Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Clone Riku nodded with a small smirk. "The one and only," he replied.

"Liar!" Riku cried, his eyes hard as he glared at the screen. She couldn't seriously believe this, could she? Lightning was smarter than this!

Clone Riku started forward, his smirk fading as he approached Lightning. "I broke through the firewall, with Tron's help," he explained. "Thank goodness, too. I got here just in time." Just in time to annihalate you.

Light grunted slightly, though it was more in pain than in response. She lowered her head and squeezed her eyes shut again, though something felt off other than her pain. Riku wasn't scolding her, and he wasn't holding her in his arms because he was worried. He was awfully composed. And how did Tron managed to break through the system now but not earlier?

"Riku" knelt down in front of Lightning, lifting a hand to rest on one of hers over her heart. "...Are you okay?" he asked, feigning concern. It was obvious that she wasn't, but hey, he had to play along.

"Tron, get to her and tell her the truth!" Riku ordered frantically. His clone was going to hurt her, and worse, kill her. He had a bad feeling in his gut, which he learned to trust.

"On it."

Since when do you ask obvious questions like that, Riku? Lightning thought, though she only shook her head slightly to Riku's question. She was far from being alright, and that was clear. She couldn't move, and all she wanted was for this pain to go away. It was torture.

The clone frowned. "Alright," he said with a small nod. "Come with me. Tron transported me not too far off. He'll take us back." All you have to do is come with me, then we'll finish this.

"He's lying to you, Lightning." Tron walked into the room as well, though he was now in his human form, his body glowing blue as well. "This isn't the real Riku, and I didn't let him in. He's a fake, a clone. A bug."

Lightning looked over at the sound of another presence, blinking at what the person said to her. "Tron..." she assumed, recognizing the voice. She had never actually seen him before, but the voice was familiar enough that she could identify him. And he said Riku...wasn't here?

Tron nodded once, looking from Lightning to Riku. "This pest managed to slip by my security fields," he explained. "He's upgraded himself to speak, which is why he sounds so similar to the real Riku. But your Riku is just outside this database, watching this all unfold. And I must admit, he's not happy. Not in the slightest."

Well of course I'm not, Riku thought, still watching, just as Tron said. Just kill him, Tron. Get him away from her.

Lightning shifted her gaze to the young man in front of her, seeing how he wasn't defending himself. Was he planning to at all, or was he seriously going to let her believe that he was a fake? She had been suspicious before, but the way he held her hand was normal...

"He's lying," the clone said finally, having dealt with a small glitch that made him stay quiet. "That's not Tron, Light. Now come with me, so we can get away from this kook."

Tron frowned, shaking his head. "Don't follow his lead, Lightning," he said, looking to her again. "He'll only guide you toward your death. He's not someone--or shall I say, something--that you want to trust."

Lightning glanced back and forth between Tron and Riku, her eyes staying on the latter. She supposed that he could be telling the truth; she never actually met Tron before. She wished her senses weren't so dulled by the pain, her sense of judgement lacking. But still, she felt like she had a handle on the truth.
"Darn it, Lightning, listen to him!" Riku hollered, slamming his fist on the keyboard again. He was referring to Tron, because he was telling the truth. C'mon, Light. You know me... Think.

Light shifted her gaze to Tron after a few moments, having come to a conclusion. "I trust Riku," she finally said, looking back to the boy in front of her. She would always trust Riku, no matter what.

"Huh?" Riku grunted instantly, his eyes widening. "No...no, no, no." He put a hand on the screen, seeing that Tron didn't know what to say. "Lightning, no!"

"Good choice," Clone Riku said, looking to Lightning and nodding once with a small smile. He offered his hand out to her, that way they could get going, where she could finally meet her end.

Light brought a hand away from her chest, shaking her head slightly when the boy offered her his hand. "You didn't let me finish," she said. "I trust Riku. And you're not him." She curled her hand into a fist and then launched it at "Riku", having known all along he was just a clone. She just needed to get him off guard, since he was so close.

Tron gasped slightly, jumping a little at the sudden assault. He watched the clone stumble back a few feet before landing on its back, and he looked to Lightning in surprise. She believed him...

Riku was frozen, his hand still on the screen as he witnessed what just happened. "Light..." She believed Tron after all, and showed the clone who was boss. That's my girl.

Claire lowered her fist, looking over at Tron and nodding slightly to him. "Thanks for the reinforcement. You made me know for sure what was going on." She had suspected it from the start, just because Riku hadn't been acting like himself.
Tron nodded. "Of course," he said with a serious expression, seeing that the clone was still alive. No point keeping him around to infect the rest of my database. Tron reached behind him and grabbed the disc on his back, before then flinging it at the manikin. It disappeared into pixels of data, then vanishing completely.
  • Author
See ya never, Fake, Lightning silently taunted, eyes on where the manikin disappeared. She was glad Tron came; she wouldn't have had the guts to stand up to "Riku" if he hadn't given her some reassurance that this was fishy. Now she just needed to get out of here and get back to the real Riku.
"Lightning," Tron said, addressing the warrior. "Are you ready to return to the User world?" It was time for her to go. She destroyed the data that was creating the clones, so the database would be safe once the security programs deleted them.

Lightning shifted her gaze to Tron, knowing that he wasn't just a clone himself. Otherwise, he wouldn't have ratted out "Riku". "I'm ready." But first, she had to actually stand up, get to a computer, and take down her own firewall.
Tron approached the young woman, holding out his hand to her. "Come with me," he said with a gentle smile. She could trust him. He would take Lightning to the transporter, once things were taken care of.

Light glanced from Tron's eyes to his outstretched hand, accepting it. She could tell that he was genuine, even if she was normally very suspicious of people at the start. It seemed like he didn't even know how to do something evil or corrupt. She grunted and stood up, a hand coming to her chest again and curling into a fist. Ouch.

Tron released Lightning's hand, glancing at her face briefly before he looked away to give her privacy. His eyes found the camera nearby, and he nodded to the person on the other side. "She'll be with you soon, Riku," he said with a genuine smile. Their problems here were almost through.

Riku smirked a little, happy to hear that. He released a small sigh, hoping that Light would be in his arms in a few minutes. He missed her, already.

Lightning and Tron started forward, taking a few minutes to walk at a slow pace to the place where she set up her firewall. Tron vanished once her work was complete and she removed her firewall. She felt herself being transported back to Radiant Garden, reappearing where she had left.
Riku turned at the sound of someone being transported back to the real world, and once he saw who it was, he felt his muscles relax in relief. "...Light," he said. Finally.
