Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light didn't bother responding, eyes narrowing when she not only heard the clones pursuing her, but saw some up ahead trying to block her way. She grunted and magically changed her sword, holding Odin's weapon split in two in her grasp. She swung with both swords at the enemies in front of her continuously while running, much like Roxas did a long, long time ago in The World That Never Was. Almost there...
Riku's hands were in tight fists, the boy tense with anxiousness as he watched from his place in the computer room. C'mon, Lightning, he thought in encouragement. She could do this.

Lightning's eyes widened when she saw the room right up ahead, glowing red. But there was one more clone in the way, and he had his bow and arrow pointed directly at her. She couldn't dodge it; the hall was too narrow! The arrow flew and impacted her momentum, making her trip on her own two feet and fall down. She slid till she was right at the clone's feet, arrow piercing her chest by her heart. She squeezed her eyes shut, the clone of Darren staring down at her as she was paralyzed with the pain.
Riku grunted slightly, though he was sure Lightning couldn't hear it. Oh no... "Get up, Light," he said then, his voice firm. She had to get up.

Light gritted her teeth, sensing Darren above her placing another arrow when Riku called to her. She lifted a hand and locked her jaw, muffling a cry when she yanked out the arrow. She opened her eyes and threw it at another clone that came at her and then sent a fireball at "Darren", destroying him. Oh my goodness...this pain in my chest...
"...Light?" Riku said then, his voice showing a little of his worry, and also some aggravation. What was with these stupid clones?! They were killing her...and he couldn't have that happening!

Light turned her head and looked at the rest of the clones coming from one side of the hall, her fury getting the better of her. "Back off!" she hollered in rage, extending her empty hand and sending a tornado down the hall. It wiped out all of them, leaving Lightning alone in her pain. C'mon, you're so close...get up and finish this. You have to do this.
Riku could only watch in silence, which was one of tension. He wanted to be there to back her up so badly! But he couldn't...because of that stupid firewall. C'mon, babe. Get up and finish this.

Lightning shut her eyes and shifted Paradigms, casting Cure on herself a few times before she picked herself up. Her chest killed, but not from that wound she just received. She curled her hands into fists after she put her sword away and ran to the computer, looking at it with wide eyes for a moment before she got to work. Shut this down. Save your home. And your friends. You can do this. She worked fast, listening for the clones that would surely appear soon.
Riku could only stare at the screen, silently encouraging Lightning. From the view provided to him, he could see her face, the computer on the same wall as the camera that provided him with the scene. He could also see the hallway behind her, which meant he would be able to tell if any clones were coming. He would warn her, since that was all he could do.

Light's eyes danced over the screen, eyes showing determination and concentration. She glanced down at the keys and typed in another code, glancing up at the screen and releasing a weak laugh of relief. It was done; it was shutdown. Now, either all the clones would vanish, or they would just stop being made. Either was better than letting things continue the way they were.
"...Did you do it?" Riku asked then, his eyes still glued to the computer screen. Lightning looked relieved, but were the clones gone?

Lightning glanced up, seeing the camera on the wall. "Yeah," she said with a sigh. "The factory's out of commission." Now Tron's normal security programs were running and creating another wall so that nobody could hack into the system again. She did realize, though, that she was wrong to assume Darren himself was in here. Why would he be when he had the clones to do his dirty work?
Riku found himself smiling a little, his fists coming undone as he leaned closer to the screen. "Good work," he said with a small nod. Light did it, so did that mean she could come back out of the system? He wanted to see her...for real.

Light nodded slightly to the camera, though she couldn't see Riku's face. She turned around and started back the way she came, on guard in case the clones weren't destroyed. She had to survive the fight back; she didn't come all this way just to end up getting killed in the end.

"Security systems are back up and running," Tron announced, a bit of happiness in his voice. "The virus should be eliminated soon enough."

Finally, some good news, Riku thought, sighing softly. That was a relief. He'd been so worried, but Light could leave now...right?

Lightning walked down the hall, hearing Tron's announcements. She didn't see any clones in this area, thank goodness. She blinked when everything suddenly got cloudy, her balance disappearing. She grunted and stepped over to the side, leaning against the wall and sinking down so she was sitting. She lifted both her hands to her chest, squeezing her eyes shut in agony. This time, she really was paralyzed by the pain. No...I didn't...come here just to die...
Riku's relief washed away when he saw Lightning's state, his eyes widening as a small grunt left him. "...Light?" he called softly, worry once again in his voice. This was too much. She had to get out of there already!

Light lowered her head, not hearing Riku's call. She heard a ringing in her ears, and her own heart beating. She exhaled a shaky breath and held her hands tightly to her chest, pain engulfing her. This struck almost out of nowhere; getting rid of it without panicking would prove to be a challenge.
"Lightning!" Riku called more firmly, his eyebrows furrowing. "Answer me!" What was going on? Couldn't she hear him? They were able to communicate just a second ago.
  • Author
Lightning didn't answer the call directed at her, her position remaining the same. Don't you dare pass out...Don't you dare give up. She had to compose herself, make the pain go away, and then get back to Radiant Garden. She couldn't have things ending this way.

"Tron, what's going on?" Riku demanded. Why wasn't Lightning answering his calls? It didn't make any sense! She needed him!

"It seems as if a bug got through the system again, something the security program hasn't picked up on just yet," Tron revealed. "It's blocked any communication between you and Lightning."

"Lightning," the boy called, standing just inside the room that Lightning was in. He wasn't the real Riku, however; he was an identical clone, dressed in the same attire and having the same voice. They had been upgraded quite quickly, so now they could speak and act as the original would.

Lightning kept her position, only grunting at the voice she believed came from the outside world. But...that voice sounded closer than a voice from the sky. He couldn't possibly be with her for real, though; her firewall was still up.

Riku slammed a fist against the computer keys, though he was scolded by Tron a second later. He didn't care; Lightning was hurting! And now...his clone was right in front of her. Light...

"Hey, Light. I'm talking to you, y'know," Clone Riku called, staying where he was a few yards away. "It's only polite to at least acknowledge me."

Light gasped, lifting her head and opening her eyes to see the boy nearby. "R-Riku?" she asked, voice a little shaky from the pain and her uncertainty. Were her eyes deceiving her? He was in this world with her! How...?
