Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Vanitas's Sentiment only pulled his Keyblade back. He then brought it down once more, needing to throw Sora off. He was doing a fair job so far, but he was wearing him down. Vanitas knew that he needed to keep it up in order to destroy the boy.

Sora surprised himself, managing to lift his Keyblade once more to block Vanitas's attack. He couldn't let him get the upper hand! He was the only person fighting now; nobody could back him up if he failed. And he wouldn't fail. It wasn't an option.
Vanitas pressed against Sora's Keyblade with all his strength, both hands on the handle of his blade. He was a little battle-worn, for obvious reasons, but he wasn't in as bad shape as Sora. Which was good for him.

Sora grunted, feeling Vanitas's blade practically digging into his. When he looked down at the blades, he gasped, seeing that it really was digging into his Keyblade. He lessened his push for half a second, shocked that Vanitas's Keyblade was making an indent into his. What was going on?!
Vanitas saw what was happening to Sora's weapon, and that only motivated him to keep pressure against it. If Sora didn't have a Keyblade, he couldn't fight. If he couldn't fight, then Vanitas could finish him off. Once and for all.

Sora felt Vanitas put more pressure against his Keyblade, and when that happened, he lost his grip on the weapon. He saw it get knocked up into the air when he fell back a few feet and onto his side, his wide eyes staying on the weapon. What?! he thought, seeing it disintegrate in front of him, the pieces falling like ashes to the ground. The Keyblade!
Vanitas took a few quick steps forward, his boots loud against the cracked earth beneath his feet. He then pointed his blade at Sora. Now that his weapon was destroyed, he was defenseless, which meant he was a victim to Vanitas's power.

Sora had his hand set on the ground still as he stayed on his side, disregarding Vanitas as he stared at what was left of his Keyblade on the ground. No...he thought in shock. His Keyblade...was...destroyed. How could this have happened?
Roxas saw the Keyblade Graveyard up ahead, and he knew that they were even closer to Sora than before. He hoped his best friend was alright and holding off Vanitas at least until he, Terra, and Aqua arrived. If he couldn't...then that would be awful.

There it is, Terra thought, seeing the world. Since he was still in the lead, he summoned a portal and was the first to go through it, seeing an area of the Graveyard that he recognized faintly. But then he saw the two figures on the ground, Sora at the tip of Vanitas's Keyblade.
After following Terra through the portal, Aqua's eyes quickly scanned the area. Upon seeing Sora, and what was going on, her eyes widened considerably. She already knew that Terra spotted him, and by the way Roxas gasped from behind her, he did too. Aqua didn't hesitate steering her Glider in that direction, knowing that they didn't have any time to lose.

Sora finally tore his wide eyes away from his shattered Keyblade, his stunned eyes going to Vanitas and his Keyblade. He knew that Vanitas would easily kill him now, since he was weaponless. For the first time, Sora was honestly in shock. His Keyblade...was...gone.

Vanitas looked down at Sora from behind his mask, and he lifted his Keyblade up, preparing to strike. This would be it, the final blow. Sora was about to die.

"No!" Roxas hollered, just then ramming his Glider into Vanitas and knocking him off his feet, away from Sora. The Sentiment landed on the ground yards away, and Roxas spun his Glider around to go back to where Sora was. That had been way too close.

Sora had lifted an arm in self defense when he saw Vanitas go in for an attack, but then he looked and saw Roxas knock him back. He slowly lowered his arm, his eyes on his best friend. He noticed Terra go forward after landing on the ground, running to fight Vanitas. His friends were here...but the damage was already done.
The sound of Aqua's armor could be heard as she ran forward, her metal shoes hitting the dry earth. "Sora," she breathed in relief, coming to a stop and kneeling down next to him. "Are you all right?" She wasn't sure what the pile of ash was next to her, but she didn't mind that, instead focusing on the boy.

Sora blinked, turning his head and looking at the Keyblade Master when she knelt down beside him. "My Keyblade shattered," he said in shock. How was that even possible? He had never heard of such a thing happening, but then again, there was a lot that even he didn't know about the Keyblade.

Aqua blinked behind her helmet. "What?" she asked, not believing what Sora just said. Did she even hear him right? Was that the pile of ashes next to her?

Roxas leaped down from his Glider, which instantly returned to Keyblade form. He summoned it to him once he was on the ground, and he ran to go join Terra in the fight against Vanitas. Aqua had a hold on Sora; he would check in soon.

Sora nodded slightly, able to tell that the question was one out of shock. But her shock was nothing compared to his. He looked back to the ashes on the ground, his blue eyes showing that his heart was affected by the loss. His Keyblade meant so much to him, and now it was gone! It was like a part of him was destroyed along with it.
Aqua looked down at the pile of debris, which were the remains of Sora's weapon. She then thought back to what she told him, about his friends being his power. And now that he didn't have them, and didn't hold the faith, his Keyblade had grown weak and that was what caused it to shatter. The young woman put her hand on the boy's shoulder. "We'll figure this out, but first you need to stay here, okay?" Aqua told him. She had to go help with Vanitas. Once he was through, they would deal with this.

Again, Sora nodded slightly, his eyes finding Aqua's mask to show that he understood. There was still a battle to be fought, but this time, he was sitting out. He couldn't fight, not without a Keyblade...He was completely defenseless and powerless. And that hurt him deeply.
Aqua took her hand back and then stood herself up. She then summoned her Keyblade to her grasp and ran forward, going in the direction of the fight that was taking place.

Sora could only watch from the sidelines, seeing three of his friends fighting the villain that had shattered his Keyblade. He knew he should have watched the battle the entire time to make sure that no danger was heading in his direction, but most of the time, he stared at the ashes of his Keyblade. It was really gone, wasn't it? Vanitas shattered it...

Roxas ran forward to Vanitas, knowing that the villain was almost down. It would take just one more hit. As he approached Vanitas, the boy summoned his second Keyblade to his hands, and then he dashed through him, crossing his Keyblades in an X formation.

Vanitas's Sentiment froze at the blow, before he fell forward. A pool of Darkness appeared on the ground underneath him, and he fell through it before disappearing completely.

Aqua saw that Roxas dealt the final blow, and that meant that the fight was finally over. The woman turned around instantly to look at Sora, glad to see that they kept the battle away from his general position.

Sora wasn't paying attention to the battle at that time, his eyes on what remained of his weapon as he sat upright. Even if it had been a little while, he was still in shock. And who could blame him? The Keyblade was a very big deal to him...What was he supposed to do without it?
Roxas turned around, seeing that Aqua was heading over toward Sora's direction. He followed her lead, summoning his Keyblades away as he went over there as well. Now that he actually paid attention to his best friend, he could see that he was sad. But about what?
