Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora rolled his eyes behind his helmet, tempted to challenge Aqua to a duel. But he felt like the day would be busy enough with the race and with the match Riku already planned to have with Yuffie. And the race...wasn't that supposed to start soon?

Riku crossed one arm over his chest again, deciding to speak. "We'll see who's talking at the end of the race, Aqua," he said, the mic at his helmet so he could be heard. Yuffie seemed to take that as her cue.

"Yes, that's right!" Yuffie said, cutting in. "The Keyblade wielders will be racing in our very own digital track, a place created by Ansem the Wise, our previous ruler. So, get ready, you guys." She looked to her friends in armor with a small smile. "You'll be broadcasted on the TVs set up around the area, that way we can all watch your progress. Since you're already dressed for flight, why don't you guys go ahead and take off?"

"Gladly," Ventus said with a smirk, lowering his microphone once he spoke. He set it on the ground and then ran off to the side of the stage where it was empty, summoning his Keyblade as he ran. He chucked it up and it came around from behind him, the teen skillfully jumping on it. Little did he know, Terra was right behind him, doing the same thing.

Aqua ran off next, summoning her glider and doing an aerial onto it. She took off just behind Terra, soaring over the crowd.

Riku summoned his Keyblade and ran forward as well, tossing it into the air. As he jumped off the stage, he did a backflip, landing skillfully on his "bike". He followed Aqua's lead, knowing Roxas and Sora would be right behind him.

Sora "hmphed" when he saw Riku showoff, the teen doing two back-flips before he landed on his glider. Game on, he thought, realizing that this was already competitive. But he was excited for the real race, too.

Roxas ran off and did a front flip onto his glider, soaring over the crowd after his friends. As soon as they were off, he heard cheers behind him, and he knew they liked the show. He smirked, picking up speed to catch up with his friends.

"Now that that show's over," Yuffie said, walking to the middle of the stage now that there was room. "The race will be starting in ten minutes, you guys. Go get comfortable, because it'll be a good one!" She then turned off her mic, seeing some people disperse from the crowd. She then approached Kairi. "Those show offs."

Kairi laughed, her mic now off as well. "It's all in good fun," she said. "Just wait until they cross the finish line. Then it'll be the worst." She smiled in good nature, feeling Yuffie squeeze her shoulder. For once, she was happy, and things were going well. Today would be fun, because everyone was together again. She was looking forward to it.

Lightning "hmphed" at Yuffie's announcement, glad that she decided to come. A race, huh? That was going to be interesting. She'd stick around and watch it from her spot right here, knowing she could sit against the wall if she wanted to. She didn't really feel like mingling with people, in case she recognized somebody from her past.
Riku soared over Radiant Garden alongside his friends, though he played a small round of bumper cars with Sora. Or he guessed it could be considered chicken, since they never actually hit each other; just acted like they would. He saw that they were getting close, noticing those in front start to descend. He was ready for this race; it would be nice to goof off and get competitive again.

Ven chuckled to himself, seeing Sora and Riku play Chicken all the way to Ansem's computer room. It only took a few minutes for them to get through the halls and reach the computer, where they would be transported to the race track. He was pumped; he himself had never been in Space Paranoids.

Aqua walked near the front of the group alongside the boys to the computer room, seeing all of the gadgets. She never actually remembered being down here, so she looked around with curiosity. "Hard to believe Ansem kept this underwraps," she said softly, staring up at the large gadget on the wall opposite the computer.

"He had a lot of secrets," Riku commented, no longer in his armor as he approached the computer. He knew how to work them pretty well, unlike Sora, who he heard just smashed the keys until it gave him some useful information.

Sora stood back and let Riku work the computer, his armor fading away at the same time as Ven and Terra's. Riku knew more about Ansem the Wise than most of them, since he spent a lot of time with him when he was DiZ. It was too bad Ansem the Wise died in The World That Never Was; he could have done a lot of good if he were still alive.

Riku typed in a few keys, and he saw that he was in the system. "Tron, you there?" he called, knowing that their friend was the one that would give them easier access to Space Paranoids, where they could enter the arena and get started on this race.

"Riku, is that you?" Tron replied a few seconds later. "Why, it's been quite a while since I've heard a voice like yours. Is there anyone with you?"

