Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning went out to the living room and laid down on the couch on her back after she turned on a light, her gaze on the ceiling. She just stared at it behind her bangs, starting to ponder over everything. As long as she remained calm and composed, her heart wouldn't interfere with the soul-searching. That was good, considering how badly she needed this. Alright. Let's get started.

Two days later

"Hey, guys!" Yuffie walked onstage, a microphone in her hands as she looked out at the crowd gathered in the center of town. "Thanks for coming to the Restoration Festival, brought to you by your very own Restoration Committee!" She smiled proudly, hearing cheers and claps in approval. "Without the committee, we wouldn't have our beautiful world restored. And quite a few people helped us put the pieces back together. We have some special guests here today." She put her free hand on her hip, her dark eyes finding her friends lined up just to her right. She smirked at them. "Without them, we wouldn't have our home. Give a warm welcome to our Keyblade wielders and the Princesses of Heart!"

Kairi waved timidly at the people of her home, seeing them smile up at all of the people onstage, including her best friends and the Princesses she'd been acquainted with. She heard cheers and whistling, which meant everyone was obviously proud of what had been accomplished the last three years. Kairi turned her head, looking beyond Belle and Princess Jasmine to see her best friends, the Keybladers. They all looked happy, and she could tell a few were fighting blushes.

Roxas waved at the crowd happily, remembering his time in the Struggle Tournament; it was a close reminder. His eyes spotted the girl he loved in the first few rows, his blue eyes resting on her for a moment. He was glad she was here, to celebrate alongside them.

Riku smirked a little, waving slightly, holding a microphone in his other hand. His eyes darted over all the people, and there was definitely a big crowd. But he knew one person that wouldn't be here, and that was Light. They agreed a few days ago that she would stay home when he left for the celebration; she was still recovering. Riku was okay with that, since she came first. Always.

Aqua giggled a little, smiling softly at the people of Radiant Garden. She'd never been honored for much of anything, so this was quite an opportunity. She stood next to the man she held feelings for and Riku, being the only girl of the Keyblade wielders. That was alright; she didn't feel any pressure from it. They were all equals.

Namine cheered along with the rest of the crowd, glancing at Kairi and seeing how she was blushing. She smiled to herself, glad she wasn't a part of this ceremony. She would have been way too shy to stand up in front of everyone like that, even if a lot of people were being recognized for their heroism. She shifted her gaze to her hero, catching his gaze on her. The blonde winked at him, wondering if he would catch it from his spot on stage. Her blonde hair stood out more than the brunette had; in the past two months, she dyed her hair back to her natural color.

Sora smiled a bit sheepishly, lifting a hand and running it over the back of his spiky hair. He had known this festival was coming up for a while now, but he hadn't quite expected that he and his friends would be recognized like this. He felt a little shy, even if he shouldn't have. He was a hero, after all. And he was partially responsible for keeping the worlds safe. It deserved at least a little recognition.

Terra stood on one side of Aqua, looking over the crowd. He chuckled shyly and set a hand on his girlfriend's shoulder, seeing the excited crowd. There were a lot of festivities planned for the day, and he was excited to be a part of it. Over the past few months, he learned to have more fun with things. Aqua helped him with that, a lot.

Ven smiled widely, waving to the crowd. This is so cool! He never imagined there would be a festival like this, but the town was decorated beautifully and everyone was gathered here. He couldn't wait to see what this day had in store for all of them; it was sure to be fun. He just wished Lightning could have come, but since she was recovering, it was understandable she was at her home.

Lightning stood in the back of the crowd, back against a wall as she looked up at the stage. She smirked at everyone, Riku included in that group. She knew they agreed that she would stay home and not come to this, but she was feeling better today, so she wanted to come. It would be a nice surprise for Riku and Ven once they found out she was feeling well enough to come out like this.

Roxas caught that wink and he sent one right back at the girl he loved. As great as she looked as a brunette, she was beautiful with her natural hair color, as a blonde. He lowered his hand from his wave as he glanced back at the crowd again, a smile on his face.

Aqua looked up at Terra when she felt his hand on her shoulder, but then she looked toward the crowd again, waving at a group of kids who were in the front. They jumped with excitement when she saw them, pointing her out to their parents. It made her laugh a little, but then she lowered her hand, since Yuffie was getting ready to speak again.

Yuffie smiled to herself, glancing from the people of Radiant Garden to her friends and the Princesses. "Looks like we've got an enthusiastic bunch," she commented in her microphone, things dying down when she spoke. When things were quiet again, she looked out at the crowd. "We've got a bunch of fun activities in store for you guys today, many involving our special guests. But first, why don't I introduce them, huh?" She heard applause again, and she knew that the people were ready for it. "Alright, let's start with the Princesses."

Sora looked down the line, his bright blue eyes landing on the girl he loved amongst the Princesses. She always had been a princess in his eyes, before he even knew of her official title. He would always love her the same, Princess of Heart or not. He flashed her a trademark cheesy smile, hoping she would catch it.

