretty hungry. He hadn't eaten for a while.

"Okay," Light said with a small nod, squeezing Riku's leg lightly before carefully pushing herself up. She grunted a little at the pain but started towards the kitchen anyway, still just wearing her turtleneck instead of having the coat over top. She'd make some kind of food, for both her and Riku.
Riku watched Lightning go, but then he looked down at his lap, setting his hand where Light had it before. Now that he saw his parents and Sora and Kairi again, he wasn't sure what he was going to do once the Islands were inhabitable again. Would he go home, or stay with Light?

Lightning glanced at the clock, seeing that it was right around midnight. Technically, it's morning. I could make breakfast food... Yeah, that would be the quickest. She got eggs, milk, and cheese out of the fridge, planning on making omelets. She tried to ignore her heart, which ached now that she was moving around.
Riku sighed softly, leaning his head back against the couch as he looked to the television. Sports, but Cocoon's version. Typical Sora, he thought, wanting to roll his eyes but not. He watched it in silence, knowing that if Light needed anything she would call him.

Lightning made the food in about five to ten minutes, not making any side-dishes. She didn't want to admit this, but her heart was really aching again. She put the egg on two plates, giving Riku more than what she had. She walked to the living room with a plate in each hand, walking around the couch before holding a plate out for Riku.
Riku looked up, seeing that Lightning was in front of him with some food. "Thanks, Light," he said, reaching for the plate and fork that she had for him. Seeing and smelling the food, he was hungrier than he thought.

Light hummed softly, nodding as well. She sat herself down beside Riku and picked up the fork that was on her plate, starting to play with her food. She really wasn't too hungry, but...she had to eat something, right?
Riku started to eat in silence, though he did glance at the television every once in a while. He noticed he had more food on his plate than Light, though he figured she just realized how much of an appetite he had, so he didn't think much of it.

Lightning ate a few bites while Riku ate more quickly, the girl glad he wasn't paying attention to her. She couldn't eat anymore; she just wanted to lay down. She leaned forward and set her plate on the table in front of her, standing up once it was there. "I'm gonna go to bed," she said softly, starting to walk away before Riku could ask questions. "You can have the rest of my food."
Riku nodded a little, watching Light go for a second before he spoke. "Alright. 'Night," he called after her. He'd be with her soon, anyway. He didn't have to follow her to bed right away.

Light murmured her goodnight, leaving the room. She went down the hall and reached her bedroom, where she took the time to take off her skirt and put on a pair of sweatpants. After that, she crawled into bed. Ugh. This is a pain.
Riku finished up Light's food, since he had more of an appetite than he thought. He then took the plates to the kitchen to rinse them off and clean them up, that way Light wouldn't have to do it later. He was getting tired too, but he'd stay up for a little bit longer, that way he didn't disturb Light when he went in her room.

Lightning laid on her stomach, head buried in her pillow. She couldn't sleep, her whole chest tense with pain. C'mon, Claire, don't you dare let this happen to you again. She was in bad shape now, and she needed to relax so the pain eased up.
Riku watched TV for a little while longer, but then he realized he wasn't going to be able to stay awake. He got up from his seat and turned off the television before making his way back to Lightning's room. There, he undressed, taking off his shoes and his shirt. He saw her on her stomach on one side of the bed, and he crawled in beside her, though he stayed sitting up for a minute. He put a hand on Light's back, hoping she was alright.

Light felt the hand on her back, that being the thing that caused her to sense Riku's presence. When had he come back? Regardless, she stayed still under his gentle hand, tense from the discomfort in her chest. She was still hurting, but at least she didn't feel like she was dying.
Riku ran his hand over Lightning's back in silence, able to tell by how she didn't respond that she was asleep. Or so he thought. After a minute of rubbing her back, he lay down beside her, releasing a small breath. He wasn't completely tired, but he could fall asleep. With Light's presence, it would be much easier than if he was alone.

Lightning could tell Riku thought she was asleep, and she would just let him keep believing that. She did become less tense when he rubbed her back, though, thank goodness. With him right beside her, she could hopefully get comfortable enough to fall asleep.
Riku relaxed in Light's bed, listening to her breathing as he focused on falling asleep. It wouldn't take long, for obvious reasons. And that was okay with him. A new day would start soon, where he got to be with Light.

Lightning shifted in discomfort, rolling over onto her side so that she faced Riku. She exhaled a breath through her nose when she was settled, eyes remaining shut. Gotta fall asleep... But she really wasn't tired, since she slept a lot of the day.
Riku didn't think much of Light rolling over, believing it was just so she could get more comfortable. If she was really in trouble, he would feel it himself. Or she would tell him. She was getting better...or so he hoped.

"...You still awake?" Light asked softly after a few moments, wondering if Riku was having trouble falling asleep as well. He just crawled into bed, so there wasn't much time for him to fall asleep, but still...She didn't feel like waiting in the silence with a question on the tip of her tongue.
"Yeah," Riku answered softly. However, he kept his eyes closed. Even if he could see in the darkness, there wasn't much of a point to open his eyes, was there?

Lightning hummed softly, not quite sure what to say after that. Was he even tired, or was he just laying down because she was laying down? She wanted him to do what he wanted, and not feel obligated to stay with her all the time.