"Yeah, all of us are here. Me, Sora, Roxas, Ven, Terra, and Aqua," Riku replied. "You know what we're here for, don't you?"

"The big race, of course," Tron replied, a bit of happiness in his voice. "Go ahead and stand in front of the transporter. I'll get you to the arena to get set up."

Terra saw Ven and Sora exchanged excited looks, the two of them standing ready in front of the transporter. He smirked slightly and walked over, standing in front of it along with them. He was ready to go.
Riku nodded with a small hum, turning around and seeing that everyone was set. He walked forward and stood beside Terra, waiting. He saw a light in the transporter before it shot at all six of them, slowly taking in their data and transporting them to the Game Grid. When the light was gone, Riku looked down at his body, seeing that he was glowing. "Huh," he said, surprised. He should have expected this.

Sora noticed Ven look down at his new outfit, the colors different with blue lines glowing on his clothes. He gave his friend a thumbs up and a smirk, already knowing what his clothes looked like in here. But when he realized it probably would have been smart to wear armor for the race. He pressed his armor button and looked down afterwards, seeing the blue lines that now patterned his armor. Cool.
Aqua saw that Sora had a good idea, and she hit her armor as well, seeing Roxas follow his Somebody's lead. She looked down at her figure, seeing that she too glowed blue. "This is neat," she commented lightly, smiling behind her mask. She had never been here before, so this was quite different.

"I know, right?" Sora said with a smirk, not catching Ven and Terra summon their armor as well as he headed over to one of the bikes set up for them to use. He got onto it, remembering racing around and fighting Heartless on one of these things. It was hard to get the hang of at first, but it was fun once my life wasn't in danger.

Riku summoned his armor as well, seeing the colors flowing over his form. He then looked to the bikes, seeing that they were different colors. "Hey, Aqua," he called, walking over to one, which was glowing gold on some parts. "We'll let you take purple, 'kay?"

Aqua rolled her eyes and approached the feminine-colored bike. "You guys are so generous," she said, playing along. She got onto it, putting one hand on the handle bars as she kept one foot on the ground. It was just like a glider, right? It wouldn't be that hard to use.

Terra smirked behind his mask at Riku's remark, getting onto his green bike while Ven got onto a white one. Sora took blue, the teen looking comfortable on the bike. The way Terra saw it, there were going to be three main competitors in this race: Riku, Sora, and himself. All of them were used to bikes.
Roxas approached the orange bike, since that was the last one. No big deal. "Tron didn't mess around," he said, patting the bike a little. They actually got to drive these things? That was awesome!
  • Author
Sora hummed in agreement, looking up to the sky. "Thanks Tron!" he called, giving his friend a thumbs up. Wherever he was, he was surely watching the race. He probably made this track himself, so Sora was excited to give it a go. Could they start yet?

Riku looked up when he heard something unusual, but he smiled to himself when he heard Yuffie's voice. They must have had something set up so that she could speak to them from where she was in town.

"Hey guys!" Yuffie called. "You set?" Her voice echoed though the area to the Keybladers, the girl having a headset on as she looked up at the monitor. "We're ready to go whenever you are. Just drive your bikes to the starting line, just to the west. Then we'll do the countdown."

Roxas smirked. "Got it," he replied softly. He wondered if they could hear what they themselves were saying, since they could hear Yuffie. Regardless, he started his bike and drove it toward the starting line not too far off, Riku and Aqua following his lead.

"Let's do it," Sora said with a smirk, driving up to the starting line along with Terra and Ven. He stopped in the line, seeing their coarse up ahead. He felt the adrenaline pumping through his veins already, his grip on his bike secure. Ready.

Aqua rode up to the starting line, near the middle of the starting point. "Ready to lose, boys?" she said, smirking behind her helmet as she looked both ways at them. Her competitiveness was coming out now, as it rarely did.

Riku "hmphed" behind his helmet, revving his bike's engine. "Bring it on," he said, though not just to Aqua. He said it to everyone. He was ready to have some fun.

"Hey, I've got to impress Namine," Roxas called. "Don't plan on embarrassing me." It wasn't going to happen. He wouldn't let it.

  • Author
"You're not the only person who's got somebody to impress," Sora said, glancing at Roxas before he faced forward again. He had to impress Kairi, since she was surely watching this. It would be awesome if he could win this race. It was a good possibility, too, since he raced here before.