Kairi caught that grin when she glanced in Sora's direction, and she giggled quietly while Yuffie introduced Alice, Snow White, and Cinderella. She saw Sora earlier, when he was shy about getting so much attention. He was quite charming, and she was sure the people of her homeworld would see that in a little while, when they actually got to speak themselves. Until then, she kept her hands linked behind her back, waiting patiently for the introductions to be completed.

"Next we have the wonderful Princess Aurora from Enchanted Dominion," Yuffie introduced, peering down the line of people to said Princess. The girl waved at the rest of the crowd as they clapped, and then Yuffie smiled a little more, seeing one of her good friends. "And then, of course, we have Miss Kairi, Radiant Garden's very own Princess of Heart."

Kairi's eyes widened at the uproar from the crowd, her lips parting slightly in surprise. Oh my...she thought in surprise, her hands coming undone from behind her back. They were so loud! And for her?

Namine cheered loudly for her Somebody, lifting her fingers to her mouth and releasing a whistle. Kairi's pure heart was something worth recognizing, and clearly Radiant Garden's citizens were proud to have somebody as sweet as her come from their world. She herself was proud to have someone so sweet as her Somebody, even if not many people knew how they were actually connected. It didn't really matter.

Sora chuckled at Kairi's expression, glancing over at Riku and nudging him with his elbow, as if his friend didn't notice already. Kairi was so shy; it was adorable. He looked back to her, seeing the red creep up into her cheeks. That's my girl, he thought, unaware Kairi could hear the thought that transferred across his heart.

Riku felt the nudge and glanced down at Sora before looking back to Kairi, a smirk on his lips. He lifted his free hand to his lips and whistled, much like he had at Serah and Snow's wedding not too long ago. Good for her.

Kairi heard the cheers from Radiant Garden's citizens and her friends, but when she heard the message in her heart, she turned her head to look down the line of people to the boy she loved, who was standing between Roxas and Riku. She smiled shyly at the look in his eyes, glancing away as she tucked some hair behind her ear with her free hand. She nodded to the people of Radiant Garden with a soft smile, silently thanking them for their obvious support.

Aqua looked past her friends to Kairi, a soft smile on her face as Yuffie moved on to the next Princess, Belle. She was proud of Kairi; she'd always known there was something special about her, and she even admitted as much to Mickey all those years ago. Her Light was special.

Lightning watched the ceremony from her place, one foot against the wall and her arms folded over her chest. She wasn't extremely close to Kairi, but she was a sweet girl. The other Princesses were probably the same. Lightning had done a little bit of research on the Princesses a few years ago during her search for Ven, believing it could be a lead to finding him. It turned up empty, but she was more knowledgeable because of it, so it wasn't a total waste.

"Next up," Yuffie continued, having just finished with the seventh Princess of Heart, Jasmine, "we have the first of our loyal Keyblade wielders. He's gone through a lot to get to where he is today, so give a warm welcome to Roxas, ladies and gentlemen!"

Roxas heard the people instantly cheer and clap for him, and he smiled, nodding to them with another small wave. A lot... Yeah, it could be described as that, though it was putting it lightly. He was glad Yuffie didn't reveal any details, though. Being a Nobody was tough then, but now he was accepted, and so was the girl he loved. They were just like everyone else.

Namine put her fingers in her mouth and whistled for her boyfriend, clapping her hands once the whistle was done. She loved him, and she was so proud of how strong he was to make it to today. She knew it hadn't been an easy road, but he didn't give up. He fought for what was right and was turning into a great man, even if he had been great from the start.
The claps died down and Yuffie put a hand on her hip, a smirk forming on her face at who was next. "Now this next guy, well, let's just say that he was a great addition to the Restoration Committee, even though he was late for his first meeting with Leon only five minutes later," she said, looking to Sora. She heard a few chuckles from the crowd, and she only smiled crookedly at her good friend. "He's a goofball if I ever saw one, but he's got a strong heart and a great sense of justice. Give it up for Sora, everyone!"
  • Author
Sora had lifted a hand to the back of his head, smiling sheepishly when Yuffie brought up how he was late for the meeting. He never had been good with the formal stuff like that. When the introduction was done, he removed his hand from the back of his head and waved to the crowd, his sheepish smile turning into a more genuine one at the applause. He was a goofball alright, but he was learning to tone it down. After all, sometimes you had to be serious. Today, though...today was going to be a fun day full of laughter. He was excited.

Riku heard the cheers for his best friend, and he lifted his free hand to ruffle his best friend's hair. "Good job, buddy," he said, the crowd louder than him, though he was sure Sora could hear. His friend really did do a good job while he was here, and he was proud of him, even if he was part of the problem.

Kairi held her microphone in one hand behind her back, the other gripping the wrist of that arm as she looked to the boy she loved. She giggled in his direction, smiling at the look on his face. He was so handsome. That's my man, she thought, the message transferring from her heart to his, just like he had done to her moments before. He was so strong.

Roxas cheered and clapped for his best friend, looking over at Sora from where he stood right beside him. His microphone was tucked under his arm so he was capable of clapping and able to show his support. Sora was his Somebody, who he was a part of. He was proud to be connected to somebody like him.

