Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku witnessed Lightning's movements from his place in the User world, his eyes on the screen. "...Light, you alright?" he asked then, his voice low. If Tron was right, then she could hear him, and he could hear her.

Light's eyes opened in shock, a startled grunt leaving her. Where did that voice come from? It hadn't been Tron; he wouldn't have called her "Light". She recognized the voice, even if she didn't want to admit it. How did he find out she was the one on the grid? And how was he able to see her now?
"Yeah, it's me," Riku said, seeing the look on Light's face. "It's Riku." She hadn't said anything, but that was alright. He was there, somewhat, and he would do his best to encourage her. It was the only thing he could do.

Light looked up at the sky, that being her instinctive place to look for the source of the voice. Obviously he wasn't in the system like she was; he was on the outside. She made sure of that herself. "...Go to town, Riku," she said softly. He had to help the townspeople.
"The others will handle that," Riku said, keeping his eyes glued to the screen. "I'm staying here." As close to you as I can get. He was limited because of the firewall, of course.

Lightning furrowed her eyebrows at the response she should have expected. "They're going to need all the help they can get to stop the manikins," she said. "They won't stop attacking until their factory's destroyed." She was on her way to do that now, but it would take some time.
Riku rolled his eyes, even if she couldn't see. "You honestly think I'm just gonna waltz out of here and hope you make it out?" he asked, not expecting an answer. "That's not happening." He was staying with her.

Light shut her eyes, wrapping an arm around her stomach while the other gripped her gunblade by her side. She should have known he would say something like that, and she had no real response. At least this way, she knew Riku's life wasn't in danger again in another battle. So, in a way, it was good he wasn't off fighting. Good for her.
"I would come help you myself, but someone put up a firewall to keep me out," Riku said, his eyebrows furrowing as he stared at the screen. "So I'm stuck watching the show from the outside." Unfortunately, he had to witness everything from the sidelines. If she got hurt...he couldn't do anything. At all.

"Don't whine," Lightning said, pushing herself up and bringing a fist to her chest at the ache. "You fought hard earlier; you couldn't handle more battles like that." That was why she locked him out. That, and she thought he would go into town without knowing she was involved in this. She thought he would be helping the Princesses.
"And you can?" Riku retorted lowly. "I can see you, Light. Your heart's still hurting you. If anything, you can't handle any battles like the one you just evaded." She...was going to get hurt. Really hurt, and it scared him.

Light furrowed her eyebrows, opening her eyes at Riku's comment. "Ignoring that," she said, starting down her path again. She already had a plan, and that was to be stealthy and make it to the core while avoiding as many fights as she could. She'd be alright as long as she had a say in it.
Riku's eyes narrowed at the comment, but then he asked a question. "What exactly do you plan on doing?" Light was heading toward the core, but for what? What was all this for?

"Tron said that the clones were being manufactured at the core," Lightning explained to her boyfriend, eyes set ahead on the path. "So I'm going to shut down the factory." She didn't know if the manikins would disappear right away, or if they would just stop being produced. She'd find out soon enough.
Riku nodded, even though Lightning couldn't see it. He wasn't okay with this, but... "Be careful..." he told her softly, his voice more gentle than before, holding worry now instead of aggravation.

Light nodded faintly, glancing at the ground and lowering her fist from her chest. I will, she silently promised, though she said something different to her boyfriend. "Don't worry, Riku. I'll make it out of this. I know you want to scold me for being reckless, so I'll come back and let you get out your aggravation." She was trying to make things a little lighter, hearing his worry. She was worried too.
Despite the circumstances, Riku smiled ever so slightly. "Glad you see things my way," he said softly, his voice still gentle. But he wouldn't scold her as soon as he saw her; he'd embrace her first.

Light smiled slightly, reaching the end of the hall. She pressed herself against the wall and into the shadows, creeping along it and peeking her head into the next room. Not the one she was looking for, and there were clones in there. Terrific.
Riku watched Lightning from where he stood, and he didn't plan on moving. He would watch her until she came back...and she would. She was strong, despite her condition; she would make it out of this. Alive.

Lightning saw a nearby ladder, one that would lead to higher platforms that weren't being patrolled. She put her sword away and then cautiously stepped into the room when nobody was looking, silently and quickly climbing the ladder. She reached the top and walked across the narrow path, avoiding conflict down below but still getting closer to her destination.
Riku didn't speak, having a feeling that if he did, the clones would hear him too. Conflict was the last thing he wanted for Light, especially since she was hurting from within. Her heart was strong...but it was injured. She couldn't push herself too hard.

Lightning subtly went into the next room, going unnoticed by the clones. She was focused, body tense with pain and concentration. Before she could even consider sneaking through the next narrow hall, they saw her. She grunted when they all came at her, the young woman pulling out her sword and fighting them. I have to reach the core! I can't have these manikins slow me down any more.

Riku saw that Lightning was fighting again, and he tensed at the sight. "Tron, is there anything you can do to help her out?" he asked, seeing all of the clones. There were too many for her.

"I'm afraid not," Tron said lowly. "It seems the bugs managed to terminate the virus protection. It's impossible for me to eliminate them without the programmed security field. Lightning is our only option."

Lightning saw an opening in the path up ahead, and she dodged a clone's axe while sliding past him. She started running again, leaving the clones behind. "Tron, how far till I reach the core?" she asked breathlessly, her heart pounding heavily. It's gotta be soon...
"Another fifty feet," Tron answered instantly. "At your speed, you'll reach it within the next twenty seconds." Given that no clones got in her way, of course.
