Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

"Alright, you guys look ready, so we'll get this started," Yuffie said through her headset, the rest of Radiant Garden able to hear as well. "On your marks..." She heard the engines rev, the cameras moving through to see Riku glance at Sora next to him before looking forward. Roxas was bent low on his bike, ready to go, and Aqua leaned forward, gripping the handles of her own bike. It would be easy to note them by their separate bikes, each a different color. "Get set..."

Lightning watched from her spot in Radiant Garden, seeing the monitors that showed everything. She picked out which bike Riku was on and kept an eye on it, planning on paying attention to him the whole race. Be careful, guys. This wasn't exactly safe, even for people who flew on gliders all the time. She hoped there was no trouble.

"...Go!"

Riku heard the sound of burning rubber instantly, the squealing of everyone's tires before they took off. He flew from the starting line, though he could see everyone out of the corner of his eye. They were close now, but soon, they would start spreading out.

The people in Radiant Garden cheered, Namine clapping as well even if none of the racers could hear them. She kept her eyes on Roxas's bike, worried for him but having faith he'd be alright. This race was competitive, but all her friends were smart enough not to take things too far. They'd all be fine.
Kairi watched from where she sat, next to Namine now as she looked up at the large scene on the stage where she and her friends once stood. She saw that Sora was the one on the blue bike, and Riku on the gold. She would watch those two, though she could easily guess that Aqua was on the purple. She had a smile on her face as she watched, seeing her friends take the first few turns. As she suspected, Aqua was keeping up with the boys quite easily. She was sure she would the entire race, unless something happened.

Terra saw the coarse split into at least three different paths, one of them looking nice to him. "See you guys at the finish line," he called, lifting a hand and waving to everyone before he veered his bike off to the side and took that new path. He caught Sora and Ventus both take different paths, the man smirking. This is going to be fun.

Aqua smirked, seeing her boyfriend take a different path. She followed Sora's lead, taking the middle road. This course was unique, and none of them were sure what to expect, but it would be fun and competitive, nonetheless.

Riku raced his friends for a while, and after taking a turn where they all met up again, he found himself in the middle of all of the bikes. He veered to the side sharply, dodging a pillar in the middle of the course when Sora got too close. "Sora, take it easy!" Little did he know, it wasn't really him.

Lightning blinked, the three large screens split so each racer had half a television focused on themselves. Riku's screen showed that he was surrounded, but the other screens showed that nobody was near him. ...It's just an error in the monitor. Somehow, Light thought, though her body was tensing. Something didn't feel right.
Riku was unaware that something was wrong, not sensing any Darkness at that moment. But when Roxas's bike rammed his and forced him to the side, he grunted in shock. "Roxas!" he roared, but he didn't get a response. When he glanced over, he saw that none of his friends were even looking at him. Sora and Roxas were each focusing forward, as if nothing happened. "Hey!" Riku called again, moving closer to Roxas's bike. "Roxas!"

Ventus blinked when he heard bikes coming up behind him, the blond looking over his shoulder. He grunted when somebody sent him into a tailspin, his bike spinning out of control. "Whoa!" He gritted his teeth and swerved onto another path.

Terra's eyes widened when Ven's bike flew off the path above him and landed on his own in front of him, his friend getting a grip on things and getting it under control after a moment. "Ven! Careful!"

Ven looked over beside him, unable to see Terra's face through his mask. But--"Wait, weren't you just--?" He looked up to the path he flew off of, seeing another green bike up there. But right next to him was Terra on his green bike. What the...?

Aqua took a turn, having been following Sora's lead up until this point. She lost him a few turns back. But she saw Roxas up ahead, recognizing the orange color on his bike. She rode up next to him, glancing over in his direction. But upon seeing her, he swerved and hit her, forcing her into the wall. "Roxas, hey!" she shrieked. He backed off, but then she saw him summon his Keyblade. She gasped and ducked her head, narrowly avoiding the kid's swing. "Roxas, what is the matter with you!?" He swung at her again, and she had no choice but to summon her weapon, blocking the attack with her left hand. She grunted at the force behind it, not understanding. What was going on?

"Roxas, Aqua," Yuffie said lowly, seeing what was going on. "Play nice in there. This is just for fun." What were they doing? And what just happened with Ventus?

Roxas glanced up when he heard Yuffie's voice and he lifted a hand off his bike and motioned to one of the cameras he saw that he didn't know what she was talking about. Aqua wasn't near him! It was only Sora!

Sora furrowed his eyebrows, looking up and seeing a ramp above him and Roxas. A bike suddenly flew off it, landing in a position where he and Roxas would crash right into it. "Look out!" he said to his Nobody, giving his motorcycle a nudge before he swerved over to the side to avoid the blue bike that threatened to hit them. Wait...I'm the only person on a blue bike, aren't I?

Roxas grunted, swerving out of the way in time to avoid the bike. Once they were past it, he glanced over his shoulder. That bike... "Sora, you're the only one on a blue bike, right?" he said, a few yards separating him and his best friend as they rode through the course. He was, though, wasn't he?

Roxas swung at Aqua again, and she had no choice but to ram his bike with hers. She gasped when he went into a pillar, but he disappeared into data. No...that wasn't possible. "A bug?" she thought aloud, swerving around another sharp turn.

Riku found himself suddenly pinned on a straightway, both Sora and Roxas's bikes pinning him, creating sparks. "Guys!" he cried, seeing a pillar coming up right in front of him. "This isn't funny. Knock it off!" But they didn't listen, and the pillar was right there. Riku tucked his chin, grunting roughly when he felt his bike ram into the pillar, the boy spinning and bumping into the next wall, his speed slowing.

