Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora grunted, not pleased to hear that answer. He could only hope that somebody else found them. For now, he'd just have to focus on Kairi. "Alright," he called over the noise surrounding them. "Just stay with me. I won't let them hurt you." He didn't wait for a response, taking a few quick steps forward and vanquishing a few clones with one swing. They were easy to take down, but there were so many of them. To him, it was like they never stopped coming...And it would feel like that for a while, even if they were no longer being produced.
Kairi saw Sora move forward, so she did the same. She made sure she was close, like he said, but not too close; she didn't want to be in his way when he fought off the clones. After all, he was her protector, her warrior. He could protect her.

After a little while, Claire's pain started to subside. She pushed herself up off the ground and fingered the hilt of her sword, her weapon in its case. She was good enough to fight. She started at a jog out, knowing that she couldn't be too reckless with this. But still, she couldn't just hope for the best with this fight. She was going to go help.
"Freeze!" Aqua sent a Blizzard spell toward a group of clones, some her own and others of her friends. She didn't know where Terra or Ven were, or any of the others. There was too much chaos to pinpoint their locations. The young Master swung her Keyblade, slashing through another clone that ran at her.

Lightning eventually ran down the path that was now empty of clones, seeing that it was empty. The clones were lessening in number, but the people in the center of the chaos probably didn't realize that. She saw a group up ahead ganging up on somebody, the girl guessing that somebody was Riku. He probably hadn't been able to make it to the center of town because of all the clones. She grunted and gathered her power, sending a tornado to that area and destroying a good number of manikins while being careful not to let the spell hit her friend.
Riku whirled around at the spell. "Light?!" he hollered in surprise, but he didn't have any longer to question why she was here so quickly. He was forced to turn around, going blade-to-blade with one of Sora's clones. He shoved the things off before swinging at it, eliminating it for good.

Light saw that she successfully got the attention of some clones, a group of them running over to her. "Hmph." She ducked to avoid a swing, dealing her own damage with her sword. The clone vanished, and she easily swung through the rest that came at her. She was getting used to the burning pain in her chest, so used to it she wouldn't let it slow her down or make her freeze up.
Riku swung at a few more clones, all of them easily disappearing in one hit. He then shot Dark Aura at one that was going for the person he loved, not about to let that happen. Once it disappeared, the area was empty of any trouble. The boy panted, breathing heavily from the fight as he looked to Lightning. What was she doing here already?

Lightning looked around, exhaling a heavy breath when she saw she and Riku were free of enemies for now. She stood more upright and held her sword by her side, looking to her boyfriend and seeing how he looked at her. She kept her mask on, one that hid pain. She didn't know if Riku would see through the mask or not, though.
Riku knew he would be wasting his breath if he asked what she was doing here, and why so soon, so he didn't say anything. He turned around, starting towards town from his place a few yards away from Lightning. She would follow; there wasn't a doubt in his mind that she would.

Lightning blinked when Riku walked off without a word, but other than that, she didn't react. She silently followed, feeling something ominous in the air. The clones were doing heavy damage to the town, no doubt. But she knew that her friends and her brother would still be fighting hard. It's going away, guys. We've defeated the majority of them.
Riku continued down the path, walking along the cobblestone since he was in town. But not where he should have been, since he could hear the uproar from the battle going on, even if he was a little less than a mile away. He stopped walking, though, when something grazed his arm, making him grunt and instanly bring his hand up to the wound. Blood. When Riku looked up, his aqua eyes narrowed at the sight of someone holding a bow and arrow. Darren...or one of his clones. He saw one of them in the Grid.

Lightning brought up her gunblade, shifted into a gun when she saw that person who shot an arrow at Riku. She pulled the trigger and shot the clone, making it vanish. She knew it was a clone from the start; the real Darren wouldn't have missed.
Riku made a sound of disgust, looking back down at his arm before he took his hand off it. It wasn't worth healing; it wasn't even that deep. "Let's keep going," he said, glancing over his shoulder at Light before continuing forward. She was ready to fight, obviously, so he wasn't going to stop her. He couldn't anyway.

Lightning nodded slightly, taking a step forward before her ears picked up on something. "Wait," she suddenly said, stopping dead in her tracks. She looked around at the higher areas, grunting when she saw a whole lot of Darren clones line the cliffs surrounding her and Riku. And all their arrows were pointed at them. I was wondering why this area was so calm. It was a trap.
Riku looked up when Light did, his eyes narrowing when he saw all of the clones. "Ah great," he said, though sarcasm and annoyance were heavily present in his tone. This was just what they needed.

"How much magic do you have left?" Lightning asked lowly, keeping her gaze on the clones she could see. She didn't point her gun at them, not yet. If Riku didn't have much magic left, then it would be up to her to shook and knock off the clones. But it would be impossible to attack and not get hit by a barrage of arrows; the roles were in different Paradigms for her. This is going to be a pain.
"I think I've got enough. Why?" Riku asked, his voice the same volume as Light's. He didn't move, knowing that any sudden movement would cause the clones to release the arrows.

"You focus on defense, and I'll focus on offense?" Lightning suggested softly. She could shoot bullets more quickly than Riku could perform Dark Aura a few times, and he could make shields just as quickly as she could. But hopefully he wouldn't need to. He could deflect arrows and dodge them while conserving magic, if they were lucky. Is Lady Luck on our side, Fang? she mused, thinking of how her friend always used to bring up Lady Luck.
"Works for me," Riku said, still staying where he was. His Keyblade was in his hand, and he knew he would probably need it to deflect a few arrows. The rest would depend on his shield. All Light had to do was say the word, and he would be right there with her.

Lightning caught an arrow fly at her, the girl leaning to the side to avoid it. She saw the rest of them all let loose at once, and she grunted. Okay. So much for my plan working out. Riku couldn't deflect all these arrows at once, especially not when they were coming in from all sides. She lifted her sword as soon as she could, preparing for a whole lot of pain.
Riku grunted, transporting through the air in an instant. He pushed Lightning out of the way once he appeared beside her, then putting up a shield to protect his front. But he forgot about the back entirely. He winced, tensing when he felt what seemed like a million stabs in his back.

Light grunted when she hit the ground hard, ducking her head to avoid some arrows. She looked over at Riku with wide eyes, seeing the arrows. She sat more upright and shot off bullets at the line behind Riku, each of them vanishing once they were hit. And out of the corner of her eye, Lightning caught the arrows in Riku's back start to digitize and then vanish once the clone that they belonged to was destroyed. Weird...but I'll take it.
Riku grunted when he felt the arrows disappear, and he winced as he took a step forward. He lifted his arm and shot off Dark Aura at one side of the line above, using a Firaga spell with his Keyblade on the other. They disappeared as well, and the boy fought the urge to fall to his knees. Ow.

Lightning kept on shooting off bullets, seeing now that her plan was flawed. Riku's shield didn't surround them; now he was wounded. She saw an arrow come for his back, and she knew she couldn't shove him out of the way in time or deflect it with her sword. She stepped over and spun around, grunting roughly when the arrow pierced her back.