Sora looked over at his older best friend, smiling a little more widely at Riku's words. Even if he was getting older, Riku's approval still meant a lot to him. Riku was like his big brother, and his mentor, after all. But he was distracted by what Kairi said, his head turning to look at her. His smile turned more sheepish, the applause getting to him. Okay, that's enough. He was more humble now than he had been a few years ago; if he was that same person, he would have been playing with the crowd to get more applause.

Yuffie clapped for a few seconds longer before the crowd lowered the noise, in which she brought her microphone back up to her mouth. She lifted an eyebrow, glancing at Riku before looking to the people before her in the crowd. "The third Keyblade wielder out of the bunch is one that some may call...misunderstood," she said, a sneaky smile on her lips. She looked back, catching Riku's eye. "He's a little mysterious and calm and collected, but he's cocky, so it kinda takes away from the positive aspects."

Riku crossed one arm over his chest, bringing the other up to talk into his microphone. "I'm not the only one," he replied, looking to the hostess for tonight's Festival. "Maybe you should take a look in the mirror, Great Ninja Yuffie." He lifted an eyebrow at her, seeing her roll her eyes. There were a few chuckles from the crowd and some "ooo"s, which only made him smirk.

Kairi giggled, shaking her head at Riku's response. Yuffie knew this was of good nature, so she would play along, just like he was doing. But Kairi knew that Riku would deliver comebacks; he was pretty witty.

  • Author
Lightning smirked from her spot, chuckling at her boyfriend. She didn't know Yuffie, but apparently Riku did. And it was funny how he turned things around back on her. The question was, would this keep going, or would Yuffie save herself some humiliation and leave Riku alone? Because if she didn't, he would keep coming back with more comebacks to (playfully) put her down.

Yuffie kept her hand on her hip, the microphone back at her mouth as she looked at Riku. "Okay then, Keyblade Master," she said. "How about a duel, one-on-one, you and me. We'll see who's really the best." She heard cheers from the crowd, who was obviously loving the bantering going on between her and Riku.

Riku's smirk remained, and he glanced at the people before him before looking back to Yuffie. "Bring it on," he said, nodding slightly. Cheers erupted and he let his microphone fall from his mouth, his arm also uncrossing. He would take her up on that offer. He was always up for a good competition.

Yuffie motioned to the boy with her arm, staying where she was on one side of the stage. "Riku, everyone!" she said, finally introducing him to the crowd. They cheered for him as well, and she clapped with good nature. She was looking forward to that match.

Sora smirked, not noticing Lightning in the back of the crowd clapping for Riku. He lifted a hand and ruffled his friend's hair despite how tall he was, mocking him in a way. "Good job, buddy," he said with a slight smirk. "Way to let her down easy." Riku's teasing could have gotten much worse than that, but he let her off easy.
Riku squinted one eye closed and looked to his best friend, his smirk still in tact. He looked to the people off the stage and waved slightly before dropping his hand, never really being one for attention. That was alright, though. Some of it wasn't too bad.

Terra wrapped up clapping for us successor when the rest of the crowd did, the man witnessing Sora put his hand back down when he was done messing with Riku. He didn't regret the choice he made with his successor, not once. Riku had a heart of gold, and he deserved some happiness in his life. That was why he was so glad he had Lightning now, even if she couldn't come to today's festivities.

Yuffie didn't have to look to see who was next, the ninja looking to the crowd. "Alright, right beside the male Keyblade Master is the only female of the group, who is one of the first Keyblade Master's of our generation," she said. "She has the magic touch when it comes to battle, annihalating her enemies from afar. Please welcome Aqua!"

Aqua felt a small blush creep up her cheeks when everyone cheered, looking out at the crowd to see quite a few guys eyeing her. Oh goodness, she thought, giggling a little as she looked to Yuffie and nodded to her in gratitude of the introduction. That was far too much.

Terra smirked slightly at Aqua's shyness, though he knew he'd react in the same way. He switched the microphone to his other hand and wrapped an arm around her shoulders, not caring what it looked like to other people. He knew Aqua was a romantic at heart, and she loved public displays of affection. And this wasn't just a display of affection; he saw guys in the audience looking at Aqua, and he wanted to send a clear (but not rude) message. She's mine.

Aqua looked up at Terra, the girl smiling up at him shyly. But then she followed his gaze to the crowd, seeing that some of the boys looked dejected. Oh, Terra, she wanted to say, to scold him for the message behind his actions, other than that he cared for her.

Aqua wasn't the only one who saw the boys' downhearted expressions. "Sorry, boys, she's taken," Yuffie said, earning some laughs from the crowd. She chuckled herself, then looking to the person beside Aqua. "And the one with his arm wrapped around the Keyblade Master is the very first Keyblade Knight. As you can see, he's got the muscles to provide a great amount of strength to protect the things that matter. Terra, ladies and gentlemen!"

  • Author
Terra smirked slightly, glancing at the dejected boys before he brought his arm back from around Aqua. He used that hand to wave casually before he lowered it to his side, nodding faintly to the crowd. Okay, that's enough attention.