Kairi gasped along with everyone else, obviously noticing the chaos going on through the screens. Sora...he wouldn't...she thought silently, the message transferring through her heart secretly. He wouldn't do that to Riku! And neither would Roxas!

"Roxas!" Namine gasped, seeing what happened with Riku. But she looked over at Roxas's screen and saw him with Sora, and another blue bike. Since when were there so many racers on the coarse?

"That's what I thought," Sora said, looking over at Roxas. "...Something's not right here." He grunted when he heard Kairi's words, not knowing what she was referring to. Tron, what on earth is going on? "Up ahead!" he suddenly cried to Roxas. Lots of...orange bikes. He looked over, seeing his Nobody's orange bike. What?!

Something is very, very wrong here, Lightning thought, seeing all the screens experiencing chaos. Ven and Terra had to split up to avoid a large mass on bikes, but everyone else wasn't just sitting there; they were moving. There are more people on that coarse than just them, she realized. And the others are out to hurt them. She grunted, pushing herself off the wall and starting to run towards the outskirts of town.

Roxas's eyes widened behind his mask, seeing the orange bikes. But... "What!?" he cried in disbelief. He swerved past the bikes, and when he glanced over his shoulder, they caught up. He saw one on one side of him, and he recognized his helmet and armor. "They're...me?!" No way!

Riku managed to steer his bike back on the course, and he took another turn as he fought off the pain that crash caused. Something's going on...he thought, listening to his senses as he temporarily rode alone. He caught the scent, one that was too familiar. Darkness.

"Tron! What's going on?!" Sora cried to the sky, swerving his bike to avoid a collision with "Roxas". That wasn't his best friend! He looked down through the transparent road, seeing two other people being chased down below. Ven and Terra were in trouble too!

Lightning ran down her path, gasping when she saw something coming towards her up ahead. People, in glowing armor, like they had been on the monitors. She grunted when one of them jumped forward and swung at her, her gunblade hitting the person and making them vanish. "Imitations," she grunted. All of them. And they were all going towards town! "Odin!" she cried, her summon appearing in front of her. "Block the path!" She turned around and sprinted back, knowing she had to warn Sora's friends Leon and Cloud. Attack was imminent.

"Yuffie!" Kairi cried then, standing up from her spot. This was getting too dangerous, and something wasn't right. She had to tell them to stop.

Yuffie heard the cry, and she looked back toward the crowd of people, spotting Kairi easily. "Guys, what's going on in there?" she said, switching it over so only they could hear her, and not the crowd. If they hollered, she would be able to hear them, but not Radiant Garden; they had it set up like this just in case. But, seriously, what was going on?

"There's an intrusion in the game grid!" Tron said, speaking to his friends that were currently in the race. "Someone's hacked into the system. Reach the finish line, fast!"

Lightning broke through the crowd, reaching the front stage where Yuffie was, and Leon and Cloud were sitting in the front row. "Yuffie!" she hollered, breaking through some people. She met Yuffie a few times recently; she should have known who she was. And that was why she could trust that what she was saying was accurate.

Namine blinked at the loud call, head turning sharply to the side. Lightning?! What was she doing here? Riku said that she was in Cocoon resting up from her injuries.

"Lightning?" Yuffie called, her eyebrows furrowing at the sight. Riku said she was at home...in Cocoon, didn't he? She saw the urgency in Lightning's movements, and she turned off her headset completely before jumping down from the stage, that way she could stand near Leon and Cloud and meet Lightning halfway.

Lightning stopped by Cloud, Leon, and Yuffie, the two men on their feet now. "This isn't just bugs in the system," she said lowly. "We've got an army of clones heading this way. They disappear easy, but with no way to fight back, the townspeople are doomed." They needed to evacuate, now. Get everyone inside and get the fighters out to stop this problem. Light would go straight to the source.

Yuffie's eyes grew hard, a frown forming on her usually smiling face. She looked up at Leon and Cloud. "How do we get everyone out of here without wreaking havoc?" she asked. They couldn't tell them something was wrong, not unless they wanted people running about and probably hurting themselves. They needed to do this in an orderly fashion.

Kairi stayed standing, a few yards away from where the group was. She saw Lightning, not knowing what to think at the sight of her. She was already confused, feeling fear and puzzlement from both her heart and Sora's. Something was incredibly wrong here, and she didn't like it.

Lightning saw Leon shrug, but she didn't plan on sticking around to help them come up with an idea. "I'm going," she said, spinning around and sprinting the way she came. She didn't care about her heart, if it stopped working or not. Her heart would break if anything happened to any of her friends in the computer world. Hold on guys... She didn't know what she could do to help, but she would find a way. She'd come up with a plan on the way.

Tron managed to dig further into the system's data, figuring out what was going on in the outside world. "Sora, we've got a bigger problem," he said then, calling out to his friend. A really big problem compared to the one happening within the grid.

What kind of problem could be bigger than a hack in the database? Riku thought, going around another corner. He saw some bikes up ahead, but he knew better than to assume they were the ones belonging to his friends. He'd already figured out what was going on, and that was that these were bugs. Bad bugs.

"What's going on?" Sora asked in response, barely avoiding a side-swipe from "Sora". He was attacking himself, really? But there were more and more enemies by the minute. As soon as they all reached the finish line, the track simulation could go down and they could fight their enemies on one level. They all had to hurry...

"These clones have managed to escape the grid," Tron revealed. "They've gotten to the outside world, to Radiant Garden."

"What!?" Roxas shrieked, glancing up at the sky at that. But he looked away too soon; he cried out in pain, getting knocked off his bike by "Terra". His bike swerved before hitting the wall, the boy himself rolling along the ground as his armor shattered in the spots that impacted the floor of the grid.
